    Inside is spacious and classy

What a pleasure it was to eat here! The service is efficient and helpful. The food was excellent. Everything I had was delicious. I love the atmosphere inside and felt like I was at a special place to enjoy my meal. It was not cheap. Be prepared to spend a bit. I will post a picture of my bill but wow it was worth it. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection and it all was presented to be very appetizing. Great place.

I absolutely enjoyed my time here. The ambiance is really great and perfect setting for all sorts of occasions. The customer service was on point and the server came to the table enough times to check on my needs but not so frequent it became bothersome. The food was delicious and I definitely recommend getting a margarita or an old fashion. There are lots of great options on the menu and I want to come back to taste my way through it.

Salad Riviera with Sliced Skirt Steak - salad was great but the skirt steak was a bit dry.

Walking in, the décor immediately stood out--sleek, inviting, and dimly lit with a moody, intimate vibe. We were seated right away on a Tuesday evening without reservations. Our table for four was near the dry-age cabinet, and honestly, seeing all that aged meat was exciting. We ordered the guacamole with fried pork belly, steak fries (two orders because they were that good), three 30-day dry-aged ribeyes (rare, medium rare, and medium), and the Salad Riviera with sliced skirt steak. The pork belly was crispy and tender, and the steaks were juicy, well seasoned, and cooked exactly as ordered. The salad had great texture and balance, though the skirt steak itself was unfortunately a bit dry. The spicy chimichurri was a standout--bright, herby, spicy, and totally addictive. I loved it with the steak and even used it on the salad. Jose was our waiter and was upbeat, attentive, and genuinely made the experience better. Tip: Try the Riesling--it's so good. Between the great steaks and service, we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Reservations are a must on weekends, and parking in front and in the back.

Me and my partner we were looking a new spot to try out for our date night and quickly got a reservation here. Didn't realize we've passed by this location many times before! The food was ok, it gave somewhat of an upscale Mexican restaurant though I've heard this was a fusion. Definitely can't go wrong with ordering steak and their alcoholic beverages have a punch to it which I was not expecting. Can be a little bit too dim but that is the ambiance they're going for!

I give the food a 5/5, the guac being my favorite! My least favorite was the prices for some of the items like a tiny portion of rice was $7!!! That to me is WILD. The soda and juice is like $7 with refills but if you only drink one, it's not worth it. The steak comes with veggies on the side. I wish the side was our choice. I think the space is great, the bar looks great but seemed like they were trying to clean up and shut down early even though customers were there and it was 30 min till close. The waiter was nice and attentive. Would go back for drinks and guac

We came here with some friends on a Sunday. There were a few people on the back patio eating and maybe one other table with people at it. Our server was great. Very friendly and informative. His service 5/5 It does however go very very downhill from there. We got the aged demonico. Our server explained it was one of the best cuts of meat they have. It was FULL of silver meat. It wasn't tender and took a really long time to cut it. We asked for our steak medium rare it came out on a sizzling plate which after a few minutes our server said to put it on our plate so it would stop cooking. (Usually when I've been to these types of restaurants they undercook it so that it can be left on the stone but ok. It was closer to medium by then. The flavor was good...but it was very tough. We got the potato as a side. It was ok. Nothing special and the foil wouldn't come off the potato so half of it was left behind. Steak 0/5 Potato 3/5 Overall it wasn't a cheap meal for what we got. $100 plus tip. Honestly I'd have rather gone to mickeys down the street.

I had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the steak had fantastic, bold flavor and was clearly high-quality meat. However, I was disappointed with the preparation; the cut was not well trimmed and had a bit too much gristle/fat left on it, which made it difficult to enjoy fully. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. That said, the bill was quite steep.

Moody, upscale Mexican perfect for birthdays and big groups, with massive portions and food that absolutely eats, even if the service takes its time. Vue Mexican Grill in Kent is giving dark, intimate, celebration vibes in the best way. This is very much a group dinner or special occasion spot, and we came with a party of 8 for my mom's birthday, which felt like exactly the right move for the space. The ambiance is upscale and moody with dim lighting, a modern music mix, and a full meat display where you can see the cuts before they hit the table, which I loved. It really sets the tone and raises expectations as soon as you walk in. The food is where Vue shines. The elote was a perfect 10 out of 10, creamy, flavorful, and with just the right kick. No notes, would order every single time. The Vue steak was also a 10 out of 10 and truly massive. We're talking basically 50 ounces of steak meant for sharing and absolutely meant for leftovers. It was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. Cutting it was a little challenging simply because of the size, but honestly worth it. Pro tip, this is a meal prep dream. Take it home and turn it into tacos for the rest of the week. The bone marrow came in at an 8 out of 10, rich, savory, and well seasoned. Solid and comforting. The aguachile was another 10 out of 10, bright, refreshing, balanced, and honestly perfection. There wasn't a weak dish on the table. Everything delivered. Service is where you'll need some patience. Things moved slowly. We waited close to an hour to order drinks and food and for everything to come out. It was an early Sunday dinner and the restaurant wasn't at capacity, which made the wait a little confusing, especially with plenty of staff visible in both the front and back of house. That said, everyone was friendly and kind, and the chef coming out to cut the steak tableside was a really nice touch. Not bad service, just slow service. Portions are very large and very shareable, so come hungry and expect leftovers. The cost is on the higher end, but between the portion sizes and the quality, it still feels like solid value, especially for groups and celebrations. Parking is easy with plenty of space, the dining room is large with bar seating available, and the bathrooms have an industrial vibe. The space felt comfortable for a big party. Queer-friendly felt neutral. There were no obvious signals, but the staff was warm, welcoming, and respectful. Reservations are suggested just to be safe, even though it didn't feel overly busy. Walk-ins seemed easy, and large parties were clearly accommodated without issue. I'd come back for the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. Just come with time, patience, and people you actually enjoy hanging out with.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive. I will definitely be going back. The chimichurri was on point and the customer service was great.

