Jackson at Wade Ford fully lied to me. I called about a car their website advertised - he said it was not yet spoken for. I asked him 4 times to make sure because it is a rare color for the model and we were going to be driving all the way from Birmingham to get it. He swore to me that the car was not spoken for, that I was the first one to call about it, and that he noted in the computer that it was on hold for me. He said we had an appointment for 9:15 am, Memorial Day. We drove 3 hours from Birmingham, on our day off, with CASH in hand to buy the car, only to learn that he had LIED. They didn't know we were coming, the car is already sold, and the folks in the dealership were all clear on this. Wade Ford, you need to get your people to operate with at least some integrity. The transmission on my F150 was blown. Even though Wade Ford knew they couldn't look at my truck for 2 weeks, they required me to drop it off to "wait in line" at the dealership. After having my truck for 3 weeks, they came back and said they were unable to diagnose the problem. Throughout the 3 weeks, I had to call the dealership multiple times for updates (they never proactively contacted me with updates). Thereafter, I took my truck to a different dealership (Hardy Family Ford) and they had the transmission problem diagnosed in less than one week. I've bought 3 different vehicles from Wade Ford, but my next one will be from Hardy Family Ford! read more

I purchased a car on April 4th. The buying experience wasn't the worst but still your typical back and forth let's see what we can do, let me ask the manager etc etc. fast forward to today and I still haven't received my tag. The temporary tag expires on the 19th. I called last week to ask them what the situation was and was told the mail is slow and that I should go to the tag office to deal with it, but that they would look into it and get back with me. I never received a call back. I called again yesterday and asked again. Was told they would get back with me. And never did. So today I decided to go up to the tag office to see what the situation is so I can get my tag. An hour and a half of my day I had to spend on this. They told me at the tag office that the tag was applied for on May 8th. The day I called them to ask where it was. I contacted Wade Ford again today and was hung up on once after asking for a manager and then put on hold for 10 mins and then sent to the same voicemail from finance that never called me back. Horrible customer service and a complete lack of doing their job! And not willing to own up to it or make it right! I will never buy another car here again! read more

Our Salesman Sayed was a phenomenal asset to our car leasing experience. We have yet to have a positive experience leasing with Ford (Hennessey on Industrial)... Until now. Sayed worked with us to find the perfect vehicle. We knew what we wanted before we came in and it only took us once to explain it to Sayed before he stared working to find us the perfect car. The first vehicle that was brought in was missing an incredibly important part of what we wanted (that we did not mention to Sayed). We expressed our disappointment in the vehicle not having the components we wanted and we were met with support and professionalism. Sayed quickly ordered a vehicle that met every single specification we wanted. We received the car in a matter of days and cannot believe how professional everything was. I went to Wade Ford with my son because an unusual sound was coming from under his 2008 Ford Mustang. We dropped the vehicle off on a weekday morning, never received a call regarding what, if anything was wrong, so we decided to go back because it was almost closing time. The gentleman handling service said the problem was fixed, however, the vehicle needed 4 new tires. He'd said the tires had some smooth spots (I believe he used different terminology), but I told him we'll schedule at another time to have the tires replaced. He then went to send for the car, however, it could not be located. We waited over 30 minutes for them to find the Mustang. Once we left, we realized the car was making the same sound. We brought the car back minutes later and the service person told us the sound is from the tires. I specifically asked before leaving about the sound coming from under the vehicle and I was told that had been resolved. A few days later, we went to a tire place where I purchase tires for my vehicle to get a 2nd opinion. They rotated and checked the pressure on the tires, and stated that new tires were not needed. They did notice a few smooth spots on one side which came from my son skidding when slamming on his brakes to avoid an accident and the car slightly tilted sideways. The tires weren't of enough concern to require replacement. I'm glad we got a second opinion and I will NEVER go to Wade Ford again. A red flag went up when the car could not be located and we were never given an explanation. Then to be told all 4 tires needed replacement adds another level of dishonesty. read more

