I way overpaid, pre-paid non refundable. This place is a dump. Front lobby and elevator smell terribly. Carpets and floors haven't been updated in many years. The swimming pool has no water. Paint is peeling in hallway. I've stayed in older hotels before, but they were refurbished, clean and lovely. I can hear the people next door talking and there is no ice machine.

We were not informed that we had a discounted rate, nor were we informed that due to the discounted rate, there was a no cancelation policy. Neither of these terms were listed anywhere nor were they mentioned at anytime during the booking. We were under the impression that would could still cancel our reservation based on the confirmation email we have received from booking the reservation. (SEE SCREENSHOT OF EMAIL) We spoke to the front desk manager and the general manager of the hotel. Both were not accommodating and did not honor the cancelation nor refund our money. We called Nov 3, at 12:00Pm to cancel the reservation. That was 51 hours before the date/time of arrival. We requested to cancel the reservation prior to the declared 48-hour notice. We had to cancel due to family emergency, we had a death in the family. When requesting the cancelation, Angela Hentz asked for PROOF of our dead family member. If a family member passed Nov 3 there is no way we'd even be able to secure a death certificate in time for the time of the book reservation. I find it appalling she requested verification of death in our family in order to provide any sort of accommodation. This was very unprofessional and inappropriate. This reservation was barely $150 and I had to go a great lengths for them to consider any possibility of getting our money back. Angela called us back and said there was nothing she could do other than offer us a credit for another nights stay. I did not take this offer because I would never take my business to this kind of establishment. I recommended staying at the best western, or Marriott in the nearby areas. Save ur time and money and earn rewards while staying at another hotel in downtown phx.

They also have two restaurants on the property: Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails (book a month in advance for that one - see our video review under our dining section below) and Eden - their rooftop, outdoor restaurant. Both are great options, though Eden has beautiful views of the pool and of the Phoenix landscape! Finally, they are VERY dog-friendly with free treats and water in the lobby (you also get a polaroid picture of them), as well as bedding and other amenities. Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We arrived in late April to a home in Phoenix Arizona that had no working AC. The issue was brought up to Ellie at around 6pm on a Friday. It wasn't until 6:30pm on SATURDAY that we got AC. She argued back and forth for the first two hours asking us the same question "Did you try adjusting the AC?" We spent 60% of our stay (yes, 60%) with no air conditioning. After asking for some sort of partial refund or even FANS, we were not given either. After spending close to $2000 for a two night stay, we requested a partial refund which was denied immediately. Ellie then starts to send VERY unprofessional messages to our group after we left an HOENST review. She lies to Airbnb stating that we were comfortable in the home and that it "wasn't that hot" Try setting your house to 86° in the middle of the day in Arizona and tell me how comfortable you are Ellie. She then writes a review stating that we had a "large shouting party after hours". She was aware this was a bachelorette party, we were all inside by 9:45pm (Quiet hours is 10pm) and we didn't even fill the max occupancy of the home. After we requested a refund, Ellie decides to request $1000 in damages for being noisy BEFORE QUIET HOURS and lies and states it was after hours. I'm sorry but paying for a home we couldn't use for 60% of our stay Is not okay. I hope you learn some hospitality and customer service skills or this business isn't going to make it very far.

As per them it took 10 hrs to clean the unit which is less than 400 sq ft. Wow. Avoid specially tampa location. Its worst. All units are super tiny.

Everything is about this hotel is top-notch. The beds are super comfy. The rooms themselves must be soundproofed; I thankfully couldn't hear a peep from any room around me. The bathrooms are nice and big, plenty of towels for a weekend stay. Overall the staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. I will gladly stay here again next time I see the Diamondbacks play the Sox.

Classy!I should have cancelled right then, but presumed to believe everything would be fine. The owners also despise children. So, if you have kids and wish to have your own in your wedding party, they will have a problem with that too. Overall, I learned a valuable lesson.
