First let me say how clean this restaurant was and how friendly the staff is. I wanted breakfast but it was after 12 so my sister suggested Waffle House. We arrived and the staff were on point with serving us and helping with recommendations. I wanted a grit bowl but also saw a senior menu, after asking our server about the differences and letting her know I didn't want a lot, she let me know the senior serving was what I should get. I let her know I like my bacon crispy, eggs scrambled well and when she asked if I wanted raisin bread, who says no to that! My meal was delicious, I got grits rather than hash browns but my sister said the hash browns were great and crispy on the outside. Once she left to get my coffee l, I actually enjoyed watching the cook prepare someone's meal. I actually commented on how professional she looked and it was great seeing her clean up as she went. When it ended up being my meal we gave her a good tip! I then asked if it was a training restaurant because the servers were saying please and thank you when giving the cooks their order and ensuring they articulated perfectly, at least to me ears. Went to a Waffle House for the first time in nearly three years, at the food still tastes as good as the last time. Mr. Mark the cook did a very good job on our order and everything was cooked exactly to standard, this particular Waffle House does take pride in their work and keep a pretty clean kitchen and dining area. I was more so impressed that only two people were working back there, a server and a cook. Kudos to both of them for getting orders out nice and hot not to mention fast. read more

Been eating at different waffle houses for decades including this location by the old military circle mall. Most all locations have issues, mainly being dirty. Last Monday topped them all. Dirty counter and floors. You could see drink rings and other things on the counter. Not wiped down. Service 0/5 I was asked to prepay?? I have never prepaid at a Waffle House. I'm a normal sixty something customer. Then was charged a to go fee for eating in. Waitress stated bill was 14.25, but gave me $2 and change from a $20 Bill. Never again at this location. Disclaimer: Not all Waffle Houses are created equally. I feel like the food at Waffle House is always a hit. I don't venture out too much so this experience wasn't anything new for me. I usually get the all star breakfast exactly how it comes in the picture and for $11 you can't beat it. Comes with waffle, grits, eggs toast and I usually add a hash brown and sub my sausage for a pork chop (secret menu). Our server was great. He said he was till in training but did an amazing job. Very professional and good energy. Some one put Chris brown on the jukebox so we were vibing. Definitely a great diner to grab a quick bite. Definitely worth coming to this location. Since I visited on a weekday, the restaurant was pretty empty so there were no issues with quickly ordering and receiving food. The customer service was pretty much on point, and two of the waitress were absolutely hilarious. Also, this location was one of the cleanest locations that I have visited in quite some time. Waffle House has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat when we are broke! Not many places you can get a full breakfast for around $10 a person! We don't have these in California so I am loving this! Avoid at all costs. Drive out of your way to another Waffle House if you're looking for a late night snack. I've never written a Yelp review in my life and I doubt I'll write another. This is warranted. I showed up with 4 friends at 2am. Despite having a few booths open the lady at the counter told us it would be an hour wait to sit down. We offered to clear off a table for ourselves, willing to wait the extra time to get served. They brushed us off (seemed like they wanted us to find a new spot for food). We waited inside for an hour and 45 minutes. After the bulk of crowd cleared out we finally asked if we could order. Again, they brushed us off. My friend asked one of the workers, Aleehyah, for a fork so he could eat a leftover plate of food on the table; with the intentions of making them realize we were super hungry after this 2 hour wait. The other worker, a woman whose name was covered by her apron, saw this and used it as an opportunity to kick everybody out. She demanded everyone in the store leave. She closed the store abruptly regardless of their 24/7 hours. We were upset, but we put smiles on our faces hoping to convince them to change their minds. Afterwards, she looked at my friend and told him he "clearly wasn't raised properly" because he ate 2 bites of someone else's left-over hash browns. Of course it's slightly gross he ate out of someone else's plate! But it was the untouched part of the meal with a clean fork! That lady used it as a reason to kick out ~12 people (most of which weren't even involved!) who'd been waiting patiently to eat for 2 hours!!! Never seen anything like it. This had to of been one of the cleanest least greasy waffles houses I have ever been to. The reputation is usually closer to that of a greasy spoon. But I loved my breakfast here. When you first walk into the place, you will notice the floors are dirty. When I went, there were roaches crawling on the floor. It depends when you go to the restaurant because sometimes you will get nice employees, sometimes you get bad employees, sometimes you get both. Decent Waffle House that, per the saying "Does exactly what it says on the tin." Waffles and grilled food, all the breakfast all the day. And a few non-breakfast items. For me at 7:30 AM on a weekday, it was going to be breakfast. I chose the "All-star breakfast" which is a waffle, two eggs, breakfast meat, toast and has browns. I upgraded and got them "covered" with cheese. A few minutes later, it all arrived at my spot on the counter. Exactly as ordered, which is always nice to see. Main complaint is that the jukebox was belting out some recent music's effort to make money and it was LOUD. Great Place to eat late at Night ! The food was perfect and the service is outstanding

