I've heard about this place through food network when i was younger. I was so happy to find out they had a voodoo doughnut in san antonio. My brother's gf, her sister, and I decided to check it out before we flew home. I ordered their Caramel dulce de leche donut, her brother's gf got the cookies and cream and her sister got the Banana one. After taking a bite of the donuts, we were very disappointed. The donuts were mid and expensive. I would save my money and go to krispy kreme or dunkin.

Banana Cream Pie Donut, and the Cherry, so magical! I can't explain, you have to try it!

Service was great, Donuts are AMAZING!! Sweet, soft, the way they're supposed to be, and so many options! Zoe, and Lexi, are great with customers!

While in San Antonio checking out the local downtown scene, my wife and our girlfriend saw a Voodoo Donuts and just had to stop in. Yeah, they are just another donut store but with a bit of a hip twist. The bacon maple twist is one of their most famous donuts and being lover of donuts we stopped in for a few of their 40 different flavors before continuing on through town and to keep for the next morning. All three of us really enjoyed the eclectic decorating style of Voodoo as well as our tasty donuts. Voodoo is a donut institution that anyone who enjoys a good donuts should stop in and check out at least once. We are making another trip to San Antonio soon and most likely will stop in to grab some creative donuts to have with our coffee for breakfast in the morning

Came here the day before Christmas with my fiance. When we arrived there was no one else in line. I ordered the Diablo Rex donit mostly because it had the most interesting decoration. After leaving the donut shop, we headed back to our hotel to enjoy rest of the day and eat the donuts The donuts were delicious and I didn't leave a crumbs. I recommend this place for amazing donuts

Friendly service, a clean and welcoming space, and plenty of donuts to choose from! The donuts themselves tasted great--fresh, flavorful, and definitely satisfying. I did notice that the Oreos on my Dirt Donut seemed a bit stale and didn't have the crunchy texture I remembered, which took away slightly from the overall bite. Still, it was a small detail in an otherwise enjoyable visit. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

The good - colorful & creative concepts, lots of options, large size donuts The not so good - donuts tasted stale, filling not well distributed, focus seemed to be on size at the expense of flavor. And c'mon, if you're gonna use ODB's name on a donut, it better look and taste dope enough to make me go Shimmy Shimmy Ya... but this was definitely not that.

I had some time before the opera and noticed that this was nearby and had to check it out. It was a nice walk from the opera and the outside of the building with their signs just brings the customers in. I was glad that there was not a long wait and the small dinning area was perfect to enjoy my snack and coffee before the show. I had no idea how many unique doughnuts they had with such creative names. Definitely a place I need to return to in order to fully appreciate the full array of delicious doughnuts they have.

If you like donuts with lots of weird toppings this is the place. It's definitely not for everyone and the toppings and flavors may be too much for some people's taste. I enjoyed the fact the menu is not something you see at other donut places.

I thought I had already written a review for this location but I love it here. I don't love the parking situation because it's in the middle of downtown but when I am nearby I will come over and grab one or two pieces. I have also ordered on DoorDash which is way more convenient. But then I wonder where do the Dasher park here? I've never had a bad doughnut. I love the bright colors of the location and the staff has always been friendly. I especially love the raspberry filling.

Great selection. Very calming atmosphere. The service was not bad at all and I received an amazing selection of doughnuts for a special occasion.

Located in downtown. Nice location and area. The donuts were good. We had the maple bacon bar and a churro cheesecake. The service was slow. I told the worker my coffee was cold she said it's fresh....i said well it's cold. She again "it's fresh." So I just drank the lukewarm coffee.

Very large location with a number of unique fun flavors of donuts. It's definitely an Instagram type of spot with all pink decor and the donuts are all nicely decorated. There are big windows to watch them in the kitchen making and decorating the donuts. The display case also has rotating displays of the different flavors so you know what you're ordering. The counter service is quick and not a long wait even with a line. Cups of water are not available for free, you will need to pay even for the tap.

These poor workers were swamped

First off the good is that the donuts were pretty good and ordering online was easy. The staff was friendly and hardworking and I don't mean that lightly. By hard working I mean they were severely understaffed and dealing with a huge demand of customers to the point that it was a miracle that this place was even operational. I felt the stress the staff was under and that creates a poor ambiance and a negative experience. I felt bad for the workers some pulling double or even triple duties. My complaint is that the franchise owners should have ensured adequate staff during high demand hours and or step in and help with the workload. In a leadership role I believe in feeding your horses. These current workers deserve to have more support, especially for a brand like voodoo. 5 stars for the workers all the way.

Not that great. Basic over priced donuts. Nothing too exciting about them except that they're different. They weren't really very tasty.

However, when it was finally served, it appeared completely clear, which left me a bit confused about the preparation process. I originally stopped in for the prerolls, but due to a recent ban or restriction, they were unavailable. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't seem very interested in suggesting alternative products or helping me find a comparable option. Overall, the experience didn't leave much of an impression. Between the average drinks, limited product availability, and lack of engagement from the staff, I don't see myself returning.

Formerly a house, the interior of this cafe has a serene feel inside with comfortable seating. There is also seating on the front porch and a huge backyard patio deck. You order at the counter, which is right when you walk in the front door. Your order is brought to your table, wherever you may be sitting. On my first visit I had a croque monsieur, a deli ham and melted cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce between toasted bread. It was delicious and was served with potato chips. I also got a hot vanilla latte, served in a mug, which was absolute perfection. One thing I liked was the absence of laptop campers. I only spotted one on both of my visits. People come here to quietly socialize or just take a break from life for a few minutes. My second visit was mainly to get another one of those fantastic vanilla lattes but I also chose a chocolate croissant from their pastry case. The croissant, served on a nice dish, was fresh, flakey, and full of chocolate. I sat, relaxed, and felt like things didn't get much better than this.

However, parking was difficult and not very convenient. The coffee was good and smooth, but nothing that really stood out. It was solid quality, just not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that surprised me was the price. My latte was listed at $7, but with all the extra charges for add-ons it quickly became $9+, which felt a bit pricey even coming from Chicago where coffee can already be expensive. What really affected the rating for me was the service speed. It was probably the slowest coffee service I've experienced. I waited about 15 minutes for two lattes, and there was only one other person ahead of me. For a simple order, that felt like a long time. Overall, it's a nice café with a clean, spacious atmosphere and decent coffee, but the pricing and slow service make it somewhere I'd visit occasionally rather than regularly.
