[[HIGHLIGHT]]Gorgeous spot by the water in the Tourister Mills complex.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We visited The Guild at sunset and enjoyed sitting outdoors in the Adirondack chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is great as well with tables that seat 4 and large umbrellas to provide shade.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Beers are really good and I tried the Summer Berry Lemonade on-tap cocktail from Rhodium Spirits and it was perfect on a summer evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a beautiful view of the harbor from the patio and the Adirondack chairs and the vibe is relaxed and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoor seating is large and attractive - I love converted brick factory spaces![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly, and although we didn't order food, the nachos that were delivered to a nearby table were huge and looked absolutely amazing!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Guild has an amazing beer hall and brewery on the water in Warren.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walk in and pick a table, we suggest near the windows inside if you're visiting during cold weather, or outside if it's a day to enjoy the fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is very laid back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Grab your drinks at the bar, and your food at the food bar- let them know your table number and go sit back and they will bring your food to you. For drinks they have local craft beer & seltzer. Our party had the Apple Pie Seltzer, which I highly recommend, and some IPA's, which I'm told were very good We all split some flatbread pizzas and buffalo chicken dip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a really cool place to pop into if you're in the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a private function room, that would be great to host a party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lentz_explore

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The views are lovely especially when sitting outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also love how many options there are for non beer drinkers like myself, the summer berry lemonade is my favorite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, they have trivia nights on Tuesdays which is always fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Guild is a Beer Hall & Brewery located in Warren RI. They make their own beers and you can experience other local beers there too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is located in a beautiful location, right on the water![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lobster roll was surprisingly delicious! I was not excepting such a great lobster roll at a brewery! The lobster roll comes in a classic toasted brioche roll with remoulade sauce. They give you a generous amount of lobster meat, which is fresh and tender. As you can see in my picture they do give you a full claw! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed going to The Guild, I loved enjoying my lobster roll and beer while watching the sunset[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good food, great service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A beautiful view of the Warren River.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a patio and indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of parking too!

    Nice setting.

Last night I took my husband to the Guild in Warren for a relaxing sunset dinner overlooking the water. The restaurant is inside an apartment complex with lots of parking and places to walk. As we walked in, we saw the note saying, grab your own seat and then order at the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got a nice table outside on the terrace overlooking the water[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and I went inside to order. We got a couple of IPAs, a charcuterie plate and a salad. The beers came within a few minutes and the food shortly thereafter. The food was very good. The cheeses and cured meats were not bad for a beer hall and the salad was fresh and tasty [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great place for a nice relaxing meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A place we frequent , so I don't know why I never reviewed ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a beautiful spot to begin with. So pretty outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a ton of great beers on tap , as well as some ciders and seltzers. There is something for everyone. The highlight in my opinion is the food. We have eaten here quite a bit and have never had anything we didn't love. Then we got nachos. Oh my god. These were the best nachos I've had in my life. One caveat .. they are huge. Hubs and I split them and had plenty left. They were loaded with beans , beer cheese , regular cheese , delicious pico , and some amazing lime crema. I will be back back again for those nachos. We sat at the bar and they did a great job making sure our drinks were full and food Delcious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a separate area also for rental space , i think it's a great spot to have an event.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed our visit and will be back again. Cheers !

Came in for dinner and trivia with friends. The trivia was fun, the food was tasty, the beer list wasn't my style so much. The view was beautiful especially at sunset. We sat at the tables and there is no service so you order from the food window and they bring it out to you based on table numbers. The layout for trivia was really nice. The bathroom was clean and a good size. I wish there were more TVs since it was playoff season but it's ok.

Came here for the first time, and it was good. The beer was good, I tried a stout and I enjoyed it a lot! The falafel sliders and French fries were delicious. The fried cauliflower was a bit lacking, but I did enjoy the tofu that came with it. My husband tried the pot pie and the nachos. He said the pot pie was just okay, the nachos were good but super filling. When we first arrived it wasn't busy, and we were happy to grab a table with no one around. It quickly filled up with families with kids, and while I don't mind kids, the table near us had a child who threw their water glass, and then their iPad three times. It kind of killed our ambiance a bit, so I'd love to come back, and especially sit outside along the water and hope for a better time!

I know some people love these trivia nights but I don't really care for it. But by the time I got here - which is pretty far off my route - and found a parking space (oy vey!), it was too much hassle to move on. So I stayed and tried hard to tune it out. I would probably have stayed longer if it wasn't going on, but my lack of patronage is well outweighed by the people here - the place was packed! I had a Cobb salad for dinner and a pour of their kolsch beer. The salad was good though to call it a Cobb is a stretch. Tomato confit? Red wine vinaigrette? At least there were pieces of blue cheese in there and the roasted chicken was tasty. The beer was also delicious. They have wifi. I did not spot power outlets. The view of the east bay is spectacular and I'd have sat outside except mosquitoes believe that I'm delicious. Much like this beer. [Review 17903 overall - 62 in Rhode Island - 1424 of 2022.]

