#50 hot pot the hot and sour fish soup, the Vietnamese crepe ...
    C... D.

Ordered the same hotpot ( the hot n sour fish soup#50) it had NO flavor!!! Watery and not spicy. To be clear it's our favorite soup- when made correctly it's vibrant with depth of flavor - spicy/ funky from the fish or seafood/ with a touch of sweetness from the pineapple- so this was very upsetting . Also tried to ask a question of the server and he said " too busy to talk " as he was preparing for a banquet ... ( last night , a Tuesday, at 8:30pm - when we left at around 9pm the party still had not arrived)... the Viet crepe was good ( egg& tapioca starch stuffed w/ shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts) -will order again- but at another restaurant.

Horrible Pho. Instant pho was more flavorful. Save your money and visit Teo for a much better bowl of Pho Bo.

I made mistake of giving this new restaurant a try. I ordered the Pho Bo and I was not impressed. The broth was bland. Please save your money for a bettet bowl of Pho at Teo on SE Harrison and SE 82nd.

Real steak-cut fries and homemade ranch. I highly recommend. AND bonus was the space itself. What a vibrant space! Light filled with butter yellow cushions for their built in seating. The decor was great. I couldn't stop scanning the room from the curved bar to the wallpaper. So happy we stumbled upon this place. We'll definitely be back. I should add that service was friendly and prompt.

Unfortunately, our experience last night was extremely disappointing. We were dining with a visiting family member and had just received our food and first round of drinks. When our waitress--who mentioned it was her first day--came back, I politely ordered a second drink. About 10-15 minutes later, a bartender (whose name was shared with us as Diego by our waitress) brought the drink to the table. Instead of simply delivering it, he spoke to me in an aggressive and condescending tone, telling me this would be the only time a drink would be brought to the table and that next time I needed to go to the bar because they "don't do table service." The issue wasn't the policy--it was the way it was communicated. It felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Shortly after, our waitress returned and asked if the bartender had been upset about the order, which added to how uncomfortable the situation felt. As the only table of color in the space at the time, the interaction left us questioning whether this was simply poor training, a bad night, or something more concerning. I can't say for certain--but I can say it did not feel welcoming or respectful. We chose to finish quickly, pay our bill, and leave with our food. This experience does not reflect the kind of hospitality we expect from our neighborhood. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and that management takes steps to address staff communication and customer service.

The ambiance was adorable, with such a nice patio out back--perfect for a warm day! Unfortunately, oysters are only available on Sundays, but we decided to grab a couple of other little snacks instead. We got the steak tartare, and I have to say, it was honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. It had the perfect smoky touch and absolutely hit the spot. We also tried the sardine plate, which was such a fun little snack. The tzatziki sauce surprisingly paired so well with the Spanish sardines and really pulled everything together. Spanish sardines with a Middle Eastern-inspired sauce? Pretty clever! Our server was also lovely and came out to check on us throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. For just a little drop-in snack, the whole experience was surprisingly memorable and definitely left us wanting to come back. Such a cute spot! I'll definitely be adding this one to my list of go-tos with friends. Can't believe it's been right around the corner and I'm just discovering it!

The ambiance is downright whimsical! Great wine selection, gorgeous floral installations, and one of those spaces where you immediately want to settle in with a book in hand. But let's talk about the crudo. I still think about that crudo. Bright, lemony, silky olive oil - simple but done so well. We even asked our waitress if we can keep the leftover olive oil to use it with the bread we ordered lol The oysters were also fantastic. They were barbecued, which isn't something you see every day. A little drier than a raw oyster, but still full of flavor. Limited seating so be sure to call ahead of time for a reservation if need be. This feels like the kind of place you celebrate something special, and honestly, I would not mind spending a birthday here at all! Worth it. btw the alleyway walking up to this place is so charming.

This was by far the most frustrating dining experience I've ever had with my toddler. This place is…read morenot toddler-friendly despite the "minors allowed" sign. I ordered a spam musubi for my 2 year old, assuming it was plain since the menu explicitly listed it only with rice and nori. It came with green onions and spicy seasoning that weren't mentioned. The waiter knew I was ordering this for my son, but didn't check or mention the unlisted ingredients to make sure it was okay. I had to ask for a new one plain with just rice, spam, and nori after he took a bite and cried about it being too spicy. 15 minutes later, it STILL didn't arrive plain- it came out with green onions and the sauce. . . I was in disbelief but by then it was 7pm and my son had waited almost an hour to eat (mamas all know how I'm feeling), so I held my tongue and fed it to him, picking out the onions. If someone had a green onion allergy, this could have been much more serious. I debated back and forth to communicate this. When I mentioned the issue afterward so she could be more mindful, the waiter's "sorry?" came across as dismissive rather than receptive. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve service, communication and attention to dietary requests. A menu update should also be considered.
