Sandra is GREAT. My first appointment with her was around 3 years ago. She fixed a terrible attempt at an ombré (done by some other so-called professional at another salon) and turned my hair from disgusting to desirable in one sitting. I swear, I almost cried from happiness! Since then, she's been my go-to colorist. I'm usually nervous and picky when it comes to my hair, but her patience and understanding puts me at ease. Janine's work speaks for itself, and there are plenty of positive reviews here to back that up, but I can't help myself- I have to stand at the top of the proverbial mountain and sing my praises. She's talented, professional, honest and places the utmost importance on meeting your expectations. She's as excited to see the end results of whatever hair adventure you're embarking on together as you are. All the makings of an expert hairstylist. I've seen her for a haircut and keratin treatment where the end results were exactly what I had in mind, and I'm sure I'll be coming back for color at some point in the not so distant future. It is her specialty and all! Her sister Shahd is a brow magician and somehow managed to make my puny, sparse brows look lush and full with some shaping and grooming. I received a terrible, choppy and uneven haircut from Kristin. One side of my hair ended up several inches shorter than the other and I have to wear my hair in a ponytail now until it grows out. When I came into the salon to show her and get a refund, she tried to rationalize the difference by saying "that's a risk you take when texturizing hair" and blamed it on my hair texture being more straight on one side. She admitted to texturizing more on one side but would not give a refund or even style my hair to see if that would fix the issue. When I made my appointment, I specifically requested a hairdresser that was familiar with working with thick hair. I would never expect to leave a nice salon with my hair looking worse than I entered with. Will not be returning and hope some people learn humility to admit their mistakes. There are a few reasons I'm giving this place 3 stars. First my stylist wasn't on time, meaning I was there right on time for my appt. and she wasn't even at work yet. The receptionist was very polite and kept telling me she would be there in a few mins but I can tell that's most likely the norm for her. Second there were no clean towels and she pulled out a rag towel and I know one when I see one, torn and bleached and colored it was very unprofessional. I had a groupon deal which was a great price but don't treat me like second class cause that's how I felt. Those are the people you should treat the best. You want that person to want to come back and pay full price not move on to the next salon because they felt you had your nose stuck up at them the whole time. I will say this, she cut my hair pretty close to what I wanted and did some awesome eyebrows. This is a pretty new salon and changing things like being on time to work and being prepared for clients in the moring with cleans towels will keep you open a lot longer and make people want to come back. read more

I went to Volume lll Salon today because I bought a lifebooker for a cut and blow dry with Jania. First let me say the salon is really cute and very easy to find. Jania was wonderful!! We discussed what I was thinking and then went over some options. She cut 6 inches off and gave me long layers with side swept bangs. I was more than pleased with the result. I told Jania I was going to an engagement party later, so she suggested we put some big wave curls in my hair. I thought that was awesome that she was willing to style my hair at no extra charge. I recently went in for my second appointment and couldn't be more than happy with the services provided! The ladies are so nice, and the place is decorated beautifully. One thing I appreciate is flexibility with scheduling. I can text Cadet as soon as the day before to get an appointment, if she is available that is. But it sure beats the hassle of calling and waiting on the line forever. Very reasonable prices and amazing services. My first time in the salon didn't go as expected. However this was in no way my hairdressers fault. I don't think I was clear about what I wanted. But she was no nice and agreed to let me come in to give me the hair cut I desired! This place was great! shahd (the women that does waxing and make up) did all 10 of my brided maids make up for my wedding a few years back. when i heard she opened up a place i wanted to check it out and support. I just got back from this salon and had to write a review, this salon is exceptional! I got my eyebrows done, my haircut, and highlights, and it all came out amazing, and the price is very affordable! One does not usually rave about eyebrows, but the specialist is truly talented at this salon, I was actually amazing she could transform my brows into such a great shape! Her sister did my hair, and she was very attentive and detailed and it all turned out amazing. I'm new to town, and I found out about them because there was a good Groupon, but do these gals a favor and don't buy the groupon, instead they will honor the price themselves at the salon, that way they don't have to go through Groupon but you still get the discount.
