We will never, ever bring our Vehicle here for repairs again. It took them a full week before they even looked at our car (they couldn't even give us a date as to when they could fix it...every time we called we got vague answers - "oh, there's just a couple of cars ahead of you" etc). Then, they charged us twice as much as what was originally quoted for repairing the backup camera. The quote they gave us to fix the sunroof was laughable. This place is an absolute scam. I brought my 2005 F150 to the Wade Ford service department. My dash warning indicated a charging system problem. I also wanted them to look at some small body work, check my transmission for slipping issues and quote a 1/2 inch crack on my windshield. The guy told me each item they look at will cost me at least $100 just to look. So I cancelled a few items since the actual job wouldnt cost much more than the fee to have a look. Days later (they wouldn't call me so I had to keep calling them) I was told I needed a new battery and alternator. When I informed him the battery was purchased there and was still under warranty, he then said I didn't need a new battery after all. What?!! The alternator replacement was almost double the cost of what I was quoted elsewhere but by the time you add in a tow truck to have it sent elsewhere you don't save much. I told them to proceed. After 4 days of waiting I asked about that 1/2" crack in the windshield and he said he is still waiting for someone to look at that so I told him to forget it. That's ridiculous. Lastly, I paid them over $100 to evaluate my transmission because it slips. They said it was fine but it still slips and they have my money anyways. I do not think they looked at it or else they would have found why it slips. In all, I had the alternator work and an oil change which ran me nearly $700. Other shops will replace an alternator for half that. It is so frustrating to work with places like this. The lady at the payment desk was awesome and seemed "real". Then when I was told to wait for my truck they told me 5 minutes later to walk out back to get it. So I did, 10 minutes later the guy said he couldnt find it! So I had enough and went to a different service advisor who agreed to help me look for my truck. Whew... Im glad this is over with. read more

In the past my car buying experience has been as enjoyable as getting a root canal. However the people at Wade Ford it was different. The staff is great. I dealt directly with the general manager Steven Ewing. He explained everything he knew about the car, and made the experience pleasurable. I got a 2010 Ford Fusion. The dealership did such a great job on it, it looked like a brand new car. The staff at Wade Ford answered all questions, and handled the transaction professionally. I hold onto cars as long as I can. To give an example, this car is replacing a 2002 Lincoln Continental. I am confident that the Fusion will last for many years to come. A guy came inside saying it was going to take at least 30 more minutes to change a filter only to figure out that he wasn't talking about the truck I brought in and my truck had been done for over 45 minutes and not one person had notified me. I am trying hard to understand why this place has such low reviews. Granted I called in verses going in the store, they got me the information I need QUICK! The reason I have this a 4 is because whoever the guy was (I'm not going to say he was African per say) but he couldn't understand A WORD I was saying and I couldn't understand a word he was. I finally asked to speak to someone who was a little more fluent in English after about 10 minutes of going back and forth. WORST experience we've ever had at a car dealership...and that is saying something! I'd give it negative stars if I could. My husband, a police officer, and I went to Wade Ford to look at a specific F150. We were never asked if we had a down payment (we did) and they failed to offer all the incentives listed on the Ford website, one of them was a $500 offer for law enforcement. I guess they thought they were dealing with idiots who didn't research the Ford incentives BEFORE we visited the dealership. I knew something was up when they shorted us nearly $1500 in incentives we were eligible to receive. When my husband said he wouldn't pay what they were asking for the truck, the salesman said maybe we should look at a cheaper model! How about you give us the incentives on the website and stop being shady? We stood up to leave and the salesman said to come back when we won the lottery. What the &$%@ kind of comment is that? But in the end, I want to thank Wade Ford for treating us so terribly. On the way home, we got stuck in traffic and spotted the brand new Chevy Colorado at Steve Rayman Chevrolet. We pulled in to check it out and ended up buying the 2015 Motor Trend Truck of the Year - totally loaded. The truck is amazing. The sales and finance people at Steve Rayman were extraordinary and we absolutely love our new truck. So thanks Wade Ford for being a bunch of @$$holes! And I see that F150 we wanted is STILL for sale. The dealership is only still in business because for some unknown reason area police departments buy all their patrol vehicles from you. It certainly isn't because of their customer service. Avoid at all costs. read more

