This was sent to my daughters stating that she exceeded her miles and her Jetta when she did not, and it made her panicked!!!!!

I cannot beg you enough to never ever buy a Volkswagon and if you do NOT FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. It's long but please read it will save you from a world of headache!!!! My daughter had to buy a Volkswagon during 20201, when her car died and there were not a lot of cars to buy. We helped her lease a Jetta from the Thousand Oaks Volkswagon. Not only did they price gouge, but they sold a warranty which we never knew what the warranty was for. We called multiple times to find out what we were paying for and no one could tell us then we asked for the warranty to be removed and they wouldn't. The dealership was sold to a very shady person. With the lease, we were supposed to get two free oil changes and a check up on the car. Every time we tried to get that they told us they were booked and that we would have to pay for it When we did have them change the oil, which we ended up paying for, we drove the car off the lot and all of a sudden there was a signal on the dashboard that's something was wrong. We took the car back over to them when they put what looks like mice prints in the engine and said that one of the wires must have been chewed and we needed to replace this whole system. They also tried to sell us $200 peppermint oil to put under hood to deter rodents. We have a friend that works for an auto body and we took it over there and they said that a wire had been loosened and that all I needed to do was be reattached. After at least 20 phone calls and speaking to the most rudest employees ever I have a list of names, but I don't know if they're still there. We decided to ride out the lease and never get another Volkswagon ever! We had 3 months left before we turn in the car. We received two notices which I have, that stated that my daughter went over her mileage. We called Thousand Oaks Volkswagon and they said yes, indeed she did go over her mileage and that we should bring in the car and trade it in for a new car so we didn't get penalized. I then called Volkswagon of America Corporate and they said she was not over her mileage and to ignore the papers that were sent. We now are trying to turn in the car. We had the car detailed, fixed a chip in the windshield, replace the tires and just received a notice that we owe almost $2000 for excessive wear and tear on the card. The car was literally driven 10 miles to and from work that's all she used it for, so once we threatened to get a consumer attorney all of a sudden we owe nothing. We had pictures for proof. What if we just paid this they would've walked away with an extra $2000? This Volkswagon dealership is literally the worst dealership I have dealt with. The incompetency of the general manager to the employees that yell at you that you're wasting their time if you don't want to buy a car was horrible. My daughter now owns a Cadillac Optiq that is fully loaded with everything on it for $10 more a month than her Jetta lease, that was a basic package and had nothing, cloth seats, basic package. Cadillac in Calabasas treated her with respect and gave her an amazing deal. I recommend that you go there and ask for Maria They will take care of you and you will come out with a much better car than you ever could at this place.

Worst Experience - Fraudulent and Misleading Dealership I had the absolute worst experience. They are blatantly misadvertising and engaging in what feels like fraudulent practices. I was interested in a Volkswagen they advertised for $23,000, so I called the dealership to confirm both the price and availability. The salesman, Harrison, assured me the car was available at that price and even mentioned that they could negotiate further and offer me a discount. Based on this, I drove 50 minutes from Glendale to their dealership, only to be told upon arrival that the price was actually $32,000--a staggering $9,000 more than advertised! When I checked their website again, I saw that they had suddenly changed the price, increasing it by $15,000. I have a screenshot of the original advertisement, which I'll be uploading here. This dealership wasted my time, misled me with false promises, and tried to bait and switch the price. Stay far away from these dishonest sales tactics! If you value your time and money, go elsewhere.

Updates: After speaking with the manager, they decided to honor the $500 test drive discount and the ad price, no add ons. Even held the car for me for a couple days, and stayed solid despite other interested buyers. Important notes Niko - Great salesman in the sense that's hes not super pushy and allows me to really feel comfortable and run my full PPI inspections and any other tests in order to feel good about buying the car. No more bait and switches after we agreed on an out the door price. One of the few honest ones out there. Managers Bryan Nguyen and Jan Jazwari were fantastic, kept to their word and helped me out. Super friendly, good on the negotiations, and held strong on our agreed price and when I would come in the pick up the car even after other interested buyers came in (Negative) Tim - Super pushy and shark like finance person. Tried to force me to sign and buy the car before I could come in to inspect the car and semi-tricked me by saying if I signed the documents and I dont like the car and it couldnt pass PPI, I wasn't on the hook, even though that was clearly not what was on the documents. Not super friendly, and I had to have Niko and Tim step in a room for a 3 way call and me to get very confrontational with Tim to call him out on his BS and for him to back off and honor the hold that the managers and I had agreed. In the very end, he tried to gaslight me by saying that he "never forced me" to sign any documents and wouldn't sell the car from under me when that was clearly the implication (said he had multiple interested buyers and wanted the car for his own daughter if I didnt sign). At the end of the call he said something along the gist of "well I dont control the holds so if sales said they would honor the hold, I guess you are good" and "I guess you dont have to sign". Too bad he controls all the final payments which were painless after I came in and actually finalized the agreements. Not a great guy to deal with if you want an honest seller, so I would watch out for him.

The people here at BMW treated us with nothing but respect from the very beginning. Other dealerships lost good customers because they ignored us or snubbed us as "less than". All we were looking for was a dealership to treat us with respect and we would make it happen. The men and women here at Rusnak made that happen. Gabe met us at the door with a huge smile and a welcoming presence. We knew exactly what we were looking for and he let us test drive a pre owned m4 competition. The moment we drove it we knew that is what we wanted. We looked at the new inventory and found the exact build we were looking for and it just so happened to be on the lot upstairs. We are now the proud owners of a 2027 BMW M4 Comp Xdrive. Thank you Gabe for the amazing sales experience. Thank you Nancy for the incredible finance experience. And thank you Leo for the great trade in value for our vehicle! We will definitely be coming back here for our next M BMW

I had planned to wait for what should be a 30 minute service, but was informed that because they were backed up and it was so close to lunch, my car wouldn't be ready until at least 2:00. It ended up being closer to 3:00. At least Rusnak paid my Uber transportation home and back. The Service Advisor tried to sell me on two additional services because "they were almost due". Rear brake pads replacement ($327) and Brake fluid flush ($325). I declined both and later verified using my car's computer system that these services were not due for 8,000 miles and 4 months respectively. 8,000 miles is more than I drive IN A YEAR. Rusnak's service department is not what I would call reputable. By offering me a discounted ($120) oil change, they attempted to add on additional services that were not even close to being due. While I've never had a complaint with the actual work done by their service department, beware that they might try to sell you on additional services not needed.

During my first oil change and tire rotation, my car was returned with oil stains on the cream-colored interior. To their credit, they immediately offered to clean it. However, shortly afterward, both rear wheel center caps fell off, which had never happened before and I decided to let it go. My most recent visit was even more inconvenient. I dropped my car off for an oil change, tire rotation, and airbag recall service. Near the end of the day, I was informed that complications with the recall repair meant my car would need to stay overnight. I was initially offered a rental car, only to be called back and told none were available until the next morning. My vehicle ended up staying for over 24 hours, and I wasn't notified it was ready until 40 minutes before closing. When I picked up my car, I was also charged full price for an oil change despite being told my coupon had been applied. I had to call back later to have the difference refunded. Everyone I've spoken with has been courteous and apologetic, and I appreciate their efforts to make things right. However, customers should not have to repeatedly spend their own time correcting mistakes that could have been avoided with better communication and attention to detail. The dealership needs to improve its communication, follow-through, and overall organization, as the repeated lack of communication and forgetful errors have created unnecessary inconvenience. While I appreciate their willingness to fix problems, I would much rather see fewer problems happening in the first place.
