Before I write my review, I was initially happy with this place in regards to purchasing my supplies until today. I went into the store with my brother-in-law (Who was 20 but not 21) and was about to purchase my supplies until I was told they could not help me. I asked why and their response was because he was under 21 and was recorded on camera. The supplies is not for him nor was there any signs on the outside of the store stating anything about denying service for being with someone under 21. I then sent my brother (we are two different people, mind you) into the store since he is older than 21, not with our brother-in-law and was still denied service. So far so good. The reason for 3 stars is because I went there one day because my friend asked if i could stop by and get him something on my way to work. The visit was fast and the guy was nice. My problem is they started a promo $1 vape if you switch to vape. Like a starter kit. My friend told me and I thought hey maybe this is a good time to quit smoking see how I do with vaping. I normally LOVE going to this location because the assistant manager and one of the employees, Kylie, are both extremely helpful and welcoming whenever we come in. They're actually the reason why we started frequenting Volcano. However, lately my fiancé and I have been getting very poor service when we go in. Today was the second encounter we've had with an associate by the name of Adrian AND it was the second time that we were talked down to while making our purchases. I don't know if he just has an issue with us personally or if thats just his personality to act like he's better and smarter than everyone, but regardless we will NOT be coming to this specific location when we see him working, even though it's the most convenient for us. I cannot stand being looked/talked down upon in any way and he even made rude comments about our VALID MILITARY ID's when they're supposed to be a military friendly establishment. I don't care who a person is, or who they think they are, but I definitely feel like someone working in any type of retail should have customer service skills. We'll definitely be more aware of who's working if we do decide to come back. read more

My husband went into buy some vape product for his e-cig after we just finished eating breakfast next door. I went into the store with him however i was not purchasing anything. When he proceeded to purchase the product we were both asked for our identification even though I was not buying anything. My husband forgot his wallet so we went home and came back right away. My husband asked why we both needed to present our ID's and your sales clerk, Kylie was very defensive and argumentative with both of us and my husband told her she needed to watch her tone and that we were the customers inquiring. Another clerk then came to speak with us by the name of Ryan. She continued to help 2 customers that were in the store when we returned and while she was helping them at the register she was yelling at my husband and I getting more angry and walked toward my husband in a fighting manner. My husband told Kylie and Ryan if this is the protocol and procedure in which you treat your customers by yelling at them and if that is the type of treatment we as customers should receive. As my husband and I were exiting the store she told us FUCK YOU right in front of the 2 customers and continued to yell profanities as we walked out. I then turned around and said excuse me you need to watch your tone and you do not belong working in this type of business you have no class and should be fired if you were my employee. Kylie needs to have some kind of consequence imposed on her or she needs to be fired. She definitely should not be working in this type of field. I work for the judiciary government and we definitely DO NOT speak in this manner around our superiors or anyone in the courthouse for that matter whether you're a colleague or the public. Great spot to chill and hang out, get a drink (which are amazing) or something to snack on (which is also amazing) while you just sit back, relax, and vape on some e cigs. The service was amazing when I got there I was immediately greeted, they helped me get what I needed and also gave me helpful information about e cigs and the liquid. Asked for help in fixing my ecig, the employee couldn't fix it and told me the warranty won't cover because my ecig had signs of misuse.( the bottom of my CIG was worn.... The first time I went into Ewa Volcano they were great. The guy working helped me right away with what I needed. It was early in the day and there weren't many people in the shop. The second time I visited it was in the late evening and the shop was quite busy. I had a guy help me who told me that he could tell that I don't vape much. When I asked what he meant by that he said "you just don't look like you vape. I can tell". Granted he was very young and quite inexperienced and was very into showing off his vape tricks, but seriously. He left quite a bad impression. However, they have a great selection at this shop and for the most part have stellar customer service. I live in Ewa Beach and the Volcanoe shop is close to me so when I need coils or mods etc. I typically go there. The service is great and knowledgeable about the differences between device's, tanks etc. Every time I have an issue with something or need help the guys and gals at the shop are always there. Jason (one of the employees) is especially great at his job and has help me rebuild many coils that I don't have the patience for. I will continue going back. I just wish they offered more mods, tanks and juices other than their Volcanoe brand. read more

The first time I went there, the guy behind the bar , I think his name is Bernard was not polite in helping me. I'm a first time user of ecigs . I asked what kind of juices they had and he pointed to the bottles on the wall. Wtf. Is that called customer service? He was more concerned with the two girls sitting in their pajamas and baby blankets at the bar. My cousin who is a prison guard recommended this place, I was ready to spend some money there but that guy made me change my mind. He had a chip on his shoulder or maybe a whole bag of chips! I didn't feel welcomed at all! He didn't even say thank you, just gave me my receipt and walked away. Mind you I didn't even know how the change the coils on my Subvod. Went to purchase more liquid and have a defective tank replaced. Obviously a defect as the plastic tube came unglued from the metal it was attached to. This is the second time it's happened. The first time it was replaced with no problem whatsoever. This time I was informed of a 90 day "warranty". Several of your staff (not all at the same location) have relayed this was not an uncommon problem. There was another customer in the store today that said the exact same thing happened to him. If this is a weak point, you should fix it. I have no real issue with the sales clerk (Evonte) as she evidently was simply following policy. She also mentioned that "Volcano" was cracking down. I'm not sure if anyone actually reads the comments made on their website (review), but I thought I'd give "Volcano" and opportunity to respond before resorting to social media to voice my displeasure. If I don't hear from someone, I will likely be looking for a new vendor to take my business to. After my old volcano button stopped working I purchased a new lava tube. 1 month later same problem works sometimes but not all the time. I keep my receipt walk in to some kid that tells me I tightened it to tight. I assured him I took great care not to make that mistake. Then this kid says well you dropped it. I told him never dropped the scratches are from every day use. He says both void the warranty. With a chuckle he asked if I want to purchase a better 1 or the same. I almost socked this kid. Worst customer service ever! They don't stand behind their product and they aren't very knowledgeable about any of their products. Bought a vape there and came back two days later and the associate told me nothing was wrong with it. The next day it didn't work once again. Yeah I got caught up with time and I was pass the return policy (however if they were knowledgeable about the product they would've fixed it for me the day that I came in with the issue). I take the defective product back today and they wouldn't do anything for me. They wanted to put flavored liquid in my Vape to see if they could get it to work, which I did not want so I purchased the liquid I already had at home to get my vape working, then they proceed to tell me that the device is defective and they can't do anything for me. Do you think they offered to give me the money back on my liquid I Purchased at that moment to see if they could fix it?
