    It's a shame you can't put 0 stars because that's how I feel about the place after 2.5 years. Lowkey wish I hadn't renewed the second year. Mistakes were made on my part and management is not very helpful. They seem to be powerless to do something about then issues that truly matter. Recently the employees haven't been as friendly and the pet owners have been prolific at letting their pets defecate all over the property and refusing to clean up after them. Oh also if you have a Tesla you're screwed. Electric vehicle charging is a nightmare and for some reason teslas have been targeted in the parking structure. The thieves legit left one in the parking lot on cinder blocks. I regret living here.

    Just read their response and them calling me a Liar is crazy when I literally have gotten hung up on by people at their office multiple times. I also attached an email they sent asking for reviews where they specifically ask to provide a time where a staff member went above and beyond so obviously that wouldn't include a poor review. They also have to "confirm" the review before you get your treat.

    Vox and Greystar display abhorrent behaviour when it comes to how they treat their tenants financially. Steve and the operations manager will go out of their way to try and extract money from you and use corporate pressure tactics to do so. It started in 2023 when we toured this apartment complex with the leasing advisor, Liz Escutia. The leasing advisors will frequently pull bait-and-switch tactics (confirmed by speaking with other tenants in the building) by showing you a sample apartment with dimensions that are grossly exaggerated. They will then claim that, "The unit you're looking for is currently occupied, but will be ready for you on your desired move-in date" - therefore, preventing a direct comparison the day of your tour; they will assure you that it is, "Exactly the same apartment." Come to find out, it isn't. After delaying and ignoring emails, they will then make a piddly offer to 'compensate you' for their 'mistake.' After which, they will then rescind their original offer and leave you with nothing, stating, "I am upset to inform you we cannot meet your request." Please take a look at the lovely screenshots I provided. The next apartment we looked at after the lease was up, we knew better. We insisted that we see the apartment first. This is where Steve comes in. He tried to levy a $300 'transfer fee' when I had very clearly concluded my lease and was starting a new one. After pushing back, he waived it. Next, they billed me for an entire month of rent on the last month in the original apartment (despite us having a pro-rate agreement in place) as we were moving into the new apartment and would only need three weeks. I was told they could not refund me the amount, and I would have to wait for the security deposit to be returned as my over-payment would be included there. They then tried to tabulate my over-payment into the grossly excessive fees that they tried to get away with charging us for, 'repainting, cleaning, and damaged cabinets.' Steve had me cancel the cleaners I arranged as he wanted the apartment keys back early, and said that I wouldn't be charged a cleaning fee. They are trying to charge us $275 for the cleaning of an empty apartment. They are trying to charge us $660 for damaged cabinets that we identified were damaged PRIOR to us moving in, with our move-in checklist. Lastly, $308.19 for repainting - which if you were unaware is ILLEGAL in California pursuant to CA Civ Code Section 1950.5. The landlord cannot charge you for repainting an apartment unless the tenant causes negligent damage that requires repainting. If the landlord chooses to repaint the apartment after your term, that cost is incurred by the landlord. By the way, they have to itemize all these charges and provide receipts to at least prove they paid what they claimed for these services - which they obviously did not do. Steve then tried to say that he was confident he could waive the cleaning fee, and then went back on it. Then he said he 'managed' to get the damage fees waived, but I still need to pay the cleaning fee and paint fee (not even once responding to my note about the California Civil Code I mentioned on two separate emails). See the screenshots below. I provided numbers in the photo captions to help with the order. The audacity to try and barter over ~$1,500 dollars when Greystar boasts a 10,000 unit portfolio (meaning they own thousands of these cash-cow complexes) is simply disgusting. Needless to say, don't trust them.

The building also has a really nice gym, which has been a huge plus for me. It's convenient, clean, and well-maintained. The neighbors are friendly, and the overall community feels welcoming. One of the biggest reasons I've enjoyed living here so much is because of Danny and Stephanie. They're always helpful, responsive, and truly care about the people who live here. They don't make you feel like just another tenant -- they treat you like family. Anytime something needs attention or an issue comes up, they handle it very quickly and efficiently. It's reassuring knowing management actually cares and takes action right away. I'm really grateful to call this place home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to live in the area.

