I live on the Left coast so Waffle House is not a thing here... when I travel back East for business it's nice to have an extra day to explore. This extra day started in KC for a trip to WH off the I-70 corridor. I have never seen so many 18-wheelers in my life. (truck stop across the street) The food is always consistent and good... and it's great to get a little sense of the local culture. Did not disappoint. Tried something new with covered hash browns; there's a reason they have these options - it's good. I accidentally interrupted my server taking a break out back for a smoke while waiting for my Uber but she was very nice and thanked me for coming. (I left her a really good tip but I don't think she knew at that point :) $45 in Uber's for a $13 meal? No big deal - I enjoyed the experience.

Don't go at night. Spencer is the most unprofessional rude employee I've meet. They had half the restaurant closed and wouldn't let us wait for a table.

Really nice customer service. Treats me like family. And really good food good pies. Love the Manger service

Great service! This was my first visit and I had a wonderful experience. My husband recommended coming for breakfast on our anniversary trip and the food was SO GOOD. We had "Skittles" as our server and we was very attentive and kind. Always had a warm smile! We would both highly recommend coming here!

When it comes to Waffle House, the question is, "is it clean?" Yes, this one is. Service is quick and the servers are friendly. The food is what you would expect from Waffle House. Nothing fancy, just good standard breakfast choices.

The service was wonderful at store #341. The staff was pleasant and the food was fresh and delicious! When I explained my allergy to lactose they were accommodating and help me order a meal that would be best. If you are near here you must stop in for a bite! I highly recommend it.

Pecan waffle, country ham, scattered, smothered and covered hashbrowns and chocolate chip waffle. Yes, my hubby is flipping me off.

The host, and the Yelp app quoted us 10-20 minutes, but we got there after 20 and ended up waiting about 15 more. This was unfortunate since there isn't a big waiting area and we were very much in the way, but the staff was nice and worked to get tables pushed together for us. After being sat it took about 10-15 minutes to get our order in, and about 15-20 for the food to come. Not bad at all with how busy this place is! All of our food came out hot and delicious at the same time! I had the cowboy Benedict with chicken fried steak, and gravy on the side. The steak was alright, pretty thin, and nothing surprisingly tasty about it. The eggs were delicious and my favorite part! The hashbrowns were fine, and the biscuit was also great--crispy edges which were perfect! I got a sticky biscuit with extra icing and really appreciated the amount of icing I got!! This was my favorite part of the meal, again the crispy edges made this such a great texture as well as the taste. Our server Amber did a great job taking care of our large party! She was nice, and checked on us several times. All the staff we came into contact with were very nice and friendly. The bathrooms were small and a little jenky, but otherwise the vibe of this spot was good. Nothing fancy at all, but what you'd expect for a quick turnaround family brunch spot. This would be my first choice for a boujee made-from-scratch meal, but for a large party this is relatively easy to get into--which has been my experience at 2 different locations near KC so far. I'm sure I'll be back with my group again next time we are in the area!

In my opinion, $22 for an Easter brunch buffet should mean hot food that won't run out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Our party of 10 arrived at 11:00am and all of the food in the buffet was cold. Even when they'd bring more of a certain item to replace on the buffet line, it wasn't warm. The only item that was hot was the prime rib at the carving station. Being pregnant, I felt extremely uncomfortable eating cold buffet food due to the increased risk of food poisoning, so I wasn't able to enjoy much beyond the room temperature biscuits and the last scrapings of the white gravy along with some green beans that were warmish. Defintely not worth the $22 a person. They also ran out of carrot cake on Easter of all holidays, which was a disappointment. We probably won't be back for a buffet at Sandy's, which is a shame because our family has eaten their Mother's Day buffet several times and it had been fine (not stellar, but fine). Also, just a personal opinion, but the constant use of bad AI pictures on their Facebook is so cringey. The Boomers might like it, but the younger crowd sees this sort of stuff and thinks "yikes." We'd rather see real pictures of your real food, not a cartoon depiction.

Friendly and welcoming - - nice to experience on a brisk, autumn Saturday. HOWEVER!! Be forewarned.... COME HUNGRY!!! The portions are very generous! And really, REALLY good! Our meals required TWO servers! My friend ordered the fried chicken dinner. It was BEAUTIFUL! GOLDEN brown. Her sides were broccoli and Mac and cheese. As a big fan of chicken livers (if you know, you know). At first I was a little concerned they were over cooked. But nope! They were JUST RIGHT Goldilocks! I had mashed potatoes with white gravy - - OUTSTANDING. Green beans with smoked ham. Nicely prepared. It's JUST LIKE grandma used to make. We shall return again soon. Oh - - the prices? Incredible. $13.99 for my dinner which I EASILY brought home 2/3 to 3/4 of the livers. My companions fried chicken $14.49 plus she was able to choose which pieces she preferred!

The menu is MASSIVE! I would recommend previewing it on its website rather than being overwhelmed by all of the choices. I ordered the Tri-Tip-Dip Deluxe. The ciabatta was fabulous. The beef tender. I loved the grilled onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese option. VERY GOOD! I had delicious sweet potato fries. Awesome! Creamy inside and crispy crunch on the outside. Best sweet potato fries I've had yet in the KCMO area. My husband enjoyed Bob's Big Burger Deluxe with Blue Cheese. He shared a bite with me. The burger was JUICY and grilled to perfection. He chose French fries and scarfed 'em up. I would happily have given this place a five star review. But for some reason, 90% of the patrons were all seated in one area - OUR area. While our sweet server was running her tail off, attempting to meet all of our and others needs, three servers were chit chatting in plain sight. I blame the manager on duty for lacking organizational discipline. #btw - the sandwiches were so large, we will order just one next time and share! This first visit, we were able to enjoy our leftovers the next day for lunch.

It seemed to be placed under a heat lamp until the meat was dried out, than slathed with brown gravy just before serving. I received one carrot, a piece of potato and mashed potatoes drowned in brown gravy. Edible, but not worth what we were charged. For me, the highlight was going to be Apple Cobbler a la Mode. The presentation was spectacular, but the menu clearly stated that this was baked in their kitchen. I took one spoonful and it was still partially frozen. I sent it back, and was told it would be put back in the oven, but it was back in two minutes, and the plate was piping hot. I asked if went back into the oven, and was told it was put into a microwave oven. It was at best luke warm, so I ate the ice cream and left the entire cobbler, less two small spoonfuls, on the table. I was offered a to go box, which I refused. I was there with my sons, who didn't want me to make a scene. Had I been there by myself, I would have had a long, difficult conversation with the manager. I may go back for breakfast (which is served all day), but not for lunch or dinner. I would have gotten the same level of food if I bought a Healthy Choice frozen dinner.
