I didn't get a pic of my entree cause my daughter called when it came to the table, and I was hungry.

Yes Sir! Si Senor (sorry, I don't know how to put the squiggly thing above the "n" in Senor) is perfectly perfect. I mean, the food is wonderfully delicious! I ordered a couple of Chili Rellenos with rice and beans. These are Hatch chilies my good readers. They were unbelievably good. You can't match the Hatch when it comes to chilies. There has to be something in the dirt that makes them superior to any other. I should pick some of that up and sprinkle it on my lawn where the gardener killed the grass. Nope, bad idea. The fricken gophers would be in heaven. The chips and salsa are no slouch either. You get plenty of chips and four different salsas to tempt you. Careful though, the green one has a kick. When asked what kind of sauce I'd like on the rellenos, I told the server, NOT THE GREEN ONE! She laughed and said that they have a mild version. I opted for that. It was perfect for blanketing the entree. I didn't get dessert, cause the hotel where I was staying had a sign by the front desk stating that fresh baked cookies will be served. Well, that was a bust. The cookie lady said that the power where she bakes was out. So no cookies. I guess the old saying is true. It's better to have Flan in the hand than cookies on a sign. Quick Tip: Try to get seated by the indoor fountain. The pleasant sound of the trickling water will compliment your experience. That is unless you've been drinking a few beers. Then it may not be the trickling sound from the fountain that you're hearing.

The carne asada burrito comes clean but they give you all of the fixings separately, except guacamole and sour cream. Big sized and plenty of meat, but a bit dry and lacking the typical juices that made this burrito famous. For $11 it's not bad, but not my favorite. Flautas plate was big and crunchy. They are big ones!

Food is always delicious!! The food portions are enough to serve 2-3 people off one plate. Drinks are always on point, the service is wonderful. Waiter and waitresses always checking in on you. Came on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded, loud, or overwhelming

Just so delicious! Everything's fresh and top quality ingredients at this food destination. Service was great and prices were awesome considering what was offered. An established restaurant that's been here for decades, the ambience is a little stepped up from your basic salsa Trail restaurants. Great happy hour specials and tasty margaritas-- ole! Easy access parking in a dedicated parking lot. Definitely recommend taking some time to stop in and try a meal at this particular restaurant. Their sauces, all homemade, were just phenomenal.

This restaurant is a must try if you're looking for delicious food and great service. First things first, this place is big. There's plenty of seating throughout, small tables, large tables to accommodate groups and a separate bar area/room for those adults looking for a more private place to have a cocktail or catch up on some sports. The menu is quite extensive and has a nice variety of items and specials, the alcoholic drink menu also has a very nice selection of mixed drinks. They do serve beer as well and have Happy Hour and Daily Specials. The food: was absolutely delicious. The appetizer that has the rolled tacos is more than enough to qualify as an actual meal. The flautas are crispy, and packed with meat. The fish tacos were super delicious and fresh tasting but do pack some heat! If you can't handle spicy food, the fish tacos are not for you! Their hamburgers are juicy and a good size. The black beans and rice that accompany the tacos are full of flavor, they are absolutely delicious. The various salsas they bring out are all flavorful but spicy. If you don't like spicy food, stick to the bean dip they also bring out with the salsas. The service is phenomenal. Our waitress was on point and not only was she attentive but she had a good attitude. Made our meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, the bathroom are clean, and the atmosphere is upbeat. They do have patio seating also. All in all, this has become my favorite restaurant in Las Cruces and make it a point to stop by whenever I'm down there visiting family. Highly recommend.

Out of few authentic Mexican food restaurants we tried in the area, Si Senor was most upscale. It gets busy here, but we managed to get a table right away. They have very beautiful dining room complete with a fountain in the center. Beef tacos were so so, but the beans and rice were really delicious. Their combo plate is perfect if you don't know what to order...little bit of everything. Portion sizes are huge; enough to share. Their chips come with multiple dipping options. It was fun trying them all. Highly recommend!!

They start you off with free chips and salsa. If you're NOT into spicy, stay away from the green chile one. There was a sour cream based dip, bean dip and red chunky salsa. They were ALL great! Ordered the combo that had green chili relleno, taco, taquito and green chili with beef. So bomb! The rice was just ok. Not enough fluff for me. Beans were delicious tho! Waited for about 45 minutes for our party to be seated. It was pretty packed when we got there. Food came pretty quick. There were 7 total in our party as well. Ordered sopapullas and they were amazing too!

