I'll be honest... Waffle House has never really been my favorite. But this location completely changed my mind! The food was actually really good, the service was friendly, and I wasn't disappointed at all. If you're staying at the RV resort next door, it's definitely worth stopping in plus you get a 10% discount, which is a nice bonus. I was visiting Gulfport and my hotel was right next to this Waffle House, so it was a great opportunity to try it out for the very first time. When I walked in, no one sat me down but I learned that's how Waffle House works. I came at around 10pm and the environment was very chill with no stress at all. I took a seat and then a couple minutes later, the waitress came to take my order. I ended up going with the biscuits and gravy, the waffle, and hash browns. The biscuits and gravy were nothing special and the hash browns were a bit oily, but the waffles were delicious. At the end of the day, everything was yummy overall and I can't complain too much. Something that really stood out to me was how much food I was getting for the amount of money that I paid. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful and she deserved a very nice tip. This gave me a really strong first impression of my first ever Waffle House. I will definitely be visiting other locations! read more

This Waffle House is the worst we have been to. The food took forever to get. Then when we got it, everything was way overcooked, when specifically requested to be cooked lite. We ended up sending one of the plates back to be recooked because it just so over cooked, almost burnt. The server was so so at best. She did keep our drinks full, but had to request jelly (only brought one jelly for us to share) wasn't even offered any when the biscuit was brought to the table after my food was completely eaten. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this Waffle House. We will not return. read more

There's not much to say about Waffle House that hasn't been said already. This one particularly impressed me with the service. I got my food in record time after I ordered. Order was correct and everything was fresh and hot. There weren't many customers when I arrived. It was the tail end of the lunch rush so the whole crew was hustling - refilling the salt/pepper shakers, napkin dispensers, etc., sweeping, wiping, cleaning everywhere. I had to catch my server a couple times for coffee refills but she was right there. She had to put down her broom to get coffee for me, so that's OK. Very attentive despite the busyness. Despite all that cleaning going on, they had not gotten to the bathrooms yet. I don't think I have ever seen a WH men's room that wasn't a biohazard and this one didn't disappoint. Every Waffle House everywhere is always at the very least decent and usually most are good but I will say this one was actually the best one ever. The server was the kindest ever and she was seriously perfect. I would also recommend for you to hurry up and go here to eat quickly because the chef that made my order seriously is the highest level Waffle House chef ever so he will likely become a chef at some fancy restaurant soon. We were pleasantly surprised the restaurant was open on Christmas! We decided to go in for lunch. We each ordered a breakfast entree. Everything was cooked very well and served efficiently too. It is nice that some places understand we do not all have family around to dine with so going out is most appreciated. We tipped our server very well for working on the holiday! The Waffle House on 2428 Beach Blvd (along U.S. 90) in Biloxi, Mississippi must be the friendliest, most efficient Waffle House on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Food was rapidly prepared, delicious, and inexpensive. Our waitress goes by the name of "Key" and was super friendly and very attentive. My husband and I stopped at several Waffle House restaurants during our three month RV motorhome trip through TX, LA, MS, TN and Alabama. I wish we had these in our home state of California. This one in Biloxi, MS and the one in Guntersville, AL are stand outs. This one in Biloxi, MS (There are several along the beach in Biloxi) is right next door to the Gulf RV Resort where we stayed. The restaurant is neat and clean and across the road from the Gulf sea shore. We ate there four days in a row for breakfast and by the second day the staff was greeting us by name when we came through the door. The staff was very pleasant, the food was good and our eggs were cooked just right. I would recommend this Waffle House. Don't bother. Hopefully, it was just the cook I has tonight and not all there. But I ordered a triple hashbrown with onion, tomato, mushrooms, 2 slices of cheese and double on the ham. The cook I guess didn't want to bother too much because he had just sat down himself to eat. So, what I got was some hashbrowns that didn't look cooked they were all still completely white. (I'm not sure how you do that). I got zero onion I got 1 piece of tomato I counted about 3 pieces mushroom, saw 4 or 5 pieces of ham for my double ham and the cheese couldn't have been more than a slice. I have ordered the same thing for 20 years so I know what it should contain on average. This was the worst order I have ever gotten though. I just got up without having eaten or drank anything and told them I would pay for my drink but what they gave me wasn't what I ordered and I wouldn't pay for it. I left after paying. me and five other males went to this waffle house last night. we were greeted with terrific service, one of us put 3 dollars in jukebox with proved to be more than enough to make sure your journey through the menu at waffle house is soundtracked to some of the greatest hits this once great country has. the food was great; all special instructions were followed to a T, i wanted the edges burned off of my toast and my egged served on top of my hash browns, which both request were fulfilled without question. we had a really great time here. we were visiting from out of town and can't wait to have the privilege of eating at this particular location again. out of the 19 waffle houses in biloxi, i can imagine that this one is as good as it gets. attached are some pictures of how great of a time we were having here. read more

