Very fast delivery I do think it's more costly for delivery and Vocellis should give the delivery charge to the actual driver that's delivering The food, past 3 times ordering all 3 separate men have been very nice and efficient and professional. Meatball sub very tasty, pizza was very good and still warm. With prices going skyhigh around our area Vocellis is pretty decent.

Sausage and mushroom pizza

For a chain restaurant, this is pretty darn good pizza for the price you pay. They are currently opened for contactless pick-up or delivery at this time as well. PLEASE order the buffalo wings here because it's absolutely delicious. They're a bit spicy but they're literally too tasty to turn away. I also had the mushroom and sausage pizza which tasted pretty good but the dough felt a bit heavy handed. I generally like my pizza to be a bit lighter (I love flatbread) but toppings were all freshly made. I wasn't crazy about the Stromboli, but it's definitely not a bad option to have if you're feeding a lot of people. They truly stuff the Stromboli with meats and whatever you decide to include in it. Would definitely recommend ordering from this location again!

Chicken Parm. They didn't even try. It's a frozen chicken finger and some melted provolone.... No mozzarella, no herbs, what garbage.

Giving one star because the wings here are good. But, this isn't an Italian place. I've had Pizza, Tuna, and Chicken Parm. All some of the worst Italian food I've ever had. Maybe the cheesesteaks are good, which should be a red flag as most Italian places in NJ where I'm from do not serve wings or cheesesteak. Perhaps this is really a Chicken and Cheesesteak joint.

I ordered the large pizza, pineapple and ham. Came with wings and I ordered a soda. Came out to $32 and with tip $40. The delivery driver was friendly. The pizza was good and the wings were awesome. They didn't taste like they've been sitting there all day. I'll probably go in next time cause I think delivery is a bit expensive. But the pizza is better than the chains out here.

1/2 of a small Basil Pesto Primavera pizza

The best delivery pizza in the Colesville area. Didn't even realize that I never wrote an actual review for them, which is a little strange considering that it's our go-to pizza place. Each and every single order is cooked to perfection. The crust is flawless with just the right amount of sauce/veggies/cheese. The meat is also good, but I prefer the basil pesto primavera pizza. All that fresh veggie flavor combined with savory cheese and sauce is just what you need for a lazy day watching movies. The chicken tenders are also good, as well as the subs. Think of it as your favorite cheap&greasy takeout, except it's neither cheap or greasy. Same options, better taste. Delivery is prompt and if they're busy, they'll tell you. I've never received a cold or late pizza. Enjoy!

Poppers

BP and I ordered carry-out and got an advertized deal for one large one-topping pizza with a box of the Vocelli poppers (now I forget what they are called). BP actually paid extra for a two topping pizza: chicken an banana peppers on thin-crust. This is our usual Dominos order, so we tried it here. It was good, but lacking the garlic seasoning that Dominos offers, but we still enjoyed it. Vocelli chicken costs extra, but it is worth it. The meat is nice, clean, and white meant. It was very tender. I seriously could not believe how good the meat was. The pizza crust on this thin-crust was so crispy and perfectly crunchy. It was seriously addictive. I don't think I liked the banana peppers as much because of the acidity. Those poppers were really good as well. I am glad I got to try an order of the garlic. The order came with one container of marinara sauce. The sauce was excellent. BP thought they weren't as garlic-y as he initially thought they would be, but liked them none the less. The other poppers were pepperoni and cheese and spinach and mushroom. I would be interested in trying the spinach and mushroom order and BP was debating to get hot subs (buffalo chicken, maybe), but we did not get it this time. Even though they skimped on the paper plates and napkins (two thin paper plates and literally four napkins), I was very impressed :)

Wonderful first time experience! We ordered online and applied a 20% off code we always use. The guy at the counter told us there is a better code for 30% off, and he applied it at the counter. Who does that nowadays? The difference in savings may have been pennies, but it's the principle of the matter that counts here. That was very nice of him to do that. The thin crust veggie pizza I ordered was excellent. It was better than any similar pizza I got at any Vocelli chain. It was loaded with toppings and had so much cheese, even though I did not order extra cheese. I was pleasantly surprised with how generous they were with toppings. Each piece of pizza was heavy, well cooked, and melt in your mouth delicious. The edges were filled out to the crust. It was the best pizza ever! The pesto pasta I got was not very good. It was cooked well and looked great, but it had very little chicken and the pesto sauce did not taste good to me. The chicken was just a few measly bites, it was nothing at all. The dish had a ton of pesto sauce and was very greasy. The pesto tasted off to me and just not what I consider delicious pesto sauce. Someone else might like it but not me. The garlic bread was very greasy, salty, and awful. We had less than 1/2 of the pesto pasta and threw the rest out along with the $9 I paid for it. But I am still going back to this location because I love Vocelli's pizza and I want to try the other menu items. And the employees at the counter were so friendly and nice and welcoming too, so that's another plus.

Broken up Blondie; asked the delivery guy to take back which he refused.

Ordered large pizza, pumpkin blonde, and ice cream at 6PM. The order status said out for delivery at 6:15PM. The delivery guy didn't show up until 6:50PM with an ICE COLD pizza, a broken up blondie that looked like he ate from, and no ice cream. Had to heat the pizza in the microwave like it was leftovers. Repeat after me - never will I ever pay a tip in advance again. Very poor product; very disappointed. Want my money back like Anthony promised. Will not be ordering from here again...

$14.99 special large 3 topping pizza with a brownie.
Reggie M.

