If you're looking for extremely salty food and terrible service I guess this is the place for you. Once we arrive our waiter took over 10 minutes to simply greet us (fine) and then took another 15 to come back with 2 waters (she forgot mine which took another 15) and to finally take our food order. After our order was taken it took about another 45 to get the food and it was the saltiest tasting food I've probably ever had making it basically inedible. After our order was taken our waiter avoided us like the plague. Didn't check if our food was good, no refill of water, forgot pretty much every side item we ordered, and then never brought us our bill. The bartender (who was slammed btw) saw that we didn't get checked on in over 45 minutes that she had to come over to grab the simple necessities of our meal and even apologized for our waiters awful service. Normally I would never go out of my way to write a review but if a meal is $130 for 3 people before tip and the experience was this bad then something's wrong. On top of that our waiter didn't have the decency to apologize about long wait times or simply straight up avoiding us. 5/4/21: This is my first & last visit here. Something as simple as fried shrimp proves to be too difficult for them to handle. Have you ever heard of shrimp JERKY? Well, as overcooked as my fried shrimp were, that's exactly what I got. Rubbery to max. It I would've thrown them on the ground, I bet they would've bounced. I was shocked that they would even have the nerve to give ANYONE these hard balls of dryness. My kids could've played the game "Jacks" with them. They were horrible!! I'm being nice by giving them 3 stars. The food was hot & my family enjoyed the hushpuppies and fries. The shrimp were just a different story. Never again! They need to get a new cook & I knew I should have gone to the other seas food place around the corner next to Sam's Club. Lesson learned. read more

Hello, I hate that I have to be the bearer of bad news. I placed an order at Volcano crab at approximately 8:40pm on 07/01/2025. When I got to my destination, which was about 15 minutes away, I realized there were no potatoes in my bag. I called to let them know the potatoes were missing so a male employee said that he would put me on a list to receive the potato. Maybe 3 minutes after realizing the potatoes were missing I opened a crawfish and it was ICE COLD. I felt around the bag only to realize the sausages were ice cold as well. I called again to advise them of the SECOND issue. The manager on duty argued with me stating "I just don't see how it could be that cold when we put sauce on it and the sauce is hot". She then advised me that she could remove me from the list to get my potatoes that were missing and give me a 20% discount on another bag. I was baffled. How does that make sense to take away my already purchased potatoes and offer me a coupon because Volcano crab made another mistake?? After telling her I would not spend another dime with Volcano crab she stated "well I don't know what to tell you". At that point I asked for the number to corporate in which she told me it was a family owned business so there wasn't a corporate number. She stated that she couldn't provide me with their contact information so I asked her to have them call me and she outright refused. She exclaimed "the owner will tell you the same thing and I thought you said you weren't worried about the 22 dollars". So I still don't have my 22dollars or edible food, this experience was a complete loss on my end. I feel as if I have been robbed! This is the absolute WORST experience I have had in any establishment hands down. read more

I tried this place 2 times first one I just wanted fried calamari was relight next door and resided to get some. That was the worst calamari I've had in a long time, it was boarder line inedible. I'm still celebrating my birthday!!! It was relatively quiet when we first walked in but within minutes tables were filling up. The mood was right with the R&B music playing. Our waitress, Brianna, had a few tables but was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I did the Combo C with the crawfish, garlic butter medium. It was sooooo good!!! This restaurant had so many choices. The appetizers were really delicious including mozzarella sticks, calamari, wings and smoked oysters. The boil bags were huge with a lot of food at a great price. I was pretty disappointed in this place. We waited almost 15 mins just for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink. Music was very loud for it to be 3 people in here. There was no sense of urgency to even make us feel like they cared... In a sense, the place seemed a little hood... after we paid for the appetizer, which was the calamari, and it was soooo delicious, we were leaving to go somewhere else because of the service... or Lack of Service.... when we were leaving, the manager/ owner of the establishment asked us how was everything... we told him our concerns and he asked to make it up... he gave us some free hush puppies and we ordered food and stayed. We work in the restaurant industry and he tried to tell us that his restaurant was a different caliber than any other place and we had to let him know that it doesn't matter if it's a drive thru or a 5 star, customer service is customer service... no matter where you go... the food was good enough to get a to go order if i go back... but the atmosphere is not for me. read more

