Love this place! I ordered "Bruce's Choice" with strawberries and bananas substituted for blueberries (they were out of blueberries). It was the perfect combination of ingredients with the bubble waffle cone. I like the taste of the bubble cone much better than a regular waffle cone. They also have shakes that I would love to try on my next visit. read more

First off, I love everything about this place. The reviews are very strong and our experience was nothing but great. We came to the container park looking to grab some quick to eat before trying Wafelato. As we discussing a place closing that was serving hot food. It was suggested that we try "Frat Haus" as they had some good food. It was but that is for another review. I felt this was the ultimate customer service we could have gotten. We came back and all questions were answered and then we got to experience the great tasty sweet treats. The waffle was made as we ordered and was a great compliment to the gelato. This was a perfect book end to our weekend in Vegas. Whatever your plans are while in Vegas, definitely this needs included. Next time we are in town we may have to start off and end our trip here. read more

I had never experienced the Puff Waffle before moving to Las Vegas. I don't know if I just hadn't encountered it or if it's more of a thing here than in WA. Either way, I love it and I do not usually like waffles or waffle cones. That's just a personal preference thing but I would be very interested in eating puff waffles smothered in butter and maple syrup at some point so I guess I need to track that experience down. As for Waffelato, the whole experience was great. The waffle was delicious, as was the gelato and the toppings that came with it. I will make a point of coming back at a time when I'm not worried about ruining my dinner and purchase a much larger one of these. The service was friendly and helpful and container park is just a totally cool location. read more

Holy crap. If based strictly on flavor, this would be six stars despite the Yelp-permitted five. The pineapple sorbet was absolutely ridiculous. My taste buds have never experienced anything so perfect in their 37 years of existence. Light and sweet, this sorbet is clearly made with actual fruit and its juice, as there is is the perfect amount of pulp mixed in throughout the entire cone. How do I think we offer can be improved? I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to my frozen treats, so a waffle really isn't my thing. If I can get this in a huge cup, I would pay a pretty penny for it. I would love to see this option added to the menu. So why the four stars instead of five? Customer service. The girl who waited on us seemed definitely bothered by our very existence inside of the establishment. While she was barely serving us she was busy texting on her phone (black cat phone case) and never even made eye contact with us. There wasn't a single smile during our entire exchange and we felt shafted by the digital check out system had us automatically 15%. She definitely did not deserve a tip. Despite the bad service I will absolutely be back so that I can fill my mouth with amazing pineapple sorbet and also a lemon for the road. read more

We were craving ice cream and we thought we'd give this place a try. Definitely would recommend if you're around in the area! The waffle was so good they don't have a lot of ice cream selections but what they make is still really good! The girl working behind the counter was really sweet and patient. Love this place! The waffles are yummy but it's truly the sorbet & ice cream that makes this place stand out! To beat the Las Vegas heat, your going to want something to cool you down! From gelato to sorbet, waffle cone or bubble cone, you'll definitely cool down the Las Vegas hotness with something kewl like this place. Grab a cone and enjoy walking around the heat! Best waffle cone ever! I picked the mix waffle, chocolate and vanilla and had "The Mantis" mint ice cream, Oreos and chocolate syrup. Wow! It was delicious. My wife had the Elvis and said it was bomb! We will definitely be coming back and trying out the other flavors. read more

We got the pistachio gelato with fresh bananas on top and waffle crumbles! We got a double scoop and it was enough for all four of us to share for a nice little snack! The waffle texture is soft and not crispy outside which doesn't mean it's bad if you like it that way. I'd expected a lil crispy from it. The ice cream part is good, the kind I like where it's not too sweet. I got annoyed at how slow the service is here because it's just one person doing everything and he didn't look like he's a pro at it but I felt bad and gave me discount. read more

We were passing through Vegas coming from California and wanted to see the "Container Park". We had heard so much about it so had to stop. Love the Park but especially loved "Waffelato". The strawberry ice cream and bubble waffle thing was great, service not so much. I stood at the counter while the worker just looked at me from her chair. When she finally decided to take my order, she made my bubble waffle cone fresh and put the ice cream in it while it was still hot off the iron. It was a hot day and my ice cream melted so fast I couldn't enjoy all of it. read more

Located in Downtown Las Vegas Container Park of the first level. One of the best bubble wrap ice cream I had in a good while. It was made fresh to order and in a efficient manner. Definitely worth the stop! I had one of their top selling cones which is the Pacific Sea Salt and it was so good especially with the hot weather and all. UPDATE: Some guy named Spence (maybe the owner) privately messaged me here on Yelp. I didn't realize that the owner or whoever Spence is, can have an opinion about what I thought of this place. First of, make it clear that it's NOT an additional $1/topping and your staff whom I asked said it was an additional not 2 included... so talk to your STAFF!!! Secondly, $8 is still expensive for such a plain ice cream!! So there's my other opinion about this!!! Spence's private message to me, "Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you are were not happy with your recent visit to Waffelato. One thing I do want to clarify though is the Waffelato does include two toppings as the menu indicates. Had single scoop of mint chocolate and vanilla waffle after dinner. The ice cream was great, love it! The waffle get mad soggy super fast so you can't really savor it, you must chow down as fast as you could. Pretty clean establishment and the lady (maybe the owner) was very nice, she even let me sample some ice cream because I couldn't decide. Might come back if I'm the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go get it just because parking is a hassle. read more

Oh man this place is a hidden gem! If you are going to Freemont street be sure to check it out. Easy to find just find the giant metal fire breathing praying mantis, and head on into the container businesses! Delicious gelato and you gotta get it in a giant chocolate waffle cone! read more

What's better than an cold treat on a hot day? A waffle cone from Waffelato. Waffelato is a nice stop on a hot day to quench your sweet tooth. The gelato is some of the best that I've had in the area. The waffle cone was made as we waited which was a great touch. None of that, already made instead fresh as you order, which is the way to go. The service was excellent and friendly and the price was good as well. read more

The place is pretty big and bright with machines lines up against the wall to play. It was empty when we arrived, but I see it as a spot that kids would love being in to hangout. Stopped by Waffelato and was impressed! The blood orange sorbet was refreshing with just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. The vanilla bean was top-notch--smooth texture and rich flavor. On our visit, there were several sketchy people in the lot and some going to the adjoining liquor store. While most of the customers were nice family looking people, a few of them were on the sketchier side too. If this were the only issue, we would go back, but there were other issues as well. However, for the positives, parking was limited, but sufficient. Business was good and there was both a line and numerous people waiting for their food. The order area is well lit at night. Most of all, the servers are very friendly, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the rest of the downside are the most important things. The serving cup size is good, but the ratio of custard to hot fudge/toppings was way off. Most places do not give enough fudge/chocolate sauce/toppings, but here the ratio was half and half. This MIGHT have been ok if the fudge and toppings were layered as at other places that do not skimp on toppings, but here the fudge/toppings were the top half of the cup and the custard at the bottom. This made it difficult to get the custard and to get a proper ratio of custard to topping. Kind of like rationing your meat and rice or potatoes so you have some for each bite--you could not do this with the custard and toppings here. The custard quality seemed like it might be ok, but it was hard to tell due to the ratio and serving structure. Overall, Nielson's custard has the more standard concretes with mix ins and a larger portion size than Luv-it. Freddy's frozen custard, although not as good as Nielson's was still also better than Luv-it. If Luv-it could either layer its toppings and you have concrete custard consistency, then it could be rated higher. As is, you are better off driving the distance to Nielson's or just going to Freddys. Still, if you must go to Luv-it, just be aware of your surroundings and you will still get an ok dessert.
