Our party of 10 arrived at 11:00am and all of the food in the buffet was cold. Even when they'd bring more of a certain item to replace on the buffet line, it wasn't warm. The only item that was hot was the prime rib at the carving station. Being pregnant, I felt extremely uncomfortable eating cold buffet food due to the increased risk of food poisoning, so I wasn't able to enjoy much beyond the room temperature biscuits and the last scrapings of the white gravy along with some green beans that were warmish. Defintely not worth the $22 a person. They also ran out of carrot cake on Easter of all holidays, which was a disappointment. We probably won't be back for a buffet at Sandy's, which is a shame because our family has eaten their Mother's Day buffet several times and it had been fine (not stellar, but fine). Also, just a personal opinion, but the constant use of bad AI pictures on their Facebook is so cringey. The Boomers might like it, but the younger crowd sees this sort of stuff and thinks "yikes." We'd rather see real pictures of your real food, not a cartoon depiction.

They offer daily specials, weekly trivia contests, and a live music. Entertainers generally play live music several nights a week. Sinclairs host mostly acoustic performers, mainly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainers feature guitar playing solo artists in the bar area. As for the food... it's all pretty tasty. Served in an upscale fashion. And worth mentioning is THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEATLOAF I have ever eaten outside of my own kitchen; and yes, possibly even better than my own... which speaks volumes because I'm generally an excellent cook and extremely particular diner. (Not bragging - just emphasizing that my standards are high). This meatloaf is hearty, rich, and moist, with a firm meaty texture (Not over done with fillers). It's cut generously and served over freshly mashed potatoes topped with a complex & flavorful sauce I'd liken to a rich brown gravy with a hint of herbs & possibly a tad bit of steak sauce for good measure... Its the star. I just wished they served this on their daily menu! Speaking of... their entire menu is thoughtfully made, and the chef deserves major kudos for their talents in the kitchen. We told her we knew what we wanted to order but she said she was only getting drinks for now. We said that was fine and we ordered our drinks, a soft drink and an iced tea. She brought those (right around the corner from our booth, so close by) and said she would be back for our orders. She was back at 12:28. By that time both of our drinks were empty, she took our orders (we ordered the same as last time, 2 of the $15 special cheeseburger meals, so the comparison between this visit and our last visit was interesting. No refill or comment about a refill so, when one of the ladies (expediter, maybe manager?) was walking by we asked if we could get refills and she promptly brought us each refills. Our server came by and said she would be bringing us our rolls soon, and would check to see if we needed any more refills of our drinks. Nothing arrived. The expediter brought our meals to us at 12:39 and asked if everything was okay. We mentioned that they were missing mustard but we could just get it on the side. We also asked about the rolls and she noticed that we had never received those, which are usually the first thing they bring to the table when taking drink orders. She said she would be right back with our condiments, as well as our rolls, and she said she would bring us refills for our drinks. The expediter had all of that back within a minute. By this time all other tables in our servers area had departed, and one new couple arrived, so there were two tables to serve. We had heard they had been working with some new cooks so that could be why our hamburgers were not as good as previously. First of all, they did not seem to be 10 ounces as advertised and received previously. We get more meat on our burgers at Whataburger. These burgers seemed to be about 8 ounces, maybe 7. In addition, they did not have any of the signature grill marks that provide the flavor to the burger so the burgers were actually less flavorful than at Whataburger. We only mention that since that is normally the reason for paying a premium price is for a premium made burger. Today at HH was not. Our server stopped by to drop off the ticket and asked us if we needed anything else. We asked if we could get refills and she asked if we wanted them at the restaurant or to go (we were not finished with our meals). We said to go would be fine. It was now after 1:00 so we needed to go somewhere to eat. As we were leaving the nice lady at the front thanked us for coming and the expediter also thanked us. I accidentally interrupted my server taking a break out back for a smoke while waiting for my Uber but she was very nice and thanked me for coming.