A mixed review here. Considering we went for brunch today,…read moreJuly 5th, I think we were sat pretty quickly. The place has a really nice, comfy decor. One of the hostesses was an absolute doll. We loved her. We sat for just a little while waiting for appetizers, and my wife discovered that her ASS REALLY HURT, badly, and mine was getting bad too, due to my lack of natural cushion back there. My wife stood up and never sat back down. She noticed a 4 top leaving and asked the hostess if we could move, completely unaware of the challenges this can pose the crew during the course of business (changing table numbers in a POS isn't always as easy as it sounds). But she agreed it should be ok. They were busy, too, and I heard that they had some staff call in "sick" after a wild 4th of July. So they took care of us and I was really grateful for that. My Mexican Corn Chicken Sando was ok... the flavors kind of got mixed together on a way that it didn't really taste that awesome to me. The wife loved her Huevos Rancheros, despite the hair she found in it (after having them change our seats, she was too embarrassed to say anything about that) and the tortillas that were so Chewy, they were inedible, she really enjoyed it. Our daughter really really liked the poutine a lot. All in all, I wouldn't rush back here, but I think our main complaint was the accursed seating. Aside from the high top, man, on the regular seats you're just sitting on a flat block of wood. McDonald's has more comfortable seating, and McDonald's intentionally makes the seating slightly uncomfortable so you don't just sit there forever, taking up a table. Anyway, it was alright. Every restaurant has its difficult days (and it's difficult customers!).

It was…read morefounded by business partners Bryan Benedict, Jeff Goodno, Ben Estes, Ted Pease and Jean Lombard. Benedict left a career in IT in order to turn his craft beer hobby into a full time job. He worked as a sales rep and brand manager for a wholesaler before becoming the director of marketing and sales at Connecticut-based Beer'd Brewing Company. He dreamed of opening his own brewery, so he partnered with Goodno, who had 15+ years of experience working for breweries such as Taproot, Victory Brewing, and SOME Brewing. Estes, who had formerly worked at Proclamation Ale Company and the Guild, was hired as the head brewer. Pease and Lombard, who had experience with tax laws and other skills, were the last partners to come on board. They set up shop in a former auto body. Benedict chose the name "Moniker" to strip away the focus on brand egos and instead focus entirely on the taproom experience, the community, and the beer. The brewery became notable for their wide repertoire of beer styles, even earning praise from Hop Culture Magazine. In May 2026, Moniker purchased Ravenous Brewing in Cumberland with plans to rebrand it as "Moniker North". I recently visited Moniker Brewery while I was passing through Providence. They had been on my list for a while. The place was small and cozy but inviting with a decent amount of indoor seating. There is also patio seating outside, but it was a little too wet and chilly on the day of my visit. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the draught menu. There was a nice eclectic mix of styles. I ordered a sampler flight which included "L.H. Czech Dark" (Tmavé), "Midnight Rodeo" (Dark Mexican Lager), "Blinded by Nostalgia" (IPA), "Stay Cool Drink Moniker" (Hazy Pale Ale), and "It's Called Sightseeing" (Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tripel). The latter was my favorite! Between the eclectic mix of styles and the friendly space, I really enjoyed my visit to Moniker. I look forward to when they open their new larger space.

The two met when they both worked at a brewery in Honolulu. Once returning to Rhode Island, the couple decided to open their own gastropub in Stephanie's hometown of Westerly. Dubbed "The Malted Barley", the business focused on craft beer paired with gourmet pretzel sandwiches. The pretzel dough is made fresh daily, and every pretzel is rolled and stuffed by hand. After much success, the Bennetts looked to franchise their business model. After signing a licensing agreement with investor Ron Koller, a second Malted Barley opened in Providence in March 2016. In March 2023, the Bennetts closed the original Malted Barley in Westerly so that they could focus on their flower farm, Echo Rock Flowers, as well as their family. The Malted Barley in Providence continues to run under the ownership of Ron Koller. I visited the original Westerly location of the Malted Barley in 2014 while I was on a craft beer bus tour. I was so impressed with their excellent craft beer selection and delicious gourmet pretzels that I decided to make the gastropub a stop on my craft beer bachelor party bus tour three years later. I was very sad when I heard that the original location closed down, but I took comfort in knowing that a second location still existed in Providence. I recently visited the Providence location for lunch while I was passing through the area. When I walked in, I immediately smelled the freshly baked pretzels. For food, I ordered the "Barley Bacon Beast Burger" (75 % beef 25 % bacon patty, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, more bacon w/ a side of ketchup) on an Everything Pretzel. It really hit the spot. I must add that these pretzels are essentially a hybrid between traditional Bavarian pretzels and New York-style bagels: salty and crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. While looking over the beer menu, I was surprised to see that the Malted Barley now brews their own house beer in addition to guest taps. I ordered a taster flight that featured Malted Barley's "Banana Bread" (Traditional Ale) and "Monster Juice" (Hazy IPA), as well as Long Live Beerworks' "Invisible IPA" (hazy IPA) and Phantom Farms Brewing's "Coarse Woody Debris" (Saison). All of the beers were very refreshing and paired nicely with my pretzel sandwich. I still miss the original Westerly location, but it's nice to know that you can still find delicious pretzels sandwiches paired with craft beer just a little further away.