Well i was just wanting to get an extra key made. I called they said to stop by anytime. Stopped in on a Sat waited 30 min in lobby before they said they just didnt have them. They were on backorder. Said it would be a couple of days. Week later nothing, i call still on backorder be in any day. Week later same thing. I finally call about a month later, sure they have them. Thank you George! Our Explorer needed service. We were in to fix a couple mystery ailments that our baby was having. 1 - the pesky radiator leak that has been downing coolant all winter. & 2 - the gear selector was finicky. We'd already been steered wrong out America's Service station. What a relief to deal with professionals. George was our service adviser and assured us that they would scan watever coupons we had brought in to make sure we got the right discounts. He also settled our worries by informing us that the Gear selection switch was a recalled item and woul dbe replaced free of charge, YAY! (Someone else told us that it wasn't a recall and would cost $600 to repair.) Unfortunately the radiator couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. OUCH! But by honoring comepitors coupons and the other discounts it knocked over $100 off the bill. I can't believe what helpful people everyone was. Even the cashier was sweet an understanding. Our salesman, Nathan Crocker, was excellent. Not pushy but pleasant and very well informed. We were serious about needing a new car but not certain which make, model or options. Never bought a Ford until now. After test driving the Edge and Escape we selected the Escape with Titanium package and Navigation. Customer service = dumpster fire. Have tried to get my truck repaired here three times. Two out of those three, simply no one would answer my phone calls or messages after three or four times trying to call to set up an appointment. The one time I did get my truck repaired here, I only went because it was free under the warranty. And that time it took seven full days to get the truck back, with the same communication problem. I had to go there in person and wait at one of the service desks just to get someone to talk to me. On the bright side, the Service Dept receptionist (Brooke) and one of the managers? (Jason?) were been friendly and helpful when I spoke with them. They are the reason they get two stars instead of one. My advice (and what I have done myself), avoid this disaster of a business and take your car one minute down the street to Cooper Lake Chevron where Jimmy will hook you up right. read more

I went in to get my car serviced at 10am on a Saturday. There were nine people ahead of me but I assumed as much as most people have only the weekend to do such things. Eric took care of me and he was a nice guy. He brought me a report a few minutes after I sat down in their lounge and told me my alignment was off and needed to be fixed. He quoted a price and I was hesitant at first but after doing some research I told him to go ahead and do it. Around 1 the car was finished and Eric told me I was all set, I paid and left. Overall, it was a good experience, nothing bad to say. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that only one of the two TVs in the lounge worked, there were cash only vending machines but no ATM to get cash should you wish to impulse but a candy bar. I haven't carried cash since the 90's and for that reason, I was forced to just gulp down warm coffee. There was no water fountain that I could find so since I had no cash, I had to quench my thirst with... more coffee. Since I was waiting for such a long time I wandered around the gift shop/parts area. There was some shirts, a Ford beach ball and a half put together drink cooler with the instructions sitting on top as if someone said "forget this!" I got a laugh out of this. At the end of the day, I was not dissatisfied with my service. It just didn't wow me. In Atlanta there are hundreds of places to get your car serviced and it didn't feel like Wade went out of their way to show me that my business mattered to them or that they want me to return. Again, I'm not upset. I just will not be returning. "...but don't take my word for it!" Give them a shot, it could have just been a hard day. read more