Hands down, so amazing - Units are S P A C I O U S - Neighbors actually are kind + talk to you - Communal area pool + ranges are amazing - Staff, did I mention that already? - Walking distance to amazing food + drinks - Well maintained building Cons - Parking for guests (street parking - plenty, so not bad) The parking is not a deal-breaker for your guests. If you have two spaces and don't have two cars, you can always get them into your other space to avoid street parking. With meters and lots all over the area, what else would expect from the city life? It's safe here and frequently monitored by SouthPark officers as well. What I'll sorely miss about this place were the relationships that I built. I knew the entire staff and would wave, talk, and truly lean in with them all. Whether it was before/after work, going out for the night, or chatting, they were more than friendly. They became my community of friends. They felt like family. If you want a place that does not feel pretentious, has a community of others that say "hi" to you, and is close to the core of DTLA, come live here. It will be hard to find a staff that manages the building and secures it, then you will find it at ELLEVEN. Cleaning staff of what I can tell might be only 2 people do a great job of handling the occasional mess. Apartments: Well maintained, appliances are pretty good, but all compact versions as the rooms themselves are pretty small. Decent amount of cabinet space, and high ceilings so if you can make use of vertical storage, you should be in good shape. Floors are concrete so while they are easy to clean, they are also very cold. Not recommended for families due to size, but couples can make due and singles will be fine as long as you don't have a lot of stuff. Amenities: - Parking is limited to 1 space per apartment which would be one of the few drawbacks but some of the neighboring streets have free parking with only 1 day where you have to move the car for street cleaning. Streets in the area are also very safe seeming.. Building has electric car charging spots also. - Gym Equipment is relatively new, good quality and kept clean. Nothing too fancy, similar to a nice hotel. Would be nice to have 1 or 2 more items but definitely adequate for a relatively small apartment complex. Also, never busy and 24 hours (although be careful after hours as I believe the person directly above can hear the noise from the gym). Two large TV's for watching games etc. - Coffee Commissary: This place is great. While it's not part of MLofts, it is in the same building and is a good place to do work. - Pet Run: This is a secure walkway where you can walk your dog. A great idea in concept but I generally walk around the block to the grass. - Laundry: 1 washer/ 1 dryer on every floor. Seems like not enough but I've only occasionally run into a situation where I had to borrow another floor's. Laundry rooms are relatively clean (as far as laundry rooms go anyway). - Common gathering areas: Firepit, common area tables and penthouse grills are all well maintained. These areas don't seem to get much use. While they are nice to have, I think it's probably because it's a bit awkward to have a gathering or to hang out in the middle of the common where you are in view of basically everyone else that lives in the complex (unless you're into that sort of thing). The penthouse grill area is more private which is nice, but again, I've never seen a gathering up there. - Wifi in lobby/gym: This seems a little spotty, but there's general cell service in the area. Staff: Julie the Property Manager and Stephanie the Assistant Community Manager are definitely a huge plus for this place. Both of them are very responsive to concerns and will go out of their way to take care of issues. They have responded to all of our maintenance requests within 24 hours. They even move all of the packages into the locked office before they leave for the weekend and put them back out in front of your mailbox to minimize the chance of theft. Residents: Generally young professionals who keep to themselves, very dog friendly.

I've lived in many apartments in my life, and it is rare to encounter a leasing specialist like Shanice - who is truly a step ahead on the details and provides such an overwhelmingly positive experience. I've had a rambling list of questions, and she has put me at ease with her patience and with each answer (via email, phone, and in-person; excellent communication). I honestly feel comfort in knowing that Shanice and Jackie are on staff at M Lofts. I can tell they care, and it makes me feel at home.

We ended up going with a unit in a different area for work convenience, but honestly we really loved the concrete floors and the view from the balcony. The place looks really well run. The landlord, Sabrina, is an absolute dream to have on your team. She's personable, she listens, she cares, and she will do what it takes to make you confident in your home. Her team member Alex, is so sweet and hard working. Both of them rock a smile daily, and are very easy to talk to. The building is clean, they keep the units up to date and working efficiently and effectively. I went from a 2 bedroom, to a 1 bedroom over the course of a handful of years. My partner and I at the time were the very first renters to secure a unit in the brand new built complex. It was a virtually perfect living experience for us, and then myself alone in the one bed unit. Better late than never, I HIGHLY recommend this complex as a hop-skip-jump away from Sunset Blvd and all Silver Lake and Echo Park have to offer. THANK YOU for making me feel important and completely cared for.
