I used to go there quite often but stopped going when I noticed that their quality control started to decline. I'd thought I give it another go in hopes that would go back to the old Vocelli's , but no such luck. They skimp on pepperoni now (see the pizza on the right vs the one advertised on the left) and the pizza taste is bland. The pizza a few years ago used to be packed with pepperoni. This a carry out pizza place so there is no sitting inside to eat. I have come to like this carry out pizza places more than the other ones in the area. You can get a large cauliflower crust pizza where other places do not offer this. This makes for at least a little bit healthier. I find they give alot of toppings on the pizzas as well. The pastas are pretty good for fast fast food places. I get the steak and cheese sub on ciabatta bread which is not bad either. The bread bites are excellent. I think this is not bad priced for what you get. The service is fast and you can get delivery, but I always go pick it up. The ambiance is quiet inside and fast pickup. read more

After seeing this place many times over the years and wondering about them, I decided to grab lunch for the family on a Friday. I placed my order via their website and went to pick it up. The staff was friendly and helpful. I watched them make pizzas and it was just like most other pizza joints, good attention to detail with what they're doing. Since this was my first time trying them (actually, buying from any of their locations) I got free pepperoni rolls... these pepperoni rolls were incredible! Fresh, tasty, lots of great garlic taste... loved them! Only wish they gave more sauce with them. Their pizza was incredible! They use the smaller pepperoni, which I love because the edges crisp up when it's being baked. The crust was great and the sauce was really tasty too. I'm not sure why their rating is so low... I do know that pizza is one of those things that everyone else seems to be an "expert" at, since they prefer it to be like the place they're from, or where they loved it in the past, etc... I have ordered delivery here a number of times. They're usually friendly on the phone when I place my order and typically arrive earlier than my quoted time! Only problem is that thatwhat system they use for gps can't find the dang neighborhood. It shows up on google map so it should not be hard to find, right? Last time I ordered, I had to give the driver basically turn by turn directions to get to us. Pizzas are delicious! We came off the road at our hotel late driving from Canada heading to Florida. The hotel had Vocelli's flyer on the counter. We wanted something fresh and quick. Vocelli's surpassed that. The delivery was took 35 minutes and arrived hot. we ordered the califlower gluten free pizza with traditional sauce, cheese, pepperoni, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. It was awesome. If I had to choose to either eat pizza from here or eat a pizza Lunchable that was thrown into mud, I'd pick the Lunchable. We've ordered here countless times and apparently we haven't learned our lesson--until now. Last time we ordered from this place, the pizza was burned as if Satan himself prepared it. Came for the lunch special and ordered four slices of pizza with drinks. Pizzas are a nice size but they taste horrible. My 7 year old didn't even want to eat them. The cheese was thick and not fully melted and there was strange random pieces of spinach under the cheese. The sauce tasted like ketchup and we were instructed to seat ourselves and grabbed our own silverware and menus off a neighboring table. You see , ever since coming back to the land of the free, you start remembering things like, how there are other food places that delivers and you know there are food beyond fast food. I happen to choose my favorite kind of delivery, the pizza. 15 minute walk from my place is this very old school pizza looking restaurant that just made me go Gaga. Their menu alone made me drool that I had to have this for dinner. On their pizza, besides the usual sausage and pepperoni, is what looks like candied bacon and some roasted ham. The crust has that crunch, that anyone can ask for and the taste are like friends , having a good time in your mouth. The rolls that has the veggies , are with mushrooms, spinach and fresh mozzarella that was to die for. In every bite you take, you will taste everything, plus the garlicky olive oil that they add on top . Very delicious over all and amazing staff. Superservice excellent pizza and the manager was very kind to make my wife a big ziti with no pasta for gluten-free and expressed his concern to keep it clean from gluten but cannot guarantee it since they have so much flour! Could not be happier with them and their food! One of the best pizzas in the area. Ok. So why 2 stars. Not for the food but the crap service at the Rt17 location. Ordered pizzas for pick up. Wife goes to pick up order.......No order. The guy who took the order was very competent and friendly. (Conversation later with the manager I learned he forgot to process the order). Ok people make mistakes. We're all human. So why the rant. Because of the apathetic and incompetent counter person. When my wife arrived, the girl at the counter offered: No explanation; No effort to rectify the error; No apology; No effort (period!). But she did have the arrogance to tell my wife maybe we ordered from the wrong Vocelli's. How pathetic. How freaking lazy and apathetic do you need to be to not even offer to make another order. Saturday evening we stayed at the Clarion off of Warrenton Road. After swimming in the pool with the kids, we definitely wanted delivery over dining out. We ordered the pepperoni Vocelli Rolls to start. They went great with the provided marinara. We finished them off quickly. My meal was the chicken tenders with Garlic Romano sauce. I'd actually pay money for the sauce recipe. It was quite tasty! The chicken tender weren't anything special. The sauce really made them great. If your a garlic lover, try it! My kids and husband shared a large pizza. Half cheese and half pepperoni and mushroom. They all commented on how great it was. My husband said the crust was especially good. For dessert we ordered a half dozen of the chocolate chip cookies. If you enjoy soft made cookies, get these! They were also finished quickly. The whole meal including appetizer and dessert for a family of 4 was just at $40. We got a lot of food and ended up with some left over slices of pizza. We were impressed with the delivery as well. We placed our order just as a bad storm was rolling in. Lightning, thunder, rain and bad wind. We were quoted 40 mins for delivery but it actually came 10 minutes earlier, during dinner rush, during a bad storm. When I got my pasta, there was tons of pasta and not that much chicken and the chicken was GRILLED! - like Tyson grilled chicken strips. Chicken parmesan is known for its delicious breaded chicken and for them to give me grilled chicken is a slap in the face. So disrespectful. Do not waste your money here folks. The pasta was extremely overcooked and the sauce had no flavor. It tasted like canned tomato puree with no herbs or anything. I can honestly say this is the worst pasta I've ever had. It was a waste of my money and I'll never try this place again, nor will I ever recommend it. At the least, they could have notified me that they were out of breaded chicken and I would have to get grilled instead of blindsiding me.