I'd been wanting to try this place for quite some time. The reviews are good and the food looks delicious. The evening I showed up (on a weeknight) there were no other patrons in the restaurant. There was a loud alarm going off and a skyjack in the middle of the restaurant. The hostess explained they were attempting to fix the wi-fi. The restaurant is decorated authentically and has a relaxed, southwestern vibe. There were no servers to be seen and the bartender ended up waiting on me while I sat in the restaurant section. She stated the server was running behind but I never saw a single server during my visit. I ordered a dry aged Rib-Eye steak with grilled asparagus. The presentation was wonderful but the steak seemed "off". It was grainy, tough and didn't taste like the usual rib-eyes I've been accustomed to. I chalked it up to the aging process and the dipping sauces and took the rest home. For dessert, I tried the Cajeta Churro Affogato. It was good, better than the steak, and I decided to chalk the visit up to the possibility that they were just having an "off" night. Unfortunately, it wasn't just that. The steak was, indeed, OFF. By the next morning, my stomach hurt so badly that I was doubled over in pain for several hours. I won't go into the other details. I REALLY wanted to enjoy this steakhouse. The ambience was great, the bartender managed to keep the restaurant open, despite whatever was going on...and provide good service so they get votes for that. The food presentation was good...but my steak wasn't. And I am deeply saddened that I had to write this review. Most of their reviews are quite good. I'm not sure I want to go back.

We LOVE this place. So authentic. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is delicious. The ceviche quesadilla is amazing, make sure get the pork belly to go with it. There isn't a bad dish on the menu. The rack of lamb is our favorite to share. We got steaks on this date night. Always very well executed!! Worth the drive to Covington! Promise you won't be disappointed!!

Tucked away in a little strip mall you'll find the Ambience is great, it's nice to find a spot in the Kent-Kangley area that you can find a fine dining escape. Opening the doors, don't be surprised to be welcomed with a smoky rush of aroma as the chef's in the back have been working up all of your steak favorites. With a simple but still plenty of options menu to read from you'll find a Mexican oasis cocktail to pair with your top end appetizers and main course. For Elote lovers, you'll find a good not BEST, but still delicious corn elote, the mayo is FIRE. But the real star of the appetizer show was the fried pork belly that you add on to your guac and chips. Dipped in their sweet chili tiger sauce you'll taste salty and fried deliciousness! Then the main course, my favorite part here is that you can either go all out with everyone in your party ordering an insane entree that will come out RIPPING SIZZLING ON THE ROCK PLATE. Or if you're like us, you find the perfect pair to share with the Matrimino that is perfect for two. A whole delicious red lobster, with a MASSIVE NY STRIP, & your choice of one of their wonderful sides. We went with the loaded baked. Absolutely no room for us with dessert but the churros look great! TREAT YOURSELF TO SOME DINING THAT IS A SPARK ABOVE AND BEYOND YOUR REGULAR OL' APPLEBEES OR HOPS N DROPS. DITCH THEM AND COME HERE!

I have given this place three chances now, and I'm done. The food is not worth the price they charge. Our steaks were overcooked, just like before. They used to have good strong cocktails, but this time they were sweet and no punch. To top it off, they charged us automatic 20% gratuity. We wrote our own gratuity and total down, but when the transaction cleared our card, we saw that they still charged us what they wanted for tip! That is illegal!!! Never going back here again.

I ordered the three tacos, my husband got the Umai Burger, and we added fish tacos plus wings and garlic fries to share. Everything hit the spot! The fish tacos were perfectly battered, and the garlic fries were giving full-on stadium/baseball vibes crispy, garlicky, addicting. Drinks were solid too. The space looks small from the outside, but once you're in, it's actually pretty spacious. The vibe is super fun they host cool evening events like Latin nights and other themed nights, so it's definitely more than just a restaurant. Great food, great energy, and happy hour is worth coming back for. I'm already planning to return soon to finally try their breakfast!

Portion sizes were large and my personal favorite was the seafood chimichanga. Additionally, the chips and guacamole were delicious. Holy Margaritas!