Bought a 2001 Taurus. Never had problems out of it, so I give the 5 stars on that. Then bought a 2000 Ranger. Again, no problems, 5 stars. Then 2014 Fusion. A couple of weeks after the warranty ran out, the power steering went out. Took it in, it would fix its self when you turned the car off and restarted it. Finally it was doing it when I was at the dealership. They kept the car for 4 days I believe. They did provide me with a car to drive also. Stated problem with power steering was water on a relay of some sort that got wet because of a leak in the seal of the windshield. After reading all the complaints about Fusions and power steering, I did go to Ford directly and they refunded me the nearly $700. I also have to state that they did remove the labor charges at the dealership. 4 stars so far on this one. 4 months later, power steering goes out again, and they say it is something totally different this time. Called Ford Motor Company and they offered a few hundred, but it would be 2k out of pocket. I drove it for 3 months, stopping to shut it off when the steering went out, praying it didn't go out when I was in a curve, Finally it went out and didn't come back. Not wanting to spend the money to repair a car that I only had owned for a little more than 2 years, I got pre-qualified to purchase a car, and decided to go to Wade and give them a chance to have a happy customer. I am happy with the trade in they gave me and I am ok with the price I paid for the 2016 Toyota Corolla I purchased. Gave up on Fords. But while waiting for the sale to complete, I had to listen to an employee talk very loudly about his political beliefs. When the car was taken around back to be "detailed" it was brought to me with caked dirt still on the grill. There was garbage in the console also. During the final paperwork, I was asked if I wanted to keep my tag. I said yes, but the man told me my car needed emissions so he could not do that. I told him I had just gotten a new tag, but he insisted that I could not keep my tag. Temp tag expires tomorrow, got a call Monday to come in because the emissions never went to state. The car needing emissions was the car I purchased, not mine, and according to the lady who gave me the paperwork after I went back up there to get another emission done, he should have known that and should have sent the car immediately for another emission. Sent text to salesman asking if I could come get a cd I left in the player. Said he would check, 2 weeks later ... crickets. So today, I got to go stand in line at the tag office and get my tag. Oh yeah, yesterday when I left work to go get emission, no a/c at all. I know it is a used car, and I did get a good warranty, but honestly I thought they would offer to cut me a break on some or all of the $250 deductible. Having to go get my tag because of someone who did there job improperly, no return call about the cd. Oh yeah, even thought I was pre-approved for a loan when I walked in the door, I have received 8 letters from companies that said Wade Ford checked my credit with them seeking financing. All those hard hits really knocked my credit score down. I am sure no one has read this far, and if you have, it may make no sense at all to you, but this is my way of letting it go. Jeff who manages the body shop took good care of my F-150 when I took it in for some front bumper work after someone had backed into me I didn't have to come out of pocket but the price did seem a little steep to me, but Jeff was honest and communicative with me which was nice Wade Ford is a very crowded facility which is hard to navigate especially around the body shop with so many cars in tight spaces, so be wary of that as well read more

It has been back two or three times to have problems fix they should have know about, and she is paying for. WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN OLD WOMAN! I dropped my truck off because I had a suspension bolt that was broken. Well sort of. Most of the way. Ether way not safe to drive. They assured me they ordered that part and it was all better. Two days later my truck was making the same old clunking noise in the front like before. I climb under the truck and surprise the same bolt is there. How do I know it's the same? 2 things: 1) it still had mud in it. 2) I put pink fingernail polish on it before dropping it off. Don't trust anything this service department does. Not only did they charge me for he part and labor they did an alignment on my truck. Removing this bolt and setting the wheel where it goes is going to negate the alignment. I've called and can't seem to get anyone on the phone. To be fair I called at 0800. Either way, foot to soon be wedged in the back side of someone at Wade Ford. More to follow: Update #1: I called and spoke with a representative here. He claimed the part was special order and they were waiting for me to come back to have it installed... yet the whole reason my truck sat there for 2 days was because they were waiting for the parts. They ordered the wrong parts. So I was charged for the wrong parts while they swore it was finished. They lifted the truck and I spoke directly with the tech working the parts this time. Had to bring it in for some warranty work, got it done fairly quickly and we're very friendly.

