Service alone was superb! The food here is what it is cheap, greasy on some items and full of comfort! Casey was our server and she was on it! The sweet tea was SWEET like it should be ! Definitely not for those northerners and diabetics. I ordered the cheesesteak omelet w/mushrooms,onions,cheese, biscuit/apple butter and a side of bacon. Others in my group had waffles,grits, eggs, toast, and biscuits & gravy. Everything came out tasting as it should hot and cooked to ordered. So not to confuse anyone not familiar with a Waffle House this is 5stars for running it as it should be, having the place tidy and clean, service with a smile, and food ordered as it should be. It may not look like much but looks can be deceiving, so take another look doesn't it resemble something so familiar. At first glance you may think this is just another unique Mom and Pop Cafe along any highway in American, but on closer inspection it's a Waffle House through and through. Now you'll find lots of old friends here they sort of become a tradition like Bert well I didn't actually see him but I did get a glimpse of his chili and sitting on the counter was Alice's Iced Tea so she must be around somewhere the glass was still sweating from just being brewed. So if you're not in any hurry have a seat and grab a mug of Royal Cup Coffee this guys been grinding beans here since 1972 or if you happen to be here a little after midnight like I was maybe the kind server working the counter will brew you up a fresh pot and fill a cup for you to take with you, yep that's just the kind of place this is, friendly and kinda laid back once the circus ends and the nightly performers go home making Waffle House truly a Unique American Phenomenon. Staff was nice when we walked in. Our waitress asked for our order the second we sat down. We told her we weren't ready, 30 seconds later she asked if we were ready, we said no. A minute and half later she came back & asked if we were ready, I felt rushed and just hurried up and ordered a waffle and small grits side. Boyfriend got all star special. It was ice cold in this waffle house, we were shivering the whole time! Our waffle came out looking so small and undone, they were also cold, the butter and peanut butter/chocolate wasn't even melting. The grits was warm at first but quickly turned ice cold in that room. Food came out super fast. All in one trip, the waitress put down our food and set the bill on side of it. I absolutely hate when servers do this. It's basically saying, eat and get out. There are lots of Waffle Houses in Biloxi,Mississippi. Why did I stop at this one? Because it was very close to my hotel,that's why! The food here was pretty good. I ordered the all American Grand Slam breakfast. It came with a waffle,eggs,grits,sausage patties and toast.All of the food was very good. Hell, they even managed to get my eggs over medium right. That's saying a lot compared to other waffle houses I've been to. I think the most impressive thing about was the service. Besides the fact the food came out pretty quick the people there were very friendly. In fact all 7 of the people working behind the counter said "Good Morning!" when I walked through the door. One of the gals behind the counter kept checking up on me every few minutes and even indulged me with some minor chatter while I was waiting on my food. After my meal when I was leaving they told me,"bye, have a good day". Honestly if it wasn't for the Waffle House logo out front you would swear that you were eating at roadside country diner. Location: This waffle house is located right off the interstate. It is at exit 50 in Ocean Springs. it is just North of interstate 10. View: There is not much of a view here. You have your typical interstate hotels such as Best Western; Country Inn and Suites and so on. So that is your view. Food: I like the ham and cheese omelet. Obviously it is typical Waffle House food. It is crowded on Sundays after Church. What I do not like is the smoke. I do not smoke so I do not like to smell it when I am eating. Most Waffle Houses are too small for smoking. There is a Denny's about half a mile away that does not have smoking. read more

Our waitress barely came by our table and then when we left to pay, the other waitress I think named Gracie was openly complaining about another worker and also would look at us and snicker. Never have i ever been spoke to the way i was tonight by a grown woman. I do not appreciate the way me and my party were treated for the 20 min we were there. If you ask someone to stand outside and wait (as we we're doing) that's whatever we just wanted food. i then preceded inside to ask how much longer speaking there were multiple tables that were empty with plates still on them and she immediate got snappy. I've been here multiple times and have had much better service. But tonight I dined in at around 6. It wasn't too busy there were maybe 3-4 tables sat. I ordered a chicken melt as always and asked for my hash brows crispy. The cook was already flustered; As the waitress called my order back the cook said he can't make my hash browns crispy bc they would stick to the grill, which is false bc I always get them crispy. The phone rang& in the rudest tone, the cook told the waitress "you better not answer the phone" she responded with "oh I won't or he'll yell at me". The second waitress asked the the cook if she needs to call someone in for help as he's obviously unqualified To handle the position. He responds with "no. It's fine" BUT THEN pulls out his phone an see elp THEN WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON he continued to cook. I had to walk out after that.