Wow! I don't know where to start. Well, I read all of the reviews before I ordered and they were good. I decided to get a 3 topping pizza and the special came with brownies. It was actually A BROWNIE. A BROWNIE that was hard and nasty. I'm used to getting hot fresh and delicious brownies from Dominoes so this brownie wasn't even close. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time but it wasn't hot. I am not far from this place. Perhaps they should invest in their warmers the drivers carry. I was not happy and I am not sure if I will buy there again. Maybe it was a fluke, maybe not. The temperature of the pizza means everything. I'm still in shock that out of all the good reviews, I had a sub par experience. Will I try it again..yes. It better be worth it! SMH

We were in town for my son's swim meet and wanted a great Italian spot where he could carb up before his races and I'm so happy we found this beautiful, family-oriented restaurant. The moment we walked in, the smell of fresh, delicious food filled the air and instantly made us feel at home. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted with genuine smiles and treated like family, which made the entire experience even more special. The customer service here is truly top-tier attentive, friendly, and full of heart. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with love. We were even treated to complimentary bread and pizza, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. And the dessert? AMAZING the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. One thing that really stood out was how the owners greeted so many guests by name. You could tell there are many loyal regulars, and seeing that kind of connection between a restaurant and its customers is rare and beautiful. It created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like part of the community. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Vicinos to anyone looking for incredible Italian food, outstanding service, and a true family-style dining experience!

It's family-owned and operated, and you feel that warmth the moment you walk through the door. The staff are genuinely welcoming, happily accommodate substitutions and dietary restrictions, and often recite the nightly specials with a delightful mix of English and Italian--usually accompanied by a compliment about your outfit or your dinner companion that makes everyone smile. We had Christmas Eve dinner there this year, and it was every bit as memorable as we'd hoped. The portions are generous enough to share or take half home for lunch the next day. I especially recommend the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Piccata, and the classic mussels, all prepared beautifully. Don't overlook their neighboring pizzeria either--it's our go-to for both takeout and casual dining. Trattoria Da Lina is the kind of neighborhood restaurant every community wishes it had.

It's on the same block as a really nice Thai place and a nice Mediterranean spot as well. There weren't many people on a weekday night so we just walked in. Street parking is free after 7 PM. The star was the margharita pizza. And we also got a calzone, which was also really good. The texture of the crust and the little slight crunch and the sauce was really great. I wish there was more basil on the margarita pizza. There were three pieces of basil on the entire pie the pasta we got was the seafood pasta and it was a bit salty and portions are a bit small, but maybe that's the norm now? And we also got this other mushroom ravioli thing that is also pretty good but just really small. I think it was like five or six pieces of ravioli for $24. Service was fine. It was standard. The restaurant was a little bit hot during the heat wave. I wish it was a little cooler so with the four dishes altogether it was over $80 before tip for two people and we just had a little bit left over which is why I thought the value was more 3.5 than a four. That said, I'd still come back and get the margarita pizza and calzone - they're really quite good.

I remember getting the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but I couldn't remember too much of what I thought of the spot while my fam thought it was pretty good. It's been a minute so I've finally decided to come back to review this spot. I ordered online through DoorDash for pick up and once I got there the door was locked for some reason but luckily after I called them they unlocked the door. The inside looked a bit different from the first time I was there (last time looked more spacious) but it still looked decent. For my order I got the pappardelle bolognese $22, fettuccine Alfredo $20, and classic chicken parmigiano $21. - the pappardelle bolognese was my favorite of the 3. It had a creamy tomato flavor sauce that was paired nicely with beef to make a very good tasting dish. - The fettuccine Alfredo was okay but it's not something that I would get again. - The classic chicken parmigiano was solid but nothing crazy. I did like the chicken portion but the spaghetti pasta had to be the smallest I've ever had. - the Complimentary fresh bread and oil came with the meal and it was okay. All in all, this is a solid spot for pasta and my main recommendation would be the pappardelle bolognese which was done very well.

Thank you to Caruso's Grocery for hosting my granddaughter's 16th birthday dinner. A huge shout out…read moreto Patrick, the event coordinator from Caruso's who helped me in every aspect of planning this special event. The food was delicious. The group was given a choice of appetizers: meatballs, basil and tomato caprese salad, dinner salad, or garlic bread. Each of the appetizers were better than the next. The girls shared the meatballs, garlic bread, and caprese salad. Thank you to our server for bringing out gluten free bread for one of our guests with a gluten allergy. Our main dishes was the shrimp scampi, which was full of flavor and so tasty. There were several of us who ordered the shrimp scampi and you could hear a chorus of oohs and aah's. We loved every bite. I am pleased to share that Caruso's has gluten free pasta for guests with gluten allergies. And, the gluten free pasta was scrumptious. The birthday girl had chicken parmigiana and a side of spaghetti. She really enjoyed her meal. Another, guest had the penne pasta and she loved hers too. There portions were very generous. We also had a guest order the Caesar salad with shrimp. It came out with dressing, when the dressing was supposed to be on the side, but our waiter was quick to remedy that. The ambiance is lovely and reminds me of my grandmother's home in Little Italy. It is old world Italian with comfortable seating. I know it was a busy night, but the one fly in our ointment was our server. There was too much of a lag between courses, and main dishes came out of the kitchen at different times. Also, our gluten free guest had to sit and watch while others ate cake because her ice cream sundae was no where to be found. It finally made it to the table, but I felt badly for this young lady. I know our server was swamped with guests. Hopefully, next time a large party is on the schedule, they can lighten the load for that server. All of the girls had a good time including the birthday girl. So, I am reminded of the saying, it all works out in the end. Thank you, Caruso's.
