I give this place a 3 star rating based on my last two visits. If I were to rate based on my first two visits with Tom, I would give this place a 5 star rating. He is the only one who has done a nice job on my nails. I went to the spa begrudgingly with someone else twice since Tom wasn't working when I was available to go. The first time, I went with someone named Helen, who I was told today doesn't work there (weird). She did a semi decent job on my SNS, but the color started lifting less than a week after I got the manicure with her, which never happens with Tom. Today, I was scheduled to go with Helen again, but when I got to the salon, the receptionist seemed confused because there was no Helen who works there. I had to wait for a young girl named Tiffany to arrive to take care of me. She was quite abrupt in her manner. What I especially didn't like was that she put layers of a clear coat on my nails that had black glitter on the brush. When I pointed it out, she said it was from a previous manicure and it wouldn't show on my off white nail color (I'm being sarcastic). When I sat there inspecting my nails, Tiffany seemed very irritated when she asked, "Is something wrong because you keep looking at your nails?" Yeah, I have black glitter all across my pastel colored polish that YOU said wouldn't show up. Finally, I wanted my cuticles cut, and for some weird reason, Tiffany said I could get a manicure AFTER the SNS dip color was applied. That made no sense. I did not say a word to her for the rest of the time I was there. She snappily spoke in her language to the other girls, no doubt about me. Moral of the story- Go to Tom if you go to this place. The best part of my trip today was asking Tiffany to make my next appointment- with Tom. No offense to the other techs who I did not try, but I have already wasted $90+tip on two sub par SNS manis with Tiffany and the elusive Helen. read more

I got a pedi 6 weeks ago and it still looks good! So now I'm back for my second. I also got my eyebrows waxed which didn't hurt as much as many other places. I will come here whenever I'm in the area for work. read more

The lady who did my nails was very nice. However I had my nails done for not even a week and they already started chipping. If I'm paying $80 plus a tip for a gel mani and pedi I don't expect my nails to be coming off not even a week after. I also felt super rushed. I had an appointment with a friend and they rushed me back before my friend even got there. They didn't even sit us together for our services. I would only come back for a pedicure but not a manicure. read more

I am very disappointed in the customer service and experience overall I had last night at Vox. I came in for a gel fill, pedicure, eyebrow wax and Brazilian wax. Minh did a great job with my nails and feet. The very first time I went to Vox for a Brazilian Jenny did it- I recommend her. I was waxed by Nancy last night and it was the WORST experience I've ever had. She pulled the strips very slowly which is very painful AND she did not get all of the hair. At the end of the service there were several areas that were not waxed. I went to the front desk and told the other woman that I was disappointed in the wax because there is still a substantial amount of hair remaining. She wanted to check for herself and I obliged. When she came back to see the work that Nancy did she agreed that it was not done correctly. She offered to re-wax the areas that needed attention. Mind you, Nancy just put me through hell by not snatching the strips off properly so now I have to go through this again. The woman did a decent job cleaning up Nancy's mess but it was nowhere close to what I'm used to. When it was time to pay she refused to discount the price of the wax given the inconvenience and experience. I was in the nail salon for 3 hours and most of that was for the wax. Unfortunately, I do not think I can continue to give them my business. read more

I went to this nail salon 1 week ago to get SNS nails. The staff was very friendly, nice and professional. The place was very clean and modern. I wanted to really like the place. However, my nail tech did a crappy job with my nails. He used a uv lamp which defeats the purpose of getting SNS nails. They look thick and were shaped horribly. And after less then a week, they are starting to peel. I'm so disappointed because this was my first time getting this service and I've heard great things about it. Im trying to get my money's worth and wait another week before I soak them off. I will not be going back for this particular service again. I gave the 2 stars only because the staff was nice and friendly. But they need more practice in my opinion. ETA.. my nails started popping off after only 11days...biggest waste of $45 read more

So it wasn't terrible but it was the same as any other nail salon I have been to. I went because of the reviews saying how clean it was but it was an average salon to me nothing "extra clean" about it. It wasn't dirty I'll give them that. Price was high and they charge for everything. I called ahead for the sns powder price and was quoted 45. Ok. I added tips so it became 55 then I asked for stiletto shape so 5.00 extra for that. Then for some reason I was charged a long nail fee for 5.00. So 65.00 total. A bit pricy, my nails are ok just expensive, hopefully they last. read more

I REALLY wanted to love this nail salon...but will never go back again. The place is new, bright & clean, the location is perfect for me, the staff seem to be very friendly, and they have more color choices than any other nail salon I've been to. BUT the gel manicure I got is quite possibly the worst I've ever received. After 4 days, 2 nails have completely peeled off and the edges on every other nail are lifted. With the prices they charge, I expected much, much better! read more

I have been going to Vox for about a year. During that time staff has changed frequently. Today Feb 24, 2019 I made appointments for a full set of gel nails and a pedicure. I was rushed to the back for the pedicure which was awful. The woman did just about nothing for $30.00. She asked, "Do you want me to cut nails?" I said yes just the ones that need it. When she started to polish my toes I noticed my nails were uneven. She fixed them but didn't do such a great job. She didn't do much to get rid of dryness etc. The whole process took about 20 minutes. That is payment and leaving Vox. Needless to say I am not going back. She rushed, did a lousy job, and was way too rough. Not a relaxing pedicure. When it was time for the nails, I was told I had to wait. I said, Sorry I made an appointment, I am leaving. I figured if the pedicure was awful, I wasn't going to waste money and time on the nails. NEVER GOING BACK read more