We came into the restaurant at about 2 pm on a Wednesday. There was no wait. The facility was very clean and looks well put together. The food was good and our waitress was very nice. We had asked several times for melted butter that we never got and the food was quite expensive. We spent about $125 between 2 people. We got the crab legs, lobster tails, and shrimp for entrees. Better utensils for eating shelled seafood such as crab legs would absolutely be beneficial and if the lobster tails would be somewhat separated from the shell before cooking it would alleviate the difficulty in eating the lobster tails. They were cooked to the shell and it made it very hard to remove and eat. The soup was spilled all over the place but overall the flavor was good for all of the food. Between a 2 & 3 Food was good. Server was friendly. It is a seafood joint and they seem ill prepared to accommodate for that. There were 5 of us, we were brought one pair of crackers, it was like we were supposed to share one pair. We were given a regular plastic fork... that doesn't work with crab legs at all.... so we wasted a lot of meat. The shrimp were not peeled. We were given one wet wipe apiece and had to ask for napkins twice. The paper towels were empty in the restroom. Rap music was so loud you couldn't talk and NO they were not crowded or too busy to fill the paper towels. There were several people working and just standing around. Was looking forward coming to this location after reading Facebook posts stating they finally open and that they had great food. Great decorations upon entering, hostess was polite and sat us down right away. Took over 10 minutes for our waiter to come and even ask for drinks. During our time we got maybe approached 4 times. They are not serving alcohol but they do have a bar in the works. Fried calamari was actually not bad, not over cooked or rubbery but the hush puppies was dry, good thing it brought the melted butter. My party ordered different combos and sauces so we can have variety of food to try. Crab legs, shrimps, and lobster tail were not over cooked, but them sausage was really good. What was the down fall for all of our combos was the sauces, it was super greasy and bland more than anything. The heat level was okay but the melted butter in the sauce was very over powering they whole bag. read more

This was our first visit, but will not be our last! We ordered hush puppies and steamed oysters for the appetizer. Both were delicious! The oysters were cooked in garlic butter and mild spice. The oysters were medium in size, more than one bite but not so large as to be chewy and tough. My husband and I shared a combo boil that was 1/2 lb. shrimp (head off), 1/2 lb. snow crab legs, 1/2 lb. Sausage, red potatoes and corn. For the boil we again chose garlic butter and mild spice. It was so delicious! The sausage was sliced which made it much easier to eat. Everything was freshly made. I should add that I am not a huge seafood fan, but thoroughly enjoyed this food. Our son ordered the chicken tender basket. The chicken was all breast meat, with a light mildly seasoned breading. The fries were lightly batter dipped. Both were fried to perfection. We had the opportunity to speak with the store manager, Matthew. He was sincere, helpful and very proud of their product. He explained that all of the seafood is fresh, nothing is frozen and then thawed. The use all natural whole ingredients for seasoning, no pastes, no powders. They even use fresh oil for every fried order! No wonder he is so proud of their product! As for Covid-19, all employees wear masks, tables are spaced for social distancing and hand sanitizer is readily available. read more

Amazing, just moved here from Michigan and their seafood is a fraction of the cost in Michigan! We got a seafood boil with crab legs, head off shrimp, sausage, egg, and potato. We went for vday so there was a special. So we also got cheese sticks that were super stringy! And a nice desert. They even added our sons meal to the special so it was free! (Chicken tenders and fries, which were amazing too) The service was amazing and the wait was only a few minutes. The peach lemonade is now a fav of mine. Only $75 without tip! read more

I have eaten Volcano Crab several times and my food has always been good. Tonight I experience customer service at its worst from the manager. I placed an order for the bag of coal wing special add sausage, when I got home I had corn and sausage only. Called back to the store to report the error and was told by the manager that the cashier rung it in that way but they would not correct it and if I wanted the wings I would have to place another order and purchase them! My dinner inconveniece and lack of wings and potatoes meant nothing to her. read more

The service was excellent. We were a group of 8 and they quickly brought our food and got all the orders correct and each check to the correct person. They were friendly and accommodating in every way. The bathroom was big and clean. I only had the fried shrimp and fried calamari and fried oysters and onion rings so I cannot address the other food but mine was the worst I haven't had anywhere and I have eaten around 3 quarters of the world. The breading on everything was so thick and tasteless I had to peal it off and discard it because the only taste it had was the grease in which it had been fried. I searched carefully for the oysters which were so buried in the breading I could scarcely tell they were under it. The calamari was so tough I could scarcely chew it after pealing the horrible breading off. The shrimp was so dry and hidden under the thick tasteless breading that I was relieved that they only gave me 6. The menu just showed the calamari, the oysters, and the shrimp. No sides were mentioned. Since I did not want sides I was relieved not to have to pay for something I did not want. When the waitress asked me if I wanted French fries or fried onions rings I immediately thought about the potatoes being worse for me than the onion rings even though I am allergic to both. When the bill came they had charged me for the sides that I never intended to eat. Everything I put in my mouth was the very worse I have ever had. It was very expensive for very small portions. It cost 45 dollars for , 15 calamari and about 10 tiny oysters. No beverage. read more
