This place acts like they close at 9 the place says 10 you walk in at 9:01 pm and they give you attitude. God forbid you want to purchase another drink or something cus they well ignore you. If you don't want to work till 10 pm then why be there. All three working ladies had a attitude. read more

We come here often. Today the chicken was cold and dry. I think the 7pm employees cut corners and had the meat cooked and waiting for orders instead of making them to order. If i could i would give 0 stars to this place. On 8/6/2021 As I was waiting to order from waba grill in Moreno Valley off cactus and moreno beach. I witnessed 2 employees, 1 male and 1 female (Hispanic, red hair, and lime green acrylic nails) knock over some Togo lids all over the floor. Both employees picked up the lids stacked them up and placed them back. Neither employee washed their hands after and both employees continued to package customers food with the dirty lids. I asked the male employee if they can please not use those lids while packaging my food as well as if they can wash their hands before doing so. The employee said ok and continued to package food without washing hands. As I continued to wait 3 other employees asked what I said. The female employee that knocked down all the lids made it a point to package my meal on the other side of the counter where I couldn't see and grabbed a dirty lid to package my food even after having knowledge that I requested they not use the dirty lid. I took the lid off and request one from the clean stack. On 8/7/2021 I called at 10:30am to speak with a manager. The employee put me "on hold" while consulting with coworkers. A female answered the phone stating she was the manager. I asked for the corporate number and the "manager" stated she did not have it. That I needed to google the number. I stated I did and it did not come up the "manager" said for me to call back in 10 minutes. I waited 15 and called back, the same male employee who stated his name was Adrian said the manager was not there. I asked for the managers name and Adrián told me to hold as he continued to asl coworker what he should say. I could hear 2 other employees telling him what to say. They all came up w the name Araceli. I asked for the general manager and they stated Araceli was the general manager. I asked who was the assistant manager and they stated they did not have one. I asked to speak with the female he kept getting advise from and he wouldn't let me speak with her. Adrian continued with Aracelis number for the complaint. At the time I asked for his name he paused and hesitated then said Adrian. I asked why he paused if that was really his name and he stated "because I can. " This place of business is Unprofessional, unorganized, and messy. I can only imagine how the back of the house is if they so nonchalantly served customers food with dirty lids straight off the floor. I called department of public health as well as filed a report with BBB. Never again will I EVER order from there or give them my business. I ended up calling another waba grill who had the corporate number on the spot how ironic. read more

I just to went to waba grill and ordered 2 chicken bowls with white rice and veggies. Both bowls had rice that was undercooked, the rice was very mushy and felt like baby food almost. I always come here and this never happens but this is disappointing knowing there was nothing i could do about it since i was already home when i checked the food. Came today to get a quick bite for lunch and I didn't care for a packed bowl of rice with some steak that looked like it's been cooking all week dry and tiny pieces. I also had chicken which was so much better and moist. I don't really want to go over much more but for a bowl and a small drink $10 plus it's not worth going back. My 1st and last time going there. It was our 1st ever trying Waba Grill. I ordered online to make things easier. I wanted extra sauces so they charged me .29¢ each (X 5) online. No problem. I ordered curbside pick up. When I arrived, no one would answer the curbside pick up phone line. (They take the phone off the hook so we get a busy signal. They weren't overly busy inside) So I walked in. My order was ready. Not under any heat source to keep warm. No biggie since it only took me a few minutes to get there. (The online order website said my order won't be ready for 27 minutes. Had I waited to pick it up, it would have been sitting cold all that time, not at a safe temperature) Anyways, I look in my bag and see little packets of sauce and thought I hadn't recieved the sauces I paid for so I told them. The cashier had no idea what to say so she called over someone else. The lady tells me the packets ARE the ones I paid for. I said oh, I thought they'd come in little plastic containers. She said no. Unless it says it on the receipt. (Um hello, not my fault they're system doesn't say that.) So I asked, so you charged me but you're giving them away to everyone else? She said yeah. She said because you ordered online. I said, how is that fair? She walked away. I never got rude or loud or disrespectful at all. She just didn't want to deal with it or even apologise. So I asked the cashier, well since I paid for my sauces, I want more but I'm not paying for more when you guys give them away for free. She gave me a handful and I thanked her and left. The sauces didn't even have enough in it to fill a Taco Bell hot sauce packet. And my daughter and I didn't even like the sauce after all that. We prefer teriyaki sauce. They don't use teriyaki sauce. We won't be returning. Sorry. Not sorry. BTW, it wasn't the cashier's fault. But the other lady (asian, manager?) was rude and unhelpful and didn't solve the issue or give me a refund for the sauces I paid for.. Not good customer service. read more

I had my boyfriend pick up my order and they got the order wrong. It was supposed to be a steak bowl with all meat and white rice. I ended up with a bowl with brown rice and vegetables. I like the food here, I do but seriously how do you get that wrong. read more

I've been to many Waba Grills and this one is fine. It's clean and food tastes like it's supposed to. It's kind of small inside and seating is limited. Probably take out for now on. The cashiers are OK. Not very friendly but average. We've been here 3 times and the portion size for the protein seems to change every time. The first time we got way more chicken then the last time. Ordered lunch we chose the family deal it's $19.99 for grilled chicken, rice and veggies. It fed four adults and two children and we still had some left over. Parked in the spot for curbside pick up and called them, did not even wait a min. Before they were outside with our order. Everything tasted like always and packed right. I was there on time for my pickup...very rude no customer service...walked in and the workers having long conversation so I assumed to just take a seat in front...finally she asked after waiting a long time without any of the workers greeting a customer...I got home rice was not fully cooked and food cold... it was not fresh...I was very disappointed because I bought three bowls... Alright to start off this place made me do the switch from flame broiler to WaBa grill. The food is always fresh and please don't let me get started on work staff, I feel at home everytime I come here ,they are always with great attitude and it seems to me they are trained to give out great customer service. When I walked in I was welcomed by both the cashier and the dude grilling the chicken in the back, A+ for that. The cashier was busy with another customer that someone from the back came to help right away. Clean restaurant so whoever is keeping it clean is doing a good job, I've seen other Waba's dirty and the cashier on their phone but not this one. My food was ready quick, the food taste great, rice is cooked well. I'd recommend it to my difficult grandma who's always complaining about every small detail in a restaurant. read more

Very clean place , very kind staff. This is my local waba so I come here often, the chicken, steak, veggies all amazing. My only issue is the now, recently their quality has dropped specifically in their dumplings whEn they first came out, they were very well made, very tender and delicious. This place is stingy with their portions, they also send coupons and don't allow substitutions. All I wanted was to substitute for tofu and I even offered to pay a bit extra. First time here and it was yummy. I had their current promotion, a chicken bowl with a drink for $7. I added the veggies for $1 more. Pretty decent price for the amount of food.