Had the manicure from hell. Wanted to get a simple pedi and a sns mani. The polish on my toes is clumped up and even though they were considered to be "dry" the big toe polish is already coming off after a few days. The nail tech even though she was sweet cut me with one of her tools twice and then had asked if I had been bleeding before the services. I asked for a gel top coat and she refused to give it to me. My nails are uneven and the top coat she put on is bubbled. I really hate my nails but I don't think it's fair to go some place else especially after 2 days to spend even more . I really wanted to like it but my services weren't worth $80. read more

BEWARE FUNGUS! AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY OWNER/MANAGER. I got a sns (powder) mani and a regular pedi. It was my first sns I noticed a dark spot on my nail about a week later. I thought that I had a stain from some paint brushes I had cleaned. I noticed it on another finger on the same hand. After about 2 1/2 weeks I started thinking that something might be wrong when it never washed off. I thought perhaps something reacted with the new polish. Using acetone I removed the polish from the two nails. They were greenish. I did a google search and found it was fungus!!!!! I went to them and explained the issue and that I had asked if it was sanitary for people to be just dipping their nails into the jar and was told that's how everyone does it. After much back and forth with the receptionist as a go between with the owner they said I could have a service free of charge. I wanted them to do something to fix my nails (was told to go buy special polish for fungus) and I wanted my money back for the service that gave me the fungus, after all I had paid with cash. I didn't want to go there again. I posted on their facebook explaining everything and requesting that the owner/manager respond to me. No response ever. I waited almost a month. I hate to give bad reviews but beware, not sanitary and horrible customer service. read more

My experience was great. I walked in and only had a 5 minute wait for a gel fill in. I went to All About Nails previously and they completely screwed my nails up, too bulky, did not shape them right, and my nails were lifting. I used to love this place. Tammy is the absolute greatest. They say the accommodate walks ins but they really don't. I went in around 3:30 and they said it would be 45 mins to an hour. I asked if I could leave and go to a shop next door while I waited and the young lady at the front desk said yes and she would call me when there was availability. I went back a little over an hour later to be told that I would have to wait another . Then was told I could have stayed and be seen, even though she said it would be fine if I left and she would contact me. I do not think that is good customer service. read more

I came to this location hoping to potentially have a new location to get my gel mani/pedi done. Disappointed is an understatement!! I called to clarify when they accept their last appointment for the evening on a Friday. I was told 8pm. I arrived at 7:50. Told the receptionist that I wanted to have a gel mani/ basic pedi. She told me that someone would be with me. After 20 mins of waiting she proceeded to tell me that since they close at 9pm no one would be available to do it. Needless to say, this was my first and last time. It's beautiful on the inside, but customer service is subpar. I do not recommend going here. read more

My daughter's nails were poorly done and broke a few days later. They have no written policy to address this and basically the individual nail technicians are deciding how to address customer dissatisfaction in what ever manner that benefits them as an individuals. Unacceptable. Then when you express your dissatisfaction you get attitude as if you have no right to want what you paid your hard earned money for. The nail tech Jenny was so rude my daughter was in tears when she got home. What a sad greedy rude little person Jenny is. But luckily what goes around comes around. I really wanted to love this salon because it's absolutely gorgeous, but my nails look like I did them myself. I had a gel manicure and a pedicure. two ladies were already there getting their toe nails painted while I sat down for mine. She did 2 coats so u can definitely see my my nail bed through the polish. The nail polish doesn't even cover my entire nail, she missed a few sides of my nails and barely got any paint towards the bottom of my nails. The whole time during my gel manicure she rushed, just like she did with my pedi. My cuticles were barely done and the gel manicure could've definitely used another coat. She kept telling me to relax, but how could I when I knew I was gonna drop 65 dollars on a subpar mani pedi. The two ladies who were there before me were still getting the cuticles done during their manicure when I got up to pay. I don't see myself ever coming back here again. read more

The folks here could give a damn about your business. At least, that's how they behave. They're slow (I've never seen young people walk and move so slowly), they make empty promises ("it's only a 20 minute wait") and don't apologize when you're still waiting 50-60 minutes late, their polish is crusty, etc, etc. The spa is relatively new and clean, but otherwise, their customer service sucks! read more

This establishment is highly overpriced. This was my second time coming here and I was given attitude for not wanting to pay an extra $15 for gel polish and choosing regular polish on my UV gel wrap filling which was already $50 (any other salon that does UV gel includes the gel polish), asking for an extra coat of clear polish, for asking her to correct the shape on my nail bc it was crooked and for asking her to fix the nail polish that you could see through - that was just for the finger nail portion. I got attitude for asking for the water to be made hotter and for asking about the different types of pedicures. Apparently when you go there, you need to shut up, let them do your nails however they want to do them, ask no questions, pay your money and get out. Last of all - they segregated all of the customers - all of the black people were sat on one side in the pedicure room and all of the whites people were on the other.
