Their taco is the best tacos I've had so far. I also like chicken fajita bowl. You have to keep on track of your order because sometime they will forget your order. The place is super busy in lunch hour and for parking it totally depends on your luck. read more

Not impressed at all. Had Ghost, Barbacoa and pork carnitas. They looked good but had no flavor and pork seemed heavy and overcooked. Queso was not bad but nothing to write home about. Awesome tacos! The prices look high, but the tacos are pretty good size. I would estimate around double the meat you get per taco at chipotle or qdoba. If you like seriously hot food, they have some intense home made hot sauces. The mahi tacos are tops and I was surprised how big of a filet they put in there for the price. read more

Who doesn't like the idea of eating at Voodoo anything? I wanted to love them. However, having lived in Colorado, serving a taco on an uncooked flour tortilla is simply sacrilegious. I have not tried their nachos, but I'm sure they're probably good, hard to go wrong with chips and anything. We were driving up to Omaha and searched for a place to eat, and Voodoo a Taco sounded great. It completely lived up to our hope! I had the Barbacoa Taco, and it was tasty. Typically a forgiving customer, but had to voice my opinion on this one. A to-go order took 35 minutes (was told 20) to prepare 4 tacos and cheesy rice. When I arrived home, approximately 5 minutes later, I found that not only the tacos and rice were cold, but the rice was largely undercooked. I was also very unimpressed with the quality and size of the tacos relative to the cost. Save your time and money! I would have had a better experience at Taco Bell for half the cost! read more

I love Voodoo so much! Their tacos are AMAZING!! Plus they have a fun and festive Taco of that month which has created a fun tradition to try each one. I love all of their food and sauces. Absolute rip off. Torchy's Tacos in Texas should sue these people. The owner should be ashamed of himself trying to take something so successful down south and completely duplicate it. The only thing different about Voodoo Taco is that he makes a 'Taco of the Month'. Congratulations on being able to do one thing by yourself. I went into the Aksarben location. No one greeted me for a good 2 minutes. The place is not that big. Where are they all hiding. After I ordered, I went and tried to find a clean table. Luckily found one in the back. The decorations are okay. I understand what they were trying to do, but it just wasn't working for how they portrayed their other locations. Consistency anyone? I finally got my food, and it was okay. Quite soggy and the quality was not right. Plus it looked like a kitchen guy was pissed off at life because the presentation was shotty at best. I didn't expect a great experience and to top it all off, I heard employees in the back hallway talking crap of different customers in the store, including myself. Unbelievably rude staff. Refused to answer a question about items on their menu because "I have a line of customers so..."

Recommended by someone we met while in Omaha. Ordered the June special which was recommended by the cashier and the pork carnita. Husband ordered the Philly steak while kids got the chicken finger basket. We also ordered chips and queso which came out rather quickly. Chips were delicious as was the queso. We were disappointed to see only one strip I'm the chicken basket as both kids were still hungry at the end of our meal. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his tacos and didnt need any sauce. I did not like any of my tacos. The flavor of the meat was unfamiliar to me. There was too much going on with my tacos. I should have kept it simple but decided to try their most popular dish. Probably won't return but will suggest to others if they are looking for somewhere different to eat. read more

Really love this place! Tacos are amazing but a bit on the smaller side for what you pay for. Ends up being around six bucks for just a drink and a taco the size of the regular ones at tj's or Taco Bell. Granted the ingredients are 150% better. As much as I love the food. This location is just very slow. If you're trying to go some where to get food fast this is not the place to go. Each time I've come here I've waited over 25 minutes for my food. The typically have one cook so everything takes them 10 times longer to make. read more

I'm struggling with the rating here - I have had a couple experiences and am always disappointed with the customer service. The staff that work, just do not seem to care. My recent experience was very frustrating - I showed up at about 9:05ish and waited for a good 5+ minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and it was the guy who appeared to be the manager cleaning the tables. Someone came out from the kitchen and he spoke to him and then let me know someone would be with me soon. He then headed to the counter and I asked how late they were open and he said he was closing up in about 15 minutes - I said, okay I would go somewhere else because I was looking for somewhere that I wouldn't feel rushed in eating here. Pinpoint has this location open until 11 on Saturdays. He then became a little aggressive with the sale saying I could stay and no one was going to rush me out, I said I would go somewhere else, he then tried to get me to get something to go and I was like, no I will just go somewhere else. read more

Been here a couple of times now. I have heard many negative reviews and wasn't expecting to like this place but I did. The tacos here are good and they have interesting flavor combinations. The barbacoa is my favorite so far. The brisket taco would be good if they would put more than 2 tiny slices on there. Not a place I care to go to all the time because it is pricey. Expect to pay around $4 per taco. But it is a gourmet taco joint so that is expected. I wish they would label them or something so I know which is which when they bring the order out. I would give them 3 1/2 stars but rounded it up to 4 becsuse the service was really good.