I was very disappointed in the service department at Wade Ford. I spoke directly with Nathan and scheduled an appointment for Thursday at 9 AM. I received a text reminder in a couple of days that said my appointment was at 10:20 AM. When I replied and asked why it was changed there was no response. I dropped my vehicle off Thursday morning and didn't hear from anyone that day. I called Friday and was transferred a few times and never spoke to anyone. I left on a voicemail. Fast forward to Monday and I contact them and have to leave a voicemail. I did get a text back saying that they were having trouble diagnosing the problem with my vehicle because it was a 2007. After 4 PM I received a text saying that my repairs would be over $2200. I declined and picked up my vehicle. I ended up paying $197 for basically an oil change and they kept it for 4 days without communication. This is unacceptable! read more

I made a reservation to take my car into Wade Ford to get an oil change, alignment, emmision test and check the check engine light. The service manager Kevin told he they would immediately start working on it and he would give me a call back in a few hours to give me an update. 3 hours later no response. I call and he says they just finished the oil change and the others still need some time to work on it. I called an hour later and he said they dont have enough time to check the engine today but if I leave it there they would have it diagnosed first thing in the morning. I called the next morning at 11 and Kevin answered but needed to help another client so he would call me back. 45 minutes later no response. I call and leave a message. I want an hour and call and leave another message. I wait another hour and call the service manager and leave a message and he is yet to respond. After I finally got a hold of him 4 hours later, he assured me they can finish the car by 6pm. I called again at 5:30 and he said it was ready to go. I show up at 6:30 and it is still not ready. This was THE WORST DEALERSHIP SERVICE I have ever had. Go to another ford dealership. Responsiveness = 0 Professionalism = 0 Satisfaction with the service = -10 read more

Terrible service here. Seems every time we come here there is an issue. The only reason I continue to come here is because it's very close to my home but after today they will never get my money again. I dropped my car off yesterday at 2 for a simple oil change. Today at 2 (24 hours later) my oil change still didn't get done. When I got there and asked for my car they looked confused and said it still wasn't done. Then a few minutes later I'm being told they are finishing up the paperwork on it. Of course I was told I wouldn't have to pay. I get in my car and my low pressure tire light is still on and I have no oil change sticker in my window. I know they never did my oil change. They are incompetent. I brought my SUV to Ford because I was having a few issues. My ABS light was on, I felt a rotation under my feet when I pushed the brake pedal which scared me and made me think my brakes would go out at any time, and my car made a loud noise when I drove it. I left my car with Ford so they could fix the issues and once I picked it up, after driving around, I noticed my ABS light came back on. My service advisor informed me that new parts was put on my SUV from the factory so he wanted me to drive it for a few days to allow my truck to get in sync with the new parts. So I drove it for a few days but the light never went off. So my service advisor asked me to bring my SUV back in so they could fix the issue. It ended up being a defective part from the factory but they replaced the part, took care of all the other issues and my 11 year old vehicle drives like a new car today! I trust Wade Ford and I like that even if you have have another problem after getting your vehicle back from them, they will do everything they can to fix the issues while keeping the customers informed every step of the way, and making sure the customer is happy with the job. It was also very nice to see that my service advisor always had a smile on his face when he saw me...even though I felt like I kept coming in with issues. He always told me that he wanted to make sure all my vehicle issues were addressed and he wanted to do everything he could to make sure I was happy with the work that was done. Gary Austin, the salesman who helped us, was courteous, friendly, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We received a fair trade in, as well, not being pressured to take too low of an offer at any point. Even the dealings with financing and extended warranties were about as low-key as I could expect. I felt no pressure at any time - the entire staff were pleasant and amiable. Having purchased a number of cars from different dealers in the past, I can honestly say Wade Ford greatly exceeded my expectations in this purchase. We had an older car that's been needing to be replaced for months, and the only reason we didn't come in sooner was due to my dreading the new car sales process. I wish I'd come in sooner. This dealership has very bad horrible service. From the minute i set foot into the dealership I can tell it was bad. The salesman they had for me ran around with his head chop off. They didn't negotiate the sale price with me. The just throw number at me and hope that I go away. If I'm spending 70k on a truck and they wont take the time to talk to me and I got a business 2 miles down the road from them. I'm sorry they just lost my business. If I could leave a 0 star review I absolutely would. My truck wouldn't start, got it towed to Wade ford (where I purchased the vehicle). Told me it was something wrong with my brake shifter to start my car. They took about 3 days to tell me "what's wrong" with my truck. I called a couple days after I dropped it off because I never heard any word from my service advisor (Sean Dunlap) who told me he would let me know what's going on with my car and never called me Over a span of 5 days . I called them to find out my truck was ready and Sean was out sick. I arrived to Wade ford to pick up my truck, I pay for the repair, go outside for them to bring my truck around. Waiting for about 20 minutes went back inside to check what was going on, come to find out my truck isn't ready and still won't start. I live a hour away and had to get a ride there and back home they had no remorse for there mistakes. Didn't offer me a loaner car I had to ask and they claim they don't have any in at the moment. They issued me a refund and told me they would have answers for me in the morning. This is just one example of the TERRIBLE customer service and finger pointing I have witnessed while dealing with Wade Ford. Hope you guys figure it out soon and get rid of Sean Dunlap. read more

