I have given this review a great deal of thought. I am an honest person. I contacted Volt Electric to repair a light fixture and exhaust fan in my home. Ben arrived and quoted $700 for the job. The repairs were performed. A few days later, two men came to my home and demanded that I pay $6700 on THAT day! They said they installed an electrical panel at my home without my knowledge or permission. There was NO verbal or written contract. I did not have any issues with my electrical panel. I contacted their office and received a text message from Ben stating that he would place a lien on my property if I did not pay immediately. I contacted the Contractor's License Board at Case No. SF22022 15904. They were helpful and Volt Electric agreed to return the money that I had paid them. I am over 70 years old and severely disabled. Please, please beware. read more

I needed a NEMA 14-50 plug to be installed inside my garage for my EV. The owner picked up my call and sent someone to my home the same day. David & Fernando were courteous and explained thoroughly the work that needed to be done. They needed to replace the some of the breakers as well as clean up some of the wires (for an extra fee). The estimate was clearly explained and they have a 2 year warranty on their work, which is great. Fantastic service! Called Ben the owner the night before because half of our house did not have electricity and our breaker kept tripping. Overall, a good experience. Ben replied right away to my request for an estimate, and David came out within a day or 2 to estimate cost. I did not know that that it was super extra busy season for electricians, so it took a little longer than I would have liked between the estimate and the work being done, but I understand being busy..especially in the heat of summer. David was super courteous and efficient and patient in answering all my stupid questions. He showed up with a mask and made all the covid 19 considerations appropriate these days. Finding that part of the conduit-ground of the two-wire system was faulty, He was able to trace back to the problem, and make a repair in a brief 90 min visit, restoring power and AC to my two rooms.
