As a result, I've had appointments with many of the women here and they all have done a fantastic job. The usual visit goes: I do a terrible job explaining what I want exactly (usually accompanied by a picture or two), they somehow decipher it and make their own suggestions, and I walk out loving my new color (and cut but I usually just trim a couple inches so nothing special there). Everyone's super nice and they're good at reading whether or not I want to chat or just have an hour or two of relative silence/escape from my hectic life. They also always suggest cheaper ways of doing what I want and I'm grateful for that (and it always looks amazing). They also always take into account my infrequency of visits and suggest things that will take less upkeep which is also appreciated. Picture is just the most recent haircut and color; sorry it's just half my hair but it might give you an idea! The only problem is that parking is a nightmare in the area. There are usually some free meters in the area (try a street down from the salon, next to the UDF) but if you're getting something that might take more than two hours, those two hour meters aren't super helpful.

I had never had my hair colored and usually got it cut at Great Clips. I trusted Claudette completely and asked her to do whatever she thought would look good. BOY did she do an amazing job! The result was my profile pic. After that, I tried to save a few $$ by going to a Groupon place. It was OK - but once the highlighting was repeatedly done, I was essentially a blond. NOT COOL. So I returned to Claudette and have never stopped going. Every session with her is perfect. Always something a little different and she always takes her time and does things right. NO SHORT CUTS. I highly recommend anyone wanting a great cut and color to go here. If you're unsure of what you want, trust Claudette to know what to do and to make you look FABULOUS!

The stylist held a conversation with my daughter, which is something that can be hit or miss when you take a kid to salon not specifically geared toward children. The interior was welcoming. Albeit what we asked for was rather simple; a trim with some layers. A blow dry and style wasn't included but when you're looking for quick and cheap, that's not a deal breaker. Well, I was happily surprised and am an now a convert. The salon is clean and well kept, and it's very fuss free but still nice. The front desk staff are wonderful and very helpful. Cassie in particular is fantastic. She takes time to listen to what you would like and has very constructive insight as to what might look better and the thing I love most is she is as creative as can be. I hate having the same color each time and she has delivered amazing cuts and color every time.
