New York, Astro and Chili Cheese dogs.
    Deron L.

I decided to pop into WOW because I was in the area and saw the positive reviews. I'm so glad I did! I got three dogs (Chili Cheese, New York and Astro) and some tots - all of the dogs were delicious! I'm a bit of a hotdog traditionalist, so I took a flyer on the Astro dog and it ended up being my favorite. The pickles and hot Cheetos complimented the dog perfectly. In addition to the food, the place is sparkling clean, which I appreciate. Also, the prices are very fair - especially for elevated dogs. At a time when everyone is looking for an opportunity to overcharge for everything, it's refreshing to actually get something for a fair price. I would encourage everyone to come out and support this locally owned business. You can tell these guys take pride in what they do and their service backs that up.

If you're in the 77379 and are wanting a hot dog at a good price point - stop by Wacked Out Weiner! The place is a family-run shop and they have multi-dog meals. The toppings are unlimited which means if you want brisket, slaw, and other options added to your dog - it's the same price as if you just added mustard. The place is small and relatively quiet. The staff is very friendly and they are more than happy to make suggestions and walk you through the options to dress your dog. I would defiantly return again!

Decided to come by after a 3 day fast and was craving a hotdog. It was my first time and the environment is very subtle and quiet. The workers were very nice to explain the menu and options if needed. I decided to get the astro dog and Totchos. The dog was very good, the garlic pickles added a very nice touch to the dog. My only issue and this is just personal to me, but the chili was slightly sweet. The totchos which had chili, cheese, salsa and sour cream were ok to be honest. Again the chili was sweet and the salsa that was added was throwing it off in my book. But that's just me and I won't give negative criticism for a personal preference, because someone else might like it! Definitely give this place a try if your in the area. The very nice lady at the front of the counter said their Mac and cheese dog was the most popular, may try that one next!

Great spot! Had a couple of Chicago dogs and they were top notch!! Two dogs, chips and drink for less than 10 bucks! Gotta love it!! See you guys again soon!!

This is a basic counter-service space (former Quisno's) featuring a wide selection of toppings on premium hot dogs. Special combos like the Elvis (peanut butter, banana, honey), a Cajun dog, a Mac/cheese dog, etc and standards like chili cheese or Reuben. Or you can build your own from an,extensive list of toppings. Very kid friendly. Modest dining area with simple tables. Fountain drinks, etc. My grandkids really enjoyed it.

My kids wanted a hot dog, so I obliged - even though I don't care for hot dogs. Luckily - they did serve Nathan's which made the meal easier to swallow (skinless). I opted for sausage instead. The menu was a bit overwhelming, but the employees working were eager to help and explain the options. The restaurant was empty when we arrived - albeit not far from closing time. It was pretty easy to find - it's right off Louetta at Kuykendahl where the old Quiznos used to be - in front of Goodwill. Easily accessible and ample parking. The price was a bit expensive, but so is everything these days. The reason for three stars: the way the food was set up left me with pause. It seemed like a breeding ground for issues if not kept up with accordingly. The two staff members working were extremely pleasant and professional and VERY engaging, which was a huge plus. Still... there was something about the inside of the establishment and the way the food was set up that left me with pause... Not a huge fan but not a bust either - my kids enjoyed it.

Love this place. Wonderful dog house with classic Chicago style dogs and a plethora of unique options. I had the Chicago Style and the Frito pie dog. Both were excellent and we switched the chips out for fries... awesome. The owners were working the counter and very nice and welcoming. Can't wait to try the brisket macaroni and cheese and a couple other non-dog options. Service was quick and with appreciation . I highly recommend Whacked Out Weiner.

I didn't have high hopes walking in. I figured it would be another expensive "gourmet " hot dog place with a menu laced with things I would never eat. I'm so glad I was wrong!! The dog (or wiener) menu was simple. A couple of loaded options and a couple classic ones. My favorite hot dog is a Chicago dog, and that is what I ordered. Two of them. My wife got the Frito pie. We ended up with a three dog combo which included three dogs (obviously) 1 bag of chips, and one drink. My wife had a bottle of water on her, so this worked out perfect. $10.99?!?! Are you kidding me? That's cheaper than one dog at one of those other places! The wieners were great, fully loaded with great toppings, and a Nathan's frank. While I would have preferred Vienna Beef, Nathan's is nothing to complain about! The only negatives for me is they have tots instead of fries, and they put the mustard on the top of all the other ingredients. I had mustard EVERYWHERE!!! I will definitely be back!!

WOW!!! And I don't just mean Wacked Out Weiner. What a great place to enjoy a classic hot dog in a fun and creative flavor blast. First time here and we all shared 5 different hot dog combos that were all incredible. We started off with the Elvis which sounded a bit sketchy with peanut butter, sliced bananas, honey and Weiner dust. What an incredible flavor explosion. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was as were my daughter and son-in-law. Next was the Junkyard Dog, with coleslaw, onions, jalapeños, baked beans, bacon and WOW hot sauce and WOW BBQ sauce . Another hit. Let me conclude by saying the owners was super friendly and helpful as was his crew. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend hitting this place up with your friends, family or your local softball team for a great dog experience!!!! Well Dome WOW

The food was so good. I would come here again. There's so many different options to choose from. The price is really good for the quality and amount of glizzies you can get. We went late on a saturday there was only one other person there. The guys who served us were super nice. it gave "hole in the wall" vibes. 10/10

Gabriel has A very professional and respectful manner of himself I asked him to pick me his three favorite hotdogs he did they look delicious. I tried them and they were bomb! store was very clean 10 out of 10 overall for service and food will be coming back my new favorite hotdog spot.

Great food and service. This is in the old Quiznos on Louetta, so plenty of parking but small seating area. They just opened, so it probably took a little longer than it will after they get down their rhythm. The menu is pretty limited to hot dogs and other appetizer type foods (backs, tots) that can be customized to whatever toppings you want. We enjoyed it and will be back!

Support local! This place is super clean, worker-owner is very friendly and welcoming, she even gave me a thrift recommendation as I'm new to the area. Not even to mention the delicious and very reasonably priced food. I live 40 minutes away but I'll be back!

Their Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich is a must-try and is perfectly crispy, spicy, and loaded with flavor. The heat is just right, and the slaw and pickles balance everything out beautifully. We also ordered the onion rings, and wow...massive, golden, and super crunchy. No soggy bites here, just straight-up fried perfection. The menu has something for everyone too with burgers, hot dogs, and loaded tots that'll keep you coming back. You order at the counter, find a seat, and they bring your food right to your table. It's a great setup for families, but still has a cool, casual atmosphere with a solid drink menu for adults. Cold beer, great food, fast service, and plenty of space...what more could you want? If you're in or around Spring, this is definitely a go-to spot for a quick bite that never feels like a compromise.

The counter is connected to the bar so the bartender was taking orders, making drinks and she was the only person working the front of the house. They have a decent beer menu and the cocktail was ok. We got the cowboy and das brat along with chili cheese fries. The bad: the chili came from a can and tastes like it, which is sad because they have chili cheese dogs with this chili on it. The good: the hotdogs are actually really good and not too expensive. I would order the hotdogs again. We went on a Friday night around 6 and there were a few people in the restaurant but it wasn't busy.
