4/11/26 We had a MARVELOUS breakfast at First Watch. Seating was easy, because our wise daughter-in-love requested seating for our group of six. Our server, Kim, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She promptly served me my hot coffee. It was mild and HOT! Just as I love it. My husband ordered OJ. It was super fresh - - yes, I tasted it - - and delicious. I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It is a VERY generous serving. I brought over half of it home! Delightfully plated, it was brimming with flavors. Delicious. My husband, the lover of all things "hash" ordered the Farmhouse Hash. I'll be ordering that the next time - - we shall return! - - it looked amazing. Others at the table? Son ordered French Toast, grandson #1 ordered blueberry pancakes (he shared a bite. STUPENDOUS! Large, plump FRESH blueberries in two HUGE pancakes) a side of biscuits and gravy AND a side of bacon. He's a growing boy!! His younger brother chose the Power Wrap. The fussiest eater in the group, he proclaimed it DELICIOUS!! (No mushrooms please. I told you he is fussy.) The DIL chose The Traditional breakfast and it did not disappoint. The serving dishes and utensils are first rate. The settings are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxing and COMFORTING. Hi - I went with Family on 7/25 for breakfast. We were seated quickly even though it was busy -that was a plus . One person ordered the works omelet - no mushrooms. Guess what ?-it had mushrooms. 2 others ordered the traditional breakfast both over medium . One came out definitely over hard the other had an over easy and over med/hard . That is impressive because the eggs were cooked ar the same time. The eggs that came out hard were sent back and one cane out hard the other almost over easy. Again impressive because the eggs were cooked together. Everyone's breakfast potatoes were overdone on the outside ( had quite a fee bitter bites) and super firm on the inside. I dined with a friend here today. Our experience was excellent and without issue. The server in our section stood out from the typical stereotype. Johnny, was his name. He was a super nice young man. You could tell that he took pride in his work, and really enjoyed it. I'm sure that's why he was so good at it. He was glad to be there today, and happy to serve us. As it showed in everything he did. With grace and efficiency, he greeted us, took our orders, served them quickly, and checked in on us regularly... making sure we wanted for nothing. The food we were served was expertly prepared, paying attention to our individual preferences which were executed perfectly. My friend is one who doesn't like her food to be touching each other, and they served it to her as she had requested; That in itself, made our meal a pleasant one. I can't say enough about how smoothly our visit went. We left smiling and satisfied. We'll absolutely be returning again. And hopefully, Johnny won't be scooped up by yet another establishments manager, after an impressive service perfectly executed. A very yummy breakfast! I got the million dollar sandwich and I would get it again! I maybe would ask for a different side than the salad next time. My dad really enjoyed the steak and queso hash. The service was great and we especially love that they basically have piping hot coffee waiting for you at the table. The wait was pretty long, over 30 minutes, so be prepared for that if you go on a weekend. They do try to bus tables as quickly as possible. I am a true fan of First Watch and have been for many years. Today's visit, has been another level. Do yourself a favor, go in, and try the summer menu item, Elote Breakfast Burrito. If you wanna talk about a beautiful presentation, a flavor explosion, and something that you probably won't be able to finish at the restaurant, this menu item is for you. Food is made fresh and delicious. Chocolate chip pancakes and bacon from kids menu. Elotes Burrito is spicy with corn, chorizo, avocado and potatoes is enough for 2 meals or 2 people. Service is okay but you do have to ask for items there is no anticipation on projected needs like boxes to go, refills, or extra napkins. My sister and I went in for breakfast around 10am Sunday, she put us on the waitlist on the app which is nice to use. When we arrived there were a lot of people waiting-we went in checked with this Hostess and she said it would be about 10 min. They have a community table which no one was at so we asked about sitting there. First she said No because it was the kitchen that was backed up but then a Manager came by and said it was fine. Our server came by took our drink order while we looked over the menu. I ordered the Morning Meditation juice which is my Fave, my sister ordered the Kale drink. We decided on sharing the breakfast tacos since it was plenty(3)tacos. I also ordered a side of fruit, and a side of the potatoes. We split it up and still had a taco left over. Love this place! After reading reviews I was skeptical that we'd find a table at a reasonable time on a Saturday. We walked up, and were greeted with a table for 2! What?! Unreal! The hostesses were friendly, helpful and guided us to our tables and gave us the name of our server. She was great! Had the answers to our questions and sold me on the Kale tonic fresh juice. Great! I usually make a smoothie every day after the gym but this Saturday I decided to rest-this was balanced to perfection like one of my vegetable smoothies. My wife had the BLT Benedict, and I had the Market Hash with bacon. