The property is the Strawberry Cabin - Fire Pit, Fireplace & Pets on VRBO and AirBNB. I fully expect to get trashed for leaving this review as Brenden Hesser attempted to intimidate and he threatened me when I told him I was looking forward to sharing my experience. While this is a cute home, it is not what is advertised and it is not being well maintained. The fireplace never worked correctly and this is you main heat when it's cold (it is a gas fireplace) when the handyman came out to "fix" it, he told me the reason there is no flame is because the glass of the fireplace is filthy on the inside and, unfortunately, there was no way for me to access this to clean it and he did not. The TV didn't work and needed service by the handyman. The cabin is also not remote like the description suggests. The location is nice, it's just not what is in the description. It is a nice sub-division not a remote getaway in the woods. We were also without water for about 2 hours on our second day. The handyman said they have been servicing the water throughout the development all week but no one thought to tell me that prior to booking. The towels also smelled so badly that I had to wash them prior to using them. I plan on reporting this to VRBO and other agencies to hold Hesser accountable and make sure people know what they buy. Realtors in AZ are held to a higher standard. I am thankful Visa protects my purchase. Now I suppose I wait for the promised retaliation.

This was a horrible experience for myself and my family, largely due to Jen, from the property…read moremanagement company. I read the other reviews and noted that everyone commented on how clean the house was, however that was not the case for us. The floor was filthy and had food on the floor behind the table, the dishes were dirty, the blinds in one room were broken so unless you wanted to be up with the sun, the room was unusable. 2 showers leaked water as the molding was broken...Worst of all was the ants all over the kitchen floor and spiders in one bedroom. We could not walk barefoot because of how many there were. Yes, we took pictures of all the issues and sent it to management. They did offer to spray for ants, however there was no non-toxic options and I did not want my family, which includes 3 young children, breathing that in. We just kept killing them. There was no offer to clean the home, fix the broken items or refund the greater than $500.00 cleaning fee, given that we spent hours having to clean the home and rid it of bugs. We even have picture of the bites. All Jen would say was that this would be resolved for the next renter, which does US no good. She also incorrectly stated that we refused to let them fix these issues, which is a lie. Landscapers were there for hours one of the days, the jacuzzi maintenance company was there one of the days. The only refusal was for a toxic ant spray. She was highly unhelpful, borderline rude and arrogant and clearly has no concern for how the renters experience is. The home is a beautiful property, however was not prepared for our arrival at all, despite booking weeks in advance. We were even given the wrong code to enter. The entire experience was stressful and the attitude and response from Jen is what made it that much worse. I will be sure to avoid any property managed by this company in the future.

No one showered after beach and pool for hours. Woke up around 6am Saturday and water was back. Went to talk to customer service aboutthe water issue (Yadira, was great, very nice and understanding). She couldn't do much but will pass on to supervisor Teresa. Once Teresa there, I went back to customer service office. She of course said "no other unit reported water being out all night in same building". I'm sorry but thats not service. After a bit back and forth, she ended up giving us another unit in Phase 2 Coronado, room F803. -2nd night, During reservation over phone, we paid additional $35 per day for 9th person, single rolling bed. That was in the room at Phase 3 when we showed up. When we moved to Phase 2 due to water issue, we were told bed would be delivered later during the day. We went out to beach and pool all day, came back between 9-10pm. Bed was never delivered. We messaged customer service via WhatsApp, they were not able to resolve anything and at 11pm stopped responding even though conversation was not done. At midnight, I'm back in front desk in person, Francisco was very nice and said everyone is gone but he'll check himself if bed was still in Barcelona room and he would get someone to deliver to me...at 1am he send me a message on WhatsApp from his personal number saying bed was not there and that all equipment room its locked overnight and there's nothing he can do. He apologized. My son slept on the floor on Saturday! Next morning, I go in person and talk directly with Teresa...she says "Our service chat stops working at 11pm, they leave, that was our fault, I just focus on your room transfer and I didn't remember the extra bed". That's all she said, nothing else. To a small group or a couple it may be not a big deal...we were 9 in a 3 rooms, 3 restrooms with 2 coolers full of food and snacks for the 5 teenagers. It was a hassle to unpack, pack and unpack again! Having to go and spend part of my vacations in customer service office all to get a low caring attitude from supervisor was just not okay, very dissatisfied this time around. The only thing that they did waived, when checking out Monday I asked for extra hour via WhatsApp...the first reply said it would be $150 for the hour. I replied asking them to check with Teresa or Yadira and they replied by saying it will be waived due to all the inconveniences. Lol Wife and kids loved our first visit so much that we told family. We come back less than a month later and way too many inconveniences. I'm not sure we'll be staying here again, we will check other resorts along the beach.