Took my order twice and then forgot it. After 15 minutes I demanded my coffee. Then they took my order a third time. Only four customers in the restaurant. Six employees behind the counter. Pathetic. My "toast" was slightly warmed bread. Grits were room temperature. Rest of my $10 All Star Breakfast was edible. My waitress, Kathy, seemed to be totally baffled by the whole meal ordering, food serving, payment accepting process. I was sitting at the counter. Not exactly invisible. This was the best Waffle House by far that I have ever been too. The service is amazing, the food was fresh, and it was very clean. And to top it all off, it's a stone's throw from she shoreline in Biloxi! A lot of these other reviews seem rather negative and stuck up. They seem to not know that Waffle House is not a 5 start restaurant, it's more like a simple diner...duh. I will surely come back here whenever I am craving a waffle. read more

I write this update merely to observe that the quality of Waffle House cooking has come up dramatically in the world, though the bizarre mentality of some of its management (not to be confused with the people who actually run the place - the ninja cooks and warrior-monk servers) continues to be troubling. Let me just say this; if you're an adult, and the sight of a Boy-Scout-scale pocket knife triggers you and makes you nervous, well, what that means is, it means you had bad parents . . . and bad grandparents. And, furthermore, if someone is abiding in your greasy spoon and drinking, oh, say, carrot juice and sweetening it up with a little Waffa Houf sugah, and all the while is bringing positive mojo into your store, then, well, maybe DON'T die on a hill over a frigging modicum of sugar. Be smarter, Waffle House! And keep working on your food. In the meantime, people who actually love great Southern breakfast will continue to go to IHOP instead, or instead to Fillups by Billups, in East, or old downtown, Biloxi, where they make a mean and righteous and actual Belgian waffle, which puts the Waffle House version to shame. Waffle House at 2428 Beach Blvd. I ordered the All star with 3 eggs sunny side up, grits in a bowl, dry wheat toast, bacon and a pecan waffle, same order I have once a week. Normally this is an excellent breakfast spot with a great view of the ocean and a delightful wait staff. No good waffle today. The first waffle that came out was over cooked, it had black spots all over it. The waitress Brandy made it, the cook told her that she should make another one, she presented it to me anyway, it looked like asphalt, I told her that I was not going to eat that, she threw it away before I could take a picture. The second waffle had spots so she didn't even put it on the table, again thrown away before I could take a picture. The third waffle was under cooked, and tasted like unsweetened cookie dough, or crap. The fourth waffle was similar to the last one. I was running out of time so I paid my bill and had to leave or else I would have returned it again and asked the manager to make the waffle. the service in this waffle house sucks. we walked in and were not greeted, and it took 20 minutes for someone to finally clean off the booth we were going to be sitting in. We sat down and our waitress did not come to get our drink order, or our food order until 20-25 minutes later. I ordered the All star special with bacon and a chocolate chip waffle and my boyfriend ordered the cheesesteak bowl along with a chocolate chip waffle. not only did we wait another 20 minutes, when we finally got SOME of our food, we had to wait another 30-40 minutes to get our waffles. Oh and the waitress got the order wrong so we only were given one waffle and it didn't even have chocolate chips on it. we got it straightened out finally. seems to me as this location does not care about training their staff the right way and they're too worried about having conversations in the back instead of getting food out to hungry customers. In conclusion, i will not be back. 2 hours for a mediocre Waffle House breakfast is not worth it. Should have saved my time and money and went to mcdonald's instead. I finally got to eat at a Waffle House it was after bar hopping so I will compare it to a Denny's or Perkins and I would say with it's rock hard chairs and limited seating I was surprised real good food with a friendly staff with allot of patients to deal with allot of drunks the food came out fast and good everything was as we ordered it my only regret is that we don't have Waffle Houses near us! read more

If you are in Biloxi, you must eat at this Waffle House! We were visiting Biloxi while celebrating a three year olds birthday and we came to the perfect place. Everyone on the staff was beyond nice and made us feel like royalty! They sang Happy Birthday to the birthday girl Londyn and gave her dessert. They even went as far as to put the candles we had in the dessert and lit it for us. It was a truly amazing experience. It was like we were celebrating a birthday with family. i went to the waffle house, i believe on my last day in MS just a few hours before my flight. and my father had bought me a large stack platter of waffles. as a parting gift because he knows waffles are my favorite. and it was a wonderfull gesture. the waffles were great. and to my father's dismay i couldnt consume the whole stack. but i had said that i wanted to have some for later when i have to sit in texas for my two hour layover.the service at the waffle house was wonderful and one of the staff even gave me a free drink as a going away gift from the store to me. so, in short the store was great and what they make is great and their staff is great. i give it a 5 stars. read more

i can't believe I have lived in the South for ten years and this is the first time I have experienced a Waffle House. We stayed at the lovely new RV resort right behind this location and so decided to stop in for a bit of breakfast. I love that they have a to go option and so we decided to get ours to go. The staff was pleasant and kind to us, but it was very busy and so we had to wait for quite a while. It appeared that my waffle was forgotten and had to be re-cooked (yes, we did notice) so of course that took longer. I love the diner feel and food choices, yet it seems more of a fast food type of diner - a nice option for a quick meal. I ordered the pecan waffle and boy was it delicious! read more