After purchasing a Ford Fusion and a much higher interest rate than my salesman told me I qualified for, I brought the car in for the free oil change and tire rotation that was part of the contract. I was told that the tires were rotated. Upon inspection, the right rear rim that I damaged on a curb was still on the right rear and the slightly damaged right front tire was still on the right front. This dealership is in the business of lies and deception. DO NOT take your vehicle to Wade Ford for servicing!!! I would strongly advise anyone from having any business dealings with these crooks. And definitely do NOT buy a car from these crooks. read more

We had a HORRIBLE Experience at Wade Fords. After securing our financing from Capital One, we set out to pick up the car we'd chosen via the Capital One Auto Navigator (EXCELLENT experience there, and I'll give a great review for them!) At the dealership, the salesman, Andrew, was alright. He didn't seem too knowledgeable and quite young, but we felt that would be fine, given we were just there to drive the care and wrap up the purchase. We'd already completed our finance requirements, had a Pre-qualified letter, interest rate and terms chosen. Unfortunately the games began ‍ The salesman Andrew fell into the crap with the finance department. They shuffled us back and forth across the street at least 3 times- because 1 finance mgr wasn't available, or he just got too busy. What should have and COULD have been a fabulous experience, turned into a horrible one. Then the finance mgr., Richard, finally had time for us. We quickly learned that he had taken it upon hisself to call capital one. Oh, and btw- add on a $2500 warranty, and other fees while dropping our terms and increasing the interest rate. This ass had the nerve to think we wouldn't have noticed and that we'd just sign it. I almost lost my mind- I reminded him that OUR FINANCING, is OUR FINANCING. That we weren't there for him to "school us" and manage anything. AND I DID NOT ASK FOR A WARRANTY OR would I have agreed to the increase in interest rate. This guy was your total car salesman crepe! Of course we got capital one on the line, and they laughed. They confirmed with Richard that our terms are already chosen, and that the warranty was not requested. Then Richard starts screaming and throws his pen and stomps out the back door!! Yes, that's what I said- back door! He asks us to leave! Of course then the salesman Andrew shuffles us BACK ACROSS THE STREET, to another finance manage. Who (after 10 minutes locked in a room with 2 other guys), agrees to see us. He decides to confirm what Richard did about our financing- so I get capital one on the speaker phone again, and they tell him exactly what we'd been saying. FINALLY, this finance manager starts typing and says- "yes your right. Your terms are correct, and I see where Richard was adding fees to your purchase" Well hallelujah! We were out within 20 minutes. That could have been over in 20 minutes- instead we were abused, cheated, and lied to for 3 hours! I will never go to Wade Ford Again. We are from Detroit. Our parents worked at Fords, and family still does. These jerks do not represent the best- do not go to Wade Fords. Find another Ford Dealer or go Barrett Pkwy GMC. We like our GMC and the service was awesome! read more