My wife and I have been loyal Hilton customers for many years, and this was the first time we have…read moreever experienced such poor treatment at a Hilton property. We were traveling from Kentucky to California and had a reservation at Homewood Suites by Hilton Phoenix/Chandler. Unfortunately, our vehicle suffered a major engine failure during the trip, leaving us stranded and unable to continue our travel plans. As a result, we needed to extend our stay. I called the hotel to request an extension and spoke with Assistant Manager Mariana Tumalle. I explained that I could not be physically present because I was dealing with the vehicle breakdown. The hotel already had my reservation, payment information, and card details on file through my booking. Despite this, Ms. Tumalle repeatedly refused to assist us over the phone and insisted that I had to be present in person. My wife was listed on the reservation and was physically at the hotel. She offered to use her own credit card to extend the stay, yet Ms. Tumalle still refused to help. What made the situation even more upsetting was that our son, who has autism, was experiencing a severe crisis at the time. We explained our circumstances and she could clearly see our child's distress, but she showed no empathy, compassion, or willingness to help. My wife then asked if a late checkout could be granted simply as a courtesy so she could calmly gather our belongings while waiting for family assistance with our son. Ms. Tumalle refused, stating that the room was needed and that housekeeping had to clean it. I later called again and spoke with the hotel manager, who was professional, courteous, and understanding. The manager immediately informed me that my wife could extend the reservation. Through a FaceTime call, I provided identification, and the manager confirmed there was no issue with extending our stay. This clearly demonstrated that the situation could have been resolved all along. By that point, however, my wife felt uncomfortable, embarrassed, and unwelcome due to the way she had been treated. Given the stress of our son's condition and the lack of basic customer service from Ms. Tumalle, we decided to leave the hotel. To be clear, we understand that a late checkout is not guaranteed and is provided at the hotel's discretion. Our complaint is not about being denied a favor. Our complaint is about the disrespectful, dismissive, and insensitive manner in which we were treated during a difficult family situation involving a child with a disability. The hotel manager handled the matter professionally and deserves recognition for her excellent customer service. Unfortunately, Assistant Manager Mariana Tumalle displayed behavior that was rude, condescending, and completely inconsistent with the level of hospitality we have come to expect from Hilton. Customer service should always be a priority in the hospitality industry. Guests should never be made to feel like a burden, especially when facing unexpected hardships. I sincerely hope ownership and management review this incident and take appropriate action so that no other family has to experience the same treatment. Based solely on our interaction with Assistant Manager Mariana Tumalle, this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences we have ever had at a Hilton property.

UPDATE - AUGUST 2025 (TWO YEARS LATER):…read more DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL. I stayed here from June 26-29, 2023 while doing training at Aspen Dental. On my last night I woke up with a BED BUG BITE ON MY HAND, pulled up the sheets, and found BLOOD SPOTS ON THE MATTRESS. I went straight to the front desk. The clerk brushed me off, rushed me along, and never moved me to another room. They "cleaned it" like it was nothing. NO MATTRESS ENCASEMENTS. NO PROPER INSPECTION. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. That negligence followed me home. Within months I had a FULL BED BUG INFESTATION IN MY OWN HOUSE. Thousands of dollars gone. Countless sleepless nights. Two years later, I am STILL dealing with the fallout of this stay. And here's the kicker: I am NOT the only one. This hotel has a PUBLIC HISTORY of bed bugs: * Sarin T. (4 years ago): "BED BUG ALERT - live verified bed bug in the box spring, hotel refused liability." * Joseph B. (4 years ago): "BED BUG ALERT - woke up with 10+ bites overnight, management brushed it off." Now my case in 2023. Same story. Same property. SAME COVER-UP. This is a pattern of negligence, not a mistake. And shame on ASPEN DENTAL for knowingly putting trainees in this dump. If you value your health, your sanity, and your home: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. Bed bugs don't just ruin your night. They follow you home and can ruin YEARS of your life.