This was the first meal of our trip and it was the best!! We wish we could have eaten here many more times. The food is delicious. The chips and salsas at the beginning of the meal were so unique and flavorful. The sopaipilla treat was such a bonus at the end of the meal. Johnny, our server, was so kind, so polite, and made our first experience in New Mexico so special!

He has beaten stage four cancer three separate times. Needless to say, his career military background and having just retired in October 2025 served him well. He has faced every diagnosis head-on like the true American soldier he is. During one of our quiet conversations, he shared something that clearly weighed on him. He was heartbroken that he never got the chance to take his wife out for their 55th wedding anniversary in December because he was in the hospital. The next day, I asked him a simple question. If you could pick one restaurant within a 100-mile radius, just one, where would you want to go once you had your strength back? Without hesitation, he said La Posta. Over the next few weeks, a lot changed. He was released from the hospital. He slowly began to regain his strength. First the cane went away, then short walks turned into longer ones, and eventually he was even driving himself from LC to EPT for doctor's appointments. When I finally asked if he felt strong enough to go to that meal we had talked about, he lit up. He started telling me stories. How his father used to bring him to La Posta. How it had remained top notch throughout the years. He went into detail about every menu item he loved. But the one thing he really wanted me to understand was the ambiance. You will get it when you are there, he told me. I called to see if they took reservations. We were not even sure they did. A young woman named Priscilla answered the phone. I explained the situation. My uncle was finally strong enough to return to his favorite restaurant, one that held a lifetime of memories, and he had missed celebrating his 55th wedding anniversary. I told her I wanted to surprise them and make the night unforgettable. I even mentioned I was planning to have flowers delivered. Priscilla did not hesitate. She immediately connected me with her manager, Teresa. I asked if we could have a larger table than one meant for three people because my uncle wanted to order everything. Honestly, I just wanted him to eat, to enjoy himself, to feel normal again. Teresa agreed without question. Then something unexpected happened. Teresa explained that Priscilla was a single mom of two who had recently started a floral business on the side and truly wanted to help make this night special. She asked if it would be okay to involve her. Of course, I said yes. I was transferred back to Priscilla and told her to go big. No expense spared. I gave her full creative freedom and an unlimited budget. Unbeknownst to me, Priscilla partnered with a friend who specialized in balloon arrangements. What she created was nothing short of breathtaking. Place cards. Multiple floral centerpieces. An ornate floral display. A large professional sign welcoming my aunt and uncle to the restaurant. She handled everything with grace, professionalism, and kindness, even as our party grew from three people to thirteen. And then the story took a turn. The day before the dinner, my uncle was rushed into emergency surgery. Suddenly, everything was uncertain. Half the family canceled to stay at the hospital. We kept Priscilla updated as events unfolded. Not once did she complain. Not once did she lose her composure. She adapted to every change with pure professionalism and empathy. She even adjusted the floral arrangements when we decided to bring flowers and food to the hospital instead. That is when I learned that the owners of La Posta had been informed of the situation. The male manager on duty, and I regret not remembering his name, passed along a message from them expressing their deepest condolences and gratitude. He also shared that they wished they could have been there to meet my uncle. There really are still good people in this world. After her shift ended at 4 p.m., Priscilla went to pick up her kids and then came back to the restaurant just to meet me. She walked me through everything she had created and explained the work behind it. When I asked how much I owed her, she paused and said she wanted to bless my family and could not accept payment. I was overwhelmed. Her work would have easily cost four to five hundred dollars. I insisted on tipping her at the very least, and she reluctantly agreed. The food that night was incredible. We had a wonderful server, and the food was amazing. We ordered extra meals to go so my cousins could bring my uncle his favorite dishes back to the hospital. It was a small way to lift his spirits during one of the darkest moments our family has faced. My uncle asked me to thank you for the food. And I want to thank everyone at La Posta for the hospitality, the compassion, and the humanity. When my uncle regains his strength and comes home again, we will return with his wife so he can finally give her the 55th wedding anniversary dinner they both deserve.