Where to begin? After spending a week negotiating the purchase of a vehicle and spending money on a plane ticket and hotel room, I was informed after multiple calls and texts (which were initially avoided) that the vehicle I was to purchase had been sold the week before. Evidently this dealership has no communication among its sales personnel as after the vehicle had supposedly been sold, the sales representative Frank was sending me videos and pictures of the car days later. After receiving that, I offered on Saturday (8/12) to pay a deposit and arrange for the final details two days later (8/14). I was assured that 'the paperwork will be drawn up by Monday' (8/14) and everything 'looked good'. When I received no call on Monday as promised, and cryptic responses to phone calls and texts, I was finally told 'sorry, the car has been sold'. What's worse is the sales manager "Danny" was both condescending, rude and dismissive saying 'this happens in the industry'. When pushed, "Danny" said he really didn't feel sorry, or feel like his dealership had done a single thing wrong. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I bought a Ford Explorer back in 2017 and they didn't provide or took out the hard-key hidden in the wireless key fob. I didn't find out it was missing until 2022 when the car went dead. I called and they admitted it should have come with the car but Wade was no help and said they would need to charge for the key since it has been so long - even though it was their mistake. You would think they would take care of the key that they admitted should have come with the car as it is a safety hazard and their mistake. Based on this experience and the lack of support directly from Ford, this $80 fee will make me never buy a $50K+ ford again. Horrible experience and no customer support. read more

I have had an issue with my AC for awhile I had it serviced in Dec '16 but it didn't "fix" the issues. After talking to Chris E in service I brought my car in for diagnostics. The mechanics had my car for a over week, taking turns sitting and listening for the fan to quit or max out on its own, with only 1 quick flux they were able to replace a part and get me back on the road. Chris was an awesome representative for Wade Ford. I just moved up from Florida in February and am happy to know I can count on my new Ford Dealership for my service needs. read more

Our car was having transmission trouble on our family trip from Michigan to Naples, Florida. We called from the road and Krissy, at Wade Ford, told us to bring the car in so they could take a look. Sadly, our transmission had a leak and needed a repair that would take days if not weeks to fix. Krissy quickly got us a rental and sent us down the road to Florida while Wade Ford ordered and fixed our car. The professionalism and kind spirit that Krissy showed our family was wonderful. Now after keeping me on hold for over 20 minutes, I called back to no answer. Called service manager instead of service tech... still no return call. I was going to buy a new 2020 in the Spring but think I'll go back to Mercedes. 2 hours later after posting, Carol Neumann of Wade Ford handled the Easy Care payment to me in a very professional manner. Went to Wade Ford for an oil change. On the phone they said the service would take no longer than an hour. When I got there, I wasn't even in the system with my appointment. I sat and waited for over two hours!! Not one person came to update me the entire time. I went and asked and they said 8 more mins...I didn't know 8 mins meant another 30! The only thing good about this place is the cafe, and lady there was the only one to ask people waiting if they needed anything. When I finalllllyyyy got my car, there was no apologies of the long wait and no thank you for your business. If your oil changes take over two hours there is a huge problem and I suggest looking into your business plan. Time is money. Will not be returning for further services. read more

My boyfriend and I knew exactly what we were looking for when walking into Wade Ford because I had been searching online. Luckily upon entering we were nicely greeted by salesman Desmond. One time, they forgot to tighten the lug nuts on my rear tire when they rotated them. Almost got killed on South Cobb Drive when I drove out! When I bought the truck, they gave me 5 coupons for free oil changes. I wound up throwing the last 2 in the garbage and started going to Hardy Ford on Charles Hardy Parkway in Dallas, GA. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Let's start with Ralph Ferguson trying to push all of their Ford vehicles on me. When I told him they weren't what I wanted, the last time I spoke with him was 3/18. Fast forward to yesterday, 3/31, j called advising no one reached back out. I was transferred to David (Gibbs), one of the sales managers, who pulled my application and check stubs that were already emailed. I was advised he talked to the finance manager and they got me approved by 3 different banks, with the amount that I wanted to put down and stated my monthly payments would be more because of the vehicle prices. I told him we'd be there after my daughter's track meet today, with the money in hand to close the deal. We arrived today, he shook our hands and told me that he was with 2 other customers, so he had another salesman who was going to help us. I was lied to, the story changed and they tried to force me in a vehicle that I didn't want. Which was a 2014 (manual) Honda Accord. We found out that they never submitted my application to any of the banks. Never again will I waste my time here! I walked alway with my money and you guys have lost a customer!! read more