I was going to wait for my photos back from my wedding to write this review, but I can't take it…read moreanymore! I got married at Modern Farm in March, and it was an incredible experience. If you're considering getting married here, do it! You will not regret it. First, the venue is just beautiful. There's a big white barn with concrete floors (and air conditioning!), which is where we had our ceremony. Plenty of bathrooms, gorgeous bride and grooms quarters. The lawn is huge and green and lovely, and lined with mature trees. It was 90 degrees on my wedding day but it was perfectly comfortable on the property thanks to all the shade from the trees. Parking is limited on site, but there are side streets to park down. The DoubleTree nearby provides a free shuttle. We had 100 or so guests and didn't have any problems. We encouraged carpooling, provided parking maps with Sean's help, and told guests not to block driveways or park too close to stop signs. It's in a residential area, so be mindful of the neighbors. Ok, second, Sean was an incredible host. Having our wedding there felt like having it at a friend's house. Sean was so easy-going and opened the property to us so many times to let us scheme and meet with vendors (many of whom were recommendations from Sean and were outstanding!) On the morning of our wedding, we had a couple acrylic signs that we had made that weren't working with the easels that we brought. Sean said no problem, grabbed some wood, cut it, routed out the middle, and MADE US STANDS for the signs that were absolutely perfect. Can you believe? He's such a good guy, and it's things like that that really make you feel like you're in the right place. Thanks again, Sean and family!

So I emailed them from the "contact us" section on their website asking to view the property then received a response the next day and after a few emails back and forth we scheduled an appointment even though brief. I was told to text them a reminder. So after texting them a reminder on the day of, no response, then later I sent another text while on the way. They called me and told me they have no memory of scheduling my appointment but that they were up the street and would come meet me there. Then told me to just look around myself and call if I have questions. So my fiancé and I were just walking around the venue alone not knowing what's what. We felt like our wedding or business wasn't even important. We get they're probably busy and deal with a ton of people but just a big lack of respect. A wedding is a special time to a couple they want to feel like it's special and not a burden.

I think maybe air bnbs in Arizona should require AC? Idk if that's just me. She treated our group like we didn't know how to operate a very simple thermostat. So much that it took her hours of telling us how to use it, that it was too late for a technician to come. It was so hot, we had to be outside. We had 10 people. 1 was pregnant, and 4 more of us were not drinking. She tried to charge $1,000 for a noise complaint that was never made. Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. This isn't "retaliation" for money. Just standing up for my friends and letting everyone know you're a pathological liar when we have every screen shot and video proof of everything.

Ellie is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with. The beginning of…read moreour stay was okay, not great, but okay. We arrived in late April to a home in Phoenix Arizona that had no working AC. The issue was brought up to Ellie at around 6pm on a Friday. It wasn't until 6:30pm on SATURDAY that we got AC. She argued back and forth for the first two hours asking us the same question "Did you try adjusting the AC?" We spent 60% of our stay (yes, 60%) with no air conditioning. After asking for some sort of partial refund or even FANS, we were not given either. After spending close to $2000 for a two night stay, we requested a partial refund which was denied immediately. Ellie then starts to send VERY unprofessional messages to our group after we left an HOENST review. She lies to Airbnb stating that we were comfortable in the home and that it "wasn't that hot" Try setting your house to 86° in the middle of the day in Arizona and tell me how comfortable you are Ellie. She then writes a review stating that we had a "large shouting party after hours". She was aware this was a bachelorette party, we were all inside by 9:45pm (Quiet hours is 10pm) and we didn't even fill the max occupancy of the home. After we requested a refund, Ellie decides to request $1000 in damages for being noisy BEFORE QUIET HOURS and lies and states it was after hours. I'm sorry but paying for a home we couldn't use for 60% of our stay Is not okay. I hope you learn some hospitality and customer service skills or this business isn't going to make it very far.
