Once again, the food did not disappoint. I had the chicken and waffles which are oyster mushrooms fried to perfection and seasoned oh so well! And I also got an everything bagel breakfast sandwich which I almost bit my hand eating . I truly wish I'd gotten two of these! The service is amazing and it's always on point. Ms. CoKiea has always been there each time I've gone and I appreciate that. You can tell she takes pride in the food she makes and the service she provides. All other staff have been stellar as well! This is one of our favorite spots and absolutely worth a 30+ minute drive. I can't remember what it was that we shared a laugh about, but I walked away happy because of that type of simple interaction that restores your faith in humanity. People who have never worked in the service industry are generally clueless and walk into a restaurants like it's their first day on earth. But even with my string of annoying questions, she never once made me feel like I was being a nuisance. Whoever is in charge here you should give Jessi a raise. The quesadilla was incredibly greasy and nothing like a quesadilla. The mouth feel of the walnut chorizo with the soft vegetables was weird / it felt gritty. The flavors fell as well. The only highlight was the salsa but I'm 90% sure it was salsa de welo which you can buy at a store. No one would finish my quesadillas at the table. Major miss for me.