The experience that my family member and I have received in the parts and service department is unacceptable. On January 18th I took my sister-in-law's expedition in for service and to replace the back of her seat that was broken. They serviced her car and when I returned to the service department three hours later they stated I would have to come back for the seat repair because the guy who gives estimates on that was not available. I then asked if there was any way for us to go ahead and just order the parts because she wanted it replaced regardless. The gentleman said we could go to parts and see what they could do for us. I went to the parts department and a young gentleman began to help me. We walked out to the car together because he wanted to be sure of the make, year, and model of her car for the parts we were wanting to order. I also asked him if I could order the entertainment dvd system headrest for the driver side and passenger side front row as well. He said sure. After close to an hour, I asked him if there was an issue and he stated he wanted to make sure he ordered the correct items. He tried to talk me into the strap dvd entertainment system and I said no because she wanted the headrest mounted one, no matter the price. Another 30 minutes go by and he gave me a grand total of almost $3,000.00. I stated that was fine and I would like to order and pay for it. He then stated he wasn't sure if he had the correct items and wanted to know if I minded him waiting until tomorrow to place the order after he consulted with someone to be sure. I stated that was fine because I would prefer that the right parts were ordered. He stated once the parts were delivered in the next week or so, that they would call me to schedule the installation. I paid for the parts and left, which was close to an hour or more.  My sister-in-law had not heard from them in over a month, so she contacted them last week to ask what the delay was. She was then told that the parts that were ordered for her seat were the wrong items, and that they would refund the amount. It has now been a week and no refund has been received. She was told the entertainment system was in and they could get her in today, 2/24, for the installation. She lives almost two hours away, but made the drive for the appointment at 1pm. As she was waiting, she received a call an hour and half later stating that the entertainment system was in fact the wrong item ordered for her vehicle. No apology, nothing. Just that they would have to do a refund and she would see it within 24 to 48 hrs. She then states she still hadn't received her refund for the seat parts from last week that was supposed to be returned in 24 to 48 hours and the gentleman informed her that the parts department just returned the item today, so she would receive that refund as well this week. The parts employee then begin to say that I told him to go ahead and order the part for the wrong year vehicle? I am not sure why he thought that would be believable when I spent over and hour with him where he inspected the vehicle and verified the year, make and model and consulted with someone else before placing the order for over an hour and a half. The employee also had the VIN number because he stated he needed to make sure he ordered the correct parts. Instead of saying I am sorry, trying to make it right, compensating her for her time, or anything else, your service and parts department decided to incorrectly place blame on a faithful customer who has bought two vehicles from you in less than a year, and was in the process of buying/looking at another one, and would be buying another one in a few months. No supervisor or service manager assisted, nothing. I understand people make mistakes, but you are in the customer service business and should make things right. I am blown away by this unacceptable customer service and very disappointed in Wade Ford Service Department. read more

