I messaged Volt Tech on Yelp to get a quote for an install of a NEMA 14-50 exterior rated outlet and Ben gave me a call right away. Ben was very accommodating with trying to work around my schedule so that they could check out what I wanted to get done and give me an accurate quote. Austin and Eduardo showed up when Ben said they would. Austin made sure he knew what I was asking for and gave me good suggestions. They gave me a fair quote (comparable to other quotes I received) and were able to get started then. They did a quick cleaning of the breaker box, installed the new breakers, installed the new outlet, and replaced a broken breaker that was in the box. Ben saved the day! We had been having appliances shorting out without tripping the breaker and had troubleshooted as much as we could with no luck. He came over a few hours later, even though it was late in the day and he was coming from another big job. He spent several hours, in full mask and gloves, checking all the wires and fixing everything that was causing shorts and small burn marks and melted wires. We were so lucky not to have an electrical fire. He explained everything he was going to do, wrote out a complete estimate of every expense, and had us up and running and most importantly safe. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his company for any non emergency work as well. All this and a 2 year warranty as well. My mom and I blew out a break (or so we thought) using blow dryers at the same time.
