The last trip I made, I came in just for the final fitting with my shoes- thought we were good to go. The dress was shipped to our fashion designer who accepted it and got it all to the venue. When i got dress, it had not been hemmed- 5 inches too long. It had to be stapled or i would not have been able to wear it! When asked about the incident, she said I had not come in with my shoes which was simply not true. I paid a total of $4000 extra for alterations on a custom dress! She refused to take any responsibility for it and blamed it on me. I think she is an amazing designer, but i really got screwed-proceed with caution!

DeLayna went out of her way to create the most incredible moment! It brought tears and I'm still incredulous. She ran out, THE DAY OF, to get Prosecco, a dozen white roses and a gift bag full of cherished delights so my daughter would have an amazing fitting. After having terrible experiences, being a plus-sized bride-to-be, we pulled our business from one bridal salon. We had appointments at so many others around the country, but they were so -meh-. Every bride-to-be deserves a fabulous experience, you know? We were concerned and quite nervous after falling in love with Nardos Design online... until this fitting happened. What a moment! The experience was totally a dream! My daughter felt like a princess! The dress (muslin) was so incredible, we all cried (including her maid of honor who we were on FaceTime with)! I was so excited that I overshared a glimpse of the moment on my IG! Aaaaand ended up selecting the most incredible mother of the bride dress for myself! I wasn't sure what I was walking into visiting a consignment boutique rather than a normal dress shop and I was very pleased! I had ideas of what I thought I liked but tried on so many dresses to confirm and the lady helping me was so patient and kind. We went on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened and they did get busy, but by the time we left it was slow again so i would say they probably get waves of people. We were greeted by the super sweet Taylor, who got us settled in and brought us some champagne, then I was assisted by Alexis. After helping me try on the gown I'd been pining after, she brought me a few completely different gowns to try for fun... and the third one was so stunning on me I CHANGED MY MIND! Alexis knewwww hahaha. Apparently the entire time we were having a blast, another bride had a meltdown and was yelling at the staff for being 6 mins late to helping them.. Alexis and Taylor were visibly short staffed and killing it, did not deserve a second of it... and managed to keep the magic alive for the other brides without skipping a beat. Talk about professionalism!!! Luckily or unluckily I found a dress I loved here. Lynette was very knowledgeable and helped select the dress for me. I purchased the dress October of 2025. I was quoted my dress would arrive beginning of April. For months I heard nothing from them. the estimated delivery date for the dress passed and still I heard nothing from their shop. I had to call a week later after estimated arrival and figure out what was going on. I spoke with the ladies there and was told the manufacturer was still working on assembling the dress and it had not been sent out for delivery. So ultimately, they found a similar dress and were going to ship it out. At this point my dress was MISSING after purchasing it six months in advance. They were quick in finding a dress for me so I will give them that. Fast forward to the seamstress, she was really nice. However, for a dress that "fit me well" she charged me over $500 in alterations for it. Only to not fit me properly on my actual wedding day. Ultimately I WOULD not recommend this bridal place to ANYONE. They left me more stressed out rather than helping to aleviate stress.