Wade Ford was the only dealer who efficently and easily explained our options detailed the various finance routes we could utelize and most important created a buying environment that was as close to realixing and satisfying as beyond any dealership we ever visited or did business with. NO pressure No game playing and perhaps best of all the benefits to buying a car at Wade include perks that frankly are 10 star in themselves ,from chip and glass repair for up to one year free to Tire care beyond the normal warranties .. Avoid this place like a granny hooker with the clap. My boss has a Ford Mustang he doesn't drive often. Recently, he asked me to take it to the dealership because the rear window on the driver's side didn't work. I scoffed, told him it was certainly a bad fuse and I would fix it. After I spent about 30 minutes with the car, both windows on the driver's side wouldn't work and the automatic key fob wouldn't work. I took the car to the dealership right after I ate my lunch. I explained to the technician I needed the car back that afternoon. He told me he wasn't sure, but he would call me later that day to provide an update. I also told him not to do any work on the car without my express approval, as it was my boss' car and I needed my boss' approval to authorize any work. He said ok and I left. By 4:45pm, I started to worry so called and left a voicemail. The next morning I called again and left another voicemail. After lunch, the dealership finally called me and told me the GEM Module was bad and would need to be replaced for about $850. He also explained how they found other problems with the car which needed to be fixed right away for an additional $600. I told them I would be there in about 10 minutes to take the car, as I wasn't about to pay that much money. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, I was handed an invoice for almost $90. When I politely asked WTF, the technician explained that since I didn't want the dealership to work on the car, that I would need to pay about $90 for their time. I explained if they had told me this on the front end, then I would have paid it. However, he did not tell me this when I dropped off the car, and so I would not pay. (Also, I have never had a mechanic attempt to charge me if he didn't do any work on a car. I have grown up with lots of cars that barely run, and understand mechanics only charge if they actually work on a car.) The technician removed the charge and I paid nothing (this is one nice thing I will say about this dealership - when confronted with my absolute refusal to be ripped off, they did not rip me off). Still, I wonder how many people would have paid?! The second nice thing I'll say about this dealership - the technician I dealt with was nice in that sort of way that says "I don't like you, but it's my job to be nice." I respect that. Oh, and I took the car to another mechanic who worked on the car for two hours and fixed the problem for $16. The other mechanic also told me the additional $600 worth of repairs were not needed. read more

I have to start this off by saying I have used Yelp for years and love it and had to write my first review today because my experience was so bad I want to prevent other people from going to WADE Ford. I brought a brand new 2014 vehicle and it had a headliner that was sagging, I really wanted the car so I bought it anyways with the assurance from ford that it would be fixed immediately. 11 weeks and several phone calls to the dealership and ford customer service I finally get a phone call stating my new headliner was in. Throughout the 11 weeks I, had left few voicemails for my customer service rep Nathan Swanson and to which a couple weren't returned. So on September 25th at approx. 0730 I drop my vehicle off at Wade Ford to get the new headliner installed and was told it would take about 7 hours to install. That was fine I got a rental car and expected to pick up my car in the next morning. Oh how I was wrong..... On September 27th I called to check on the status of my vehicle and was told Nathan was out and there was no manager on duty to help me. But was told my car wasn't ready. On September 29th I receive a phone call from a manager Tim Black saying a piece broke during install and my car wasn't ready yet and there was no timetable on when it would be ready. I asked since my car was there so long would it possible get a complimentary oil change. Tim's response was "yes, but I don't want you to bash us when writing a review." My response was "forget it. ". On October 2nd I finally got my car back. Upon getting my car back there was a cut in the brand new headliner they just installed. The manager tim came out and said he inspected it himself and must have missed the cut. DO NOT DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED THERE!!! I called ahead to schedule an oil change. When I was there, I also asked them to quote me on how much it would cost to fix/replace my passenger side wiper arm. (I went to an automatic car wash, one of their washer clothe caught on my wiper and stripped the spline where the motor still works, but the wiper arm won't move). I explained this to the intake technician. Two hours later, I was told my oil change was finished. I was also given a quote, on paper, on the cost to fix/replace my wiper arm. The quote calls for $281 plus change. They told me I will have to replace the motor, get a new wiper arm and pay for labor cost. Of course, being a woman, they just assumed I am dumb when it comes to cars. If the motor was out, why would my driver side wiper still work? Needless to say, I went on Ebay, ordered the wiper arm for $28.13 plus free shipping. It came five days later. The new wiper arm was put on my car and the wiper works again. I even splurged and bought new wiper blades. All cost me a total of less than $40. And Wade Ford Dealership wanted $281 plus change? Wade Ford, you really disappoint me and insult me at the same time. I will definitely do business with someone else. You have lost my trust in you. Shame on you! How do you explain yourself?
