As far as sushi goes in the Permian, this is your go-to place aside from Osaka. They are DEFINITELY overpriced as far as everything on their menu, and anything other than the sushi is best rated as "meh" or "edible". Service is always decent and we've never waited for a table. I'm so mad at myself for devouring my food before taking any pictures! I sat at the bar with a friend. We both ordered two chefs special rolls and enjoyed them a little too much! We also enjoyed the company of the bartender. She made great suggestions and I ordered the two rolls she suggested and wasn't disappointed. I had the pink lady roll and the vokcano burrito (cut into a roll). If you are in this area don't miss out on any of the amazing food or service. Passing through town and was looking for some good quality food to hold us over. Really excited to try out a new place only to result in dissatisfaction. We placed our order of orange chicken, and sweet & sour chicken to go inside the restaurant and waited. The chicken was not fresh at all, it tasted and looked like it had been sitting out for a bit. The orange chicken was soaked in sauce. Why not put the sauce on the side like the sweet & sour? I wouldn't have mind, but paying $34 for pricey meals I'd expect wayyy better quality. Had the Japanese ramen it was pretty good but the menu isn't up to date which is slightly frustrating when you order based on a price and charged differently when your meal comes because they have changed the price in the system not the menu. Super impressed with this place!! We went around 1 and it wasn't super busy. Waitress was prompt and attentive. They have a nice selection of sake and wine plus a pretty large menu of things to choose from. We ordered a spider roll and a Philly roll. Both were very fresh, good size and not drowning in rice which is awesome! The designs are absolutely adorable on the plates when they bring it out to you. I went to this restaurant. You have to phone an order . they took a long time. But the food was awesome. Their lomien has the right texture and taste. Their rice is good too. I can't believe they use actually mandarin in their orange chicken . I'm shocked to find this restaurant here in midland. They actually have people that know how to cook. Not the freshest fish I've had. They hold out on the rice(which is a huge part of sushi) Service was ok at best and the sake was putrid.

My husband and I have been here twice. Each time has been wonderful. We have tried a different roll each time we go to experience new tastes. So far, we are very impressed. Having lived in Phoenix for 8 years, it was pretty easy to find a good sushi restaurant. Finding one in Midland proved a little more difficult. Although understandable, considering the size difference. Having to go to San Antonio or Dallas anytime we wanted good sushi was proving difficult. Now we do not have to travel far to get great tasting food. The variety of the menu ensures that anyone with you will find something to enjoy. We have gotten the pad thai each time and i have to say, it is some of the best i have ever had. That last time we got the lobster roll and it was very good. This is fast becoming my favorite place to eat. Cannot wait to go back and try a new roll. read more

Great sushi place, with decent prices. The staff is friendly, most seems to speak English as a second language so can sometimes be hard to understand. The sushi always comes out great, it takes time and o come out but it is mainly do to the awesome designs they normally do on the plates.
