Amazing experience. I received a gift certificate and this was my first time at VRC. I got the 60 minute with Vince. The 60 minute massage integrated 3 modalities. One of them was hot stone which I loved. I recommend this place if you're looking for just a massage (vs. a day spa situation where there are cozy lounge areas). There are 90 minute and 2 hr options -- the 90 minute incorporates 7 modalities and the 2 hr one has 9. I look forward to checking out those options. Not only did I get the massage, but the knowledge of a place that offers a consistently positive, knowledgeable, and excellent massage experience. I have had massages from Vince and Niel, 60 minute and 90 minute massages. I have to say, the 90 minute massage was heavenly, not too short and not too long and a good mix of techniques. Each time they've asked what areas I'd like to target. Although I haven't made the jump to being a member, the member prices are significantly less expensive, and honestly the price is worth it. The new digs are relaxing, and the waiting area offers water, tea, coffee, and some chocolates. They definitely go that extra mile to make the whole experience worth it. I have a condition called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and every time I have gone to a massage therapist and I told them that I have TOS they have not known what I was talking about. This is a disorder that causes an immense amount of pain in the shoulders, upper back, and neck, and causes numbness in the hands and eventually loss of motor control. That's the point I am at currently. I made an appointment on a Groupon with Vince for a 90-minute massage and when I told him I had TOS he knew exactly what it was and he knew exactly what areas to treat and he even explained the disorder to me in more detail than any doctor has ever explained it. That was the best massage I have ever had in my life. After that massage I decided to sign up for their monthly membership plan which gives you $20 off and it is worth every single penny. Teresa was my therapist. She asked me what I hoped for and she delivered. This was the best 60 minute massage of my life. I have very tight hamstrings IT band and glutes and I feel ready to run. My neck Is always tight from carrying heavy camera equipment and now I feel loose and healed. I am a student and an intern so I tense up a lot when I'm under stress. I was very satisfied with the job Neil did. I got a 90min deep tissue massage.