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, and soft and steamy on the inside. I can practically still taste them! It also had Feta cheese sprinkled onto it. That's a new taste for me in the morning but I'd recommend jt. I wanted something on the healthy side? Hah! I guess this was it. The portions were fair! It's nice to see a place that doesn't share me 20$ just to give me more food. I'll take a plate for 12$ and half a smaller portion ANYDAY! My only complaint was the coffee was okay...a little sour tasting for my taste. The restaurant itself was the perfect volume, nice lighting, great views out the big glass windows. We were on errands in Blue Springs Mo and happened to see the restaurant, First Watch on SW Highway 7. As we entered we were greeted immediately by the hostess who was very friendly and showed us to our table. I noticed the seating area is very clean and spacious. We reviewed the menu and did notice that on the menu there are many options for gluten free. We chose the "2 for you" lunch special. For the sandwiches we had the Roast Beef and havarti, and the Monterey club. Both sandwiches were great and my date had the gluten free bread which she said was excellent. Our salads were the "Superfood Kale" and the "Cobb" Both were fresh and tasty. Our waitress was Ella, she was very friendly and was well versed with the menu. Our meals were delivered in a very timely manner. I highly recommend first watch in Blue Springs, and if you're lucky enough you may have Ella serving you. read more

New location... same franchise. My wife is a big fan so we patronize first watch often. I had the Carnitas Burrito, it was just ok. I missed it but was not wowed by it. I also had the Watermelon wake-up. ...it was not for men it had addes syrup and juat didnt hit the spot. The staff were nice, location clean and food came out quick. Decided to try first watch and ordered brunch through uber eats. My wife had the trifecta which was totally flavorless and tasted a little sub par from IHOP. I had a skillet and added chorizo and green chilies. Normally I get something similar at Ginger Sue in Lees Summit which is amazing. This was less than mediocre. Half my potatoes were still crunchy. I couldn't find any green chilies. After eating about half of it, my stomach felt so bad that I didn't try the biscuits and gravy which could have been good, we will never know. read more

The all time breakfast favorite for our family. Unlike other places this one comes across as healthier. The Trifecta is my favorite with choice of eggs, waffle, and a protein. Various styles of Egg Benedict also never disappoint. The coffe is really good too. The wife gets the bowls and she likes them. Overall a 10/10 great place with excellent service. I believe this place was very over hyped when it first opened, and when I visited here over a year later, it still seemed to be the same. We enjoyed being served by Jenna and it had been several visits since we were seated in her section. She is fast, friendly, and efficient! Peyton brought our food to the table and she always has a nice smile and personality. Jenna and Peyton are some of your star servers (and there are others!) For over a year of almost weekly visits, I once again ordered the Works omelet and wife had the ham and gruyere omelet. Always yummy and filing. She used her birthday reward coupon and we thank you for sending that. I'm waiting to use mine in the next visit. It's been a while since we have managed to arrive AND get a table. I was excited to see mimosas on the menu. We made our selections. My mimosa arrived with a different sparkling wine than advertised. My server did not mention the reason. I was hungry and thirsty, so I didn't say anything. We proceeded to wait approximately 45min for our meal. We did not do a special order. Our order consisted of eggs, bacon, a waffle, a breakfast skillet, and a turkey burger. We had to ask about how long our food would take. (This after 45 min.) We were offered more tea. (When we arrived there was no waiting, immediate seating. While we waited, only one table, in the patio section, received food. When we FINALLY received our food, the food was ok. It could be considered warm at most. I requested over medium eggs. They were over hard. My waffle wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. I had to ask that empty glasses be removed so we had room to eat. I did eat my food and did not send it back because I was so hungry. When my husband told the cashier why we were dissatisfied she did not care. *He did not asked for a discount. We won't be back. read more