We have experienced a lot of restaurants that we call first and last. First time there not coming back again. This was not so of this Waffle House. The place was very open light and cheery and very clean. We were approached right away by Breanna who had a great smile and attitude to take our order for drinks. Skylar her trainer ( and this is a training location) said she could take her first order. After several questions back and forth we ordered the patty melt and the all star breakfast. Waffle was very nice crisp and fluffy on the inside. What impressed me was the fact that everything was tasty and not drowned in grease like so many breakfast places.Skylar took very good care of us and even offered a fresh glass of tea to go which earned a star in my book. Just came to this waffle house after having an early morning. I personally ordered a chocolate chip waffle and a side of hash browns, both were delicious. I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bowl which was nicely presented and tasted great. I then asked for another side of hash browns and our server said it was on the house. Elijah, our server, did a great job and was the biggest reason I had a good experience because he always knew when to ask if we needed anything and treated us with a very humble hospitality. This Waffle House is close to where I live, so it is convenient! We placed our order for pick up and they answered right away which is a plus since it is Sunday and most places are usually packed by this point! Good news they weren't. Got home with our order and everything was made correctly! The portions are smaller than most places, and the waffles we're rubbery! I would expect for a placed named the Waffle House for these to be excellent, but was very disappointed, they weren't fluffy nor Crispy! Sausage sandwich had a round patty which was smaller than the Texas toast it was on with one egg, more bread than anything! For what you get and the price you pay, not worth it! My area strongly needs a mom and pop shop even if the food was mediocre it would still be better the Waffle House! read more

I came here for a late brunch on Sunday. The restaurant was busy. They don't have tables to accommodate for a big group to sit together. Hence, my group had to spread out (minus 1 star). The waiter was nice and took our orders quickly after we sat down. I tried the cheesesteak bowl with hash browns and pecan waffle. The food was delicious. However, the cooking area doesn't look so clean and you can see it since they cook in front you (minus another star). Before starting this review, please understand I have just finished a 15 hour shift at my own establishment. We just wanted water and food, since I haven't had a chance to eat in 12 hours. I am so sorry we bothered the staff with our demands ( smothered hash browns). We received our water about the same time we got our eggs and sausage. We ask to pay out and we get an " uh hmmmm". I am sure this is because they receive a lot of drunks at this hour. However, it is a shame they treat people who need a warm meal after just getting off work this poorly. Waffle House is known for none other than its amazing Waffles. The diner itself is small. The kitchen is out front so you can watch them cook! Service is friendly, fast and thorough. We like to take the kids on Sunday (which is usually a busier day) but it's worth the wait. Its cheap, but delicious food. If you get the All-star Breakfast (see my tip) you're in for a huge breakfast that will definitely leaving you wanting to come back. *Couldn't fit this in the tip but if you have kids a "kids waffle" is 4 dollars and comes with eggs and a standard size waffle. My 2 year old can never eat that much So we get him just an "extra waffle" which is $1.75! read more

The bar-top was disgusting. It looked as if no one had wiped it down the entire day. Staff were unprofessional, used foul language and shared a little too much of their personal life.
