Our party of five were hot and thirsty on this humid evening, and the air conditioned Wachusett Brew Yard beckoned. The Brew Yard is located very close to Polar Park, the new home of the Worcester Red Sox (The Woo Sox), and much is being done to revitalize this area. We really liked the vibe of this place, with tall ceilings and minimalist furnishings. Our bar tender was fast, helpful, and more than happy to turn one of the TV channels to the MLB Red Sox game which was in late innings. We each ordered a beer, ranging from a summer blueberry ale to a he lite beer, to a stout. They were cold, refreshing and a seeming necessity on this "Wicked Haht Bahston Night". The Wachusett Brew Yard is nest to the new Worcester Public Market, a "multi-vendor, food-oriented marketplace in the European tradition." Earlier in the evening, I tried the Pakistani Dumplings here, and really enjoyed them. However, the food court closes before the Brew Yard closes, meaning you can't get any food as the Brew Yard is for drinks only. So if you have a later night munchies, this may not be the optimum choice.

Swing in here after seeing it open driving thru Kelly Square. Great new space, loving the Brew Bus Bar concept. It's got all the Wachusett beer favorites and some of the new cider flavors. Gonna be a great place to hang out once the new Woo Sox ball park is up and running. It's super new right now but it'll be a wicked awesome craft beer destination in Worcester. Edit: Gawd damn you Yelp, let me change the wording in my review. It's supposed to be "Swung in here..."

We visited the Worcester location next to Prime market and what a treat! They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar was in an Airstream which looked supercool and the beer menu was well rounded with lots of options. The beer was perfectly cold on a nice hot day and it was nice to head over to the market to get food and snacks.

It seems that I found my soul here!

We went there with our children and 2 other families. I felt compelled to leave a review. Firstly, we are all professionals and our industries have been impacted be the pandemic as many others have. That's said, We arrived sat ourselves and read the instructions on a laminated paper on the table instructing us to scan a QR code to view the menu and place our order. Got it... No problem. When we didn't see anyone come to our table one of us went to the bar and inquired about drinks. We were told that we had to order them there. Got it.... No problem. As we were placing our orders we were prompted to add a tip. At least two of the 3 families added a 18% tip. Which is fine except no ever came to our table. Two of the 3 families received their orders an hour later. The response was that the tickets got stuck in the printer which we totally understand, things happen right... here's where things went south. My friend asked for his pre-paid 18% tip back since we had not received service from anyone up-to that point. There was a guy who we think was a supervisor he came to the table and in front of everyone embarrassed him by saying "this is a first, here's your 2.70 tip back" Now, all three of the families ordered close to 100.00 worth of food each without counting the beer and kids drinks. So the returned tip was inaccurate but that's beside the point. The fact that this guy came from behind the bar and voice fully expressed the return of the tip In front of the rest of the people at the table speaks volumes of the lack of professionalism of the people hired to work for WBC. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident and I hope he doesn't represent the leadership or ownership of this establishment. The sad part for us was that we were excited to go there because we are consumers of WBC and love the beer. Hopefully someone will look in to this.

I first visited these guys when they were operating out of a small barn, and seeing the evolution to this 53,000 sq ft, $18.5M facility is seriously impressive. They follow a "direct-to-consumer" model -- selling everything right out the front door -- and they've mastered it. I've been here many times over the years and go whenever I have the opportunity, which says everything. Tried some of their standout beers -- King Julius is the gold standard, consistently ranked among the best beers in the world. Their flagship Julius is just as impressive, with massive notes of mango and peach -- incredibly well balanced and executed. There are usually food trucks on site, which adds to the experience -- you can enjoy a fresh pour while picking up your take-home haul. Fun fact: On BeerAdvocate's all-time Top 250 list, Tree House often has 30+ beers featured, something almost no other brewery can match. Overall, some of the best beers anywhere -- truly unparalleled and absolutely worth the visit. Saluti.

Whenever we go out to eat I always suggest coming here because I look forward to trying new things but also love sticking to some of my favorites like the g Vegas nachos and southwest bowl. They also have the best fried pickles around. Even when the restaurant is busy, the servers are attentive and friendly. I love the ambience and that they have local artists Work posted all the time. Gardner Ale House at Moon Hill Brewing gave us a nice evening of good music, cold brews, good food,…read moredollar oysters! (Apr 2026). We came here to try out their Monday Blues, and happened on their Monday Buck-a-Shuck oysters! We found a long room with over 70 seats set up at tables for four that looked combine-able, about 20 seats at the bar and at 2-seat hightops, both rooms with a wall of windows. The band set up in the bar window, but sit where you like, we found that we could hear the band everywhere! There's also a small enclosed outdoor patio with about 30 more seats at umbrellaed tables. The Jim Atkinson band is a foursome of Boston-area musicians that has been cranking out great blues, rock, & roots since 2017. We loved them, especially enjoying the creative keyboard and a real live sax! Their music selection was amazing, more their favorite solid blues than old-standbys, so we didn't recognize every song. But that's real music :-) The $1 New England oysters were big and juicy! They started at 4pm before we got there, and they still had plenty for us after 7pm! They say the variety changes with availability. These were not overly salty. This was dinner for us, and we started with their hot-skillet "Mexican Corn Dip" with zingy pico de gallo salsa and fresh crisp corn tortilla chips. We got a "warm energy" bowl of quinoa, fresh tart cranberries, baby spinach, roasted sweet potato, and goat cheese, flavored with some scallions and garlic-butter. Huge, delicious, and very satisfying! The Fish 'n Chips was a full-foot-long full of their own Moon-Hill-beer beer-battered haddock, piping-hot fries, fresh crunchy coleslaw, with tartar sauce. Yep, Huge, delicious, and satisfying! We tried their parmesan-garlic wings, but that wasn't our favorite. They were ok, but not crispy which we expected. Came with crunchy celery and creamy bleu cheese. Of course we leaned on their in-house Moon Hill brewery for several dry IPAs, their luscious Candy Mountain blueberry sour, (which could have been colder), and a very tasty non-alcohol Blueberry (Not)-tini, a bubbly beverage crafted with "Reàl Blueberry Purée", fresh lemon juice and lemonade. This is a nice community bar, brewery, restaurant, and patio. We are already looking forward to their big Octoberfest!
