My husband bought a new Audi Q6 and absolutely loves driving it. Unfortunately, owning it has been a completely different story. In the six months we've had it, the car has twice refused to start, displaying the message: "Safety stop. Call service." The first time, my husband was stranded 60 miles from home. The second time, it wouldn't even start in our garage and had to be towed. As I write this, it's been sitting at the Audi service department for two weeks. To make matters worse, the tow truck Audi arranged damaged a sensor. Now Audi won't cover that repair, even though they coordinated the tow, and they're telling us to take it up with Audi Corporate instead. It's been an incredibly frustrating ownership experience. The Q6 is a great vehicle when it works, but our experience with reliability and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Buyer beware. read more

This dealership is THE worst!! My seat would not fold down and they tried to blame it on me putting coins down the top of my seat. The opening would be impossible to get change down and they refused to warranty it plus they broke internals in the seat and admitted that my car did not come in that condition to their facility yet would refuse to do anything and even got snarky and snippy with me! I do live in calabasas so I went there for servicing had a problem with speed bumps and a thumping noise, and noises when I turned left, calabasas could not fix it after three times, Audi Corporate told me to give it one more shot at a different dealer. Luckily I went to Thousand Oaks Westlake, my rep was Adam. He is awesome, he said they will be able to fix it that they are able to fix everything and they have the best service guys in California. First, we got a warning light saying coolant over temperature on our car, we brought it in, they couldn't figure out the problem so they sent the car home with us the next day. Literally we started the car and the code came up again, so we dropped the car back off. They said they fixed the issue. 2 days later, same warning light, we get the car towed there AGAIN because the car now smells like it's burning. They inform us the car will need a new motor. Thankfully it's under warranty. 3 weeks go by, we pick up the car, I drive not 1 mile down the road and ANOTHER warning light pops up saying they overfilled the oil level. So I have to go back to the dealership so they can drain the oil. I'm not sure if I feel confident in their skills to replace a motor if they can't fill the oil properly. I wouldn't recommend coming here. They also constantly leave my car with 0 gas. But they'll charge me $10 a gallon if I bring their car back with 0 gas. It's kind of a joke. read more

My contact was mostly with Melissa Chacon, who went out of her way to help me with learning about which car to choose and to facilitate the deal on my timeline. I was about to have a milestone birthday and had a driving trip up the coast planned to celebrate. We owned a Volvo convertible years ago that we missed. I was going to make the drive in another car, but on a whim decided doing it in a convertible would be much more fun and memorable. This epiphany was on a Wednesday afternoon and we were leaving on Sunday morning. Once the S5 was decided on, they only had black cars in their inventory. I wanted a gray car with a specific options package, so Melissa and her manager got the car I wanted and it was ready for me on Saturday afternoon. I was never asked to make a deposit or pay in advance. No games, just great service. The only thing I would change about the process, is the decision to buy after sales service/protection packages at a discount need to be made/finalized upon delivery of the car. By the time I was picking up the car, I was tired, and didn't appreciate having to make such expensive decisions on the spot. This presentation of service/protection packages should give the buyer 24-48 hours to decide. Otherwise, a 5 star experience and the car is great. Thanks. The dealership had absolutely no solution for my problem, and another independent shop immediately identified the real issue, exposing their total incompetence. General Manager Marin Delgado is a joke completely useless, zero accountability, and no effort whatsoever to help me get my money back. I was forced to go through a full credit card dispute just to recover what they tried to take from me. This dealership is dishonest, predatory, and disgraceful. Avoid them entirely.
