Paul from Norblom assessed the situation and came up with a more cost affordable and easier to maintain solution for us to close up the broken pipe in the hard to reach location and run new pipe (up to code) to the side of the house. During his inspection he also found an issue with our dryer vent not being properly hooked up which is not something we would have noticed on our own. He was right on time in his time window, was very friendly, took the time to explain things to me, and most importantly was in and out in a few hours. I attempted to contact about six different plumbers. Roto Rooter accommodated me right away, while the other plumbers were not available or did not respond to my attempts to contact them. We arranged a visit from 10 to 2 pm the next day. I signed up for the app and found my visit registered there along with a small cash discount coupon, which I used. The next morning, I received a call offering even earlier service, but I failed to answer and so missed that opportunity. Then mid-morning I received a free visit from their water cleanup person, who explained the nature of my spill and how to dry out the carpet. He did not try to sell me anything or charge for his visit and provided much useful information. At 2 pm, Roto Rooter called and said my plumber would arrive soon. Andrew arrived at 2:30 pm, quickly diagnosed the problem, created a permanent solution and offered good advice on avoiding future problems. I will indeed follow his good advice. In short, no other plumber came within miles of Roto Rooter in responsiveness, helpfulness and providing a permanent solution to the problem. Five stars indeed!

They claimed that the spout dripping was normal and I had Grohe sent me a new part to be installed. The new plumber who replaced it showed me how the initial diverter's spring was broken during installation. Very disappointing, especially the fact that they did not take ownership of breaking the part and charged me an exorbitant amount for installation. They wanted the same exorbitant amount to install the new part.

Northern Plumbing wanted over a $1000 higher price for the same water heater that a competitor charged me. The Northern Plumbing plumber that came to my home was very good, courteous and knowledgable but the current and past owners of Northern Plumbing overcharged me and the quality of their work was very poor. Buyer beware!
