I had an appointment and or consultation in October 2020. The plan was to prepare a treatment plan and seek the approval for much needed dental work I need. My insurance informed that Dr. George would have to request what was needed to begin my treatment. After 3 weeks, I contacted the Dental office and was told that they are expecting a response for my treatment plan any day now. Another 2 weeks went by. I contacted my insurance provider and I was informed they never received a claim for me. All this time I waited, and all this time I received nothing!! I am disappointed. I will not be returning. I went to Dr. George for the first time today and have to say it was probably the most comfortable dentist experience I've ever had. The doctor and all of his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I had a cavity (ok so we could all do with a little more flossing, I suppose) and was really nervous about getting it filled. Dr. George's 'bedside manner' made what I find to be a seriously stressful experience really not that bad at all. I feel so lucky to have found this place! He didn't even examine my teeth or look at my x-rays, Then he tried up-selling me on things I didn't need done and told me that things I did need done, I should just "let go." Avoid this arrogant guy. I had a recurring problem with toothache. He said it was grinding my top tooth and ground it down a lot. I told him someone had already done that. He did it anyway and laughed at other dentists for not being as smart as him. I later found out the tooth next to it was cracked all the way down, and had it removed. Tooth ache over. But now that tooth doesn't impact on the upper tooth. I said I floss daily but several teeth that have grown close together are impossible to floss and he said there's no such thing, and did it with such force it bled and hurt all day. Excellent dentist. The staff is courteous and professional. Dr. George is affable and warm, but efficient and extremely knowledgeable. He has a certain stealthy style when injecting Novocaine--you don't even know he's put the needle in your mouth until he's already retracting it. He replaced my old amalgam fillings with two composite fillings in the space of 40 minutes. The office is nicely laid out and modern. Jazz radio pumps through the space to keep you relaxed. The fashion magazines in the lobby are pleasant to read. The location is conveniently next to the 145th Street stop on the A and D trains. This was for a time a reasonable dental practice. When a problem developed after a filling replacement, everything went downhill. He sought to alleviate the problem, but succeeded only in exacerbating it. I was in pain when I returned, and informed him that I had taken a strong pain medication to make it to the office. He made it worse by drilling to only partially remove the nerve (who does that?), and leave it exposed to infection without prescribing any pain medication. Yes, I had to find another dentist to perform root canal after trying to clear the infection. I would definitely NOT recommend this dentist. read more

I had two wisdom tooth pulled. I was so afraid I didn't want to do it. Went to see Dr Williams and he told he is good at what he does. He is not lying . He numbed my gums in second and it took less than ten minutes to pull tooth. No pain after. That's what I was most afraid of. His assistant is excellent also . Go to this man he is the best.
