I haven't been to a Waffle House in years, and this one was just as good as I remembered. The cook smoke his cigarette before preparing the food so I just KNEW it was going to filled with love JK! Seriously, the meal was awesome from the waffle to the bacon to the coffee.

Just like every morning I stopped here this morning was no different I left disappointed sub this time I didn't even get food because we couldn't make it past the ordering. I ordered a omelette, hashbrowns and a large coffee. After taking Almost 10 minutes to figure up my order with the calculator I thought I heard the lady say $25I thought she had missed spoke until I got credit card slip. It her almost 10 minutes to write down the order calculate on a calculator how much it was going to be and ring it up. I was on my way to work and I didn't have time for them to try to figure out what went wrong because it this point it took two of them. And at this time they hadn't even started making the food.

The location is a smaller Waffle House. Only a 6-7 booths, 8 smaller counter seats and 6 tall counter seats. If you go on the weekend mid morning-afternoon you can expect to wait. They will take your name and seat you in order of arrival. We were seated quickly, only a 15min wait. We were seated and our waitress came quickly took our order, brought our drinks and within 10minutes of being seated our food arrived. Everything was correct and cooked correctly. The coffee is hot and average coffee, the tea is good and OJ is fresh. We ordered Steak, eggs, tomatoes, hash browns, chocolate chip cookie, pecan waffle, bacon and toast. The only negatives of this location are the size and our waitress disappeared for 20minutes without notice. We're not sure where she went or who was suppose to take over for her but we had to ask another server for refills, syrup and extra water. The server behind us was awesome in comparison. She was on top of it and checked on her customers 4 different times in that 20minutes our server was MIA.

Located in Old Milford, This restaurant looks like a diner, but I love their menu. It's a mix of tapas style, brunch, salads, sandwiches, has a speciality section for lobster with a unique drink menu. I love it! The inside is very welcoming and love the decor. Not too huge but definitely an intimate setting. Since it was a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We ordered: Drinks: -Paul Ponnelle Pinot noir (France) -Pierre Delize sparkling Blanc de Blanc (France) -Garage Beer Lime Lunch: -Chicken salad club sandwich -Arugula salad-grilled lemon vinaigrette, radish and Parmesan Potato cakes- whipped feta & apple butter We got our meals right away and I it was delish! Love the lemon vinaigrette as my dressing for my salad. The combination of the apple butter and whipped feta went so well with my potato cakes. I tried a bite of my fiancée's sandwich and loved the toasted bread and the chicken salad had great flavor! Our server was Hannah and she was very kind and attentive. What a great experience! The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

My husband and i stopped in last week for breakfast. There were approx 4 tables seated and two new tables of two that came in behind us. Honestly the entire place felt dirty and sloppy. We sat for 15 minutes while the only waitress in the restaurant took care of all the tables including the two that came in after us because she apparently knew them. Both tables got their drinks and orders input to the cook before we were even approached. (We were never approached) We left. With one cook who did nothing to help the waitress and one waitress who honestly looked tired and sloppy and could not be bothered acknowledging us or get us water and coffee , we just didn't feel like the breakfast would measure up to our former visits. We went to Bob Evans instead.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, served with provolone, arugula, bacon, and Southwest ranch dressing, with a side of well seasoned fries. It was quite good with a decent piece of chicken. My husband had the turkey club wrap, with the same contents, but chose onion rings as his side. They were fresh and tasty. A quick and satisfying lunch. Bonus: one parking spot designated for veterans. Thank you.

We were one of three tables occupied in the place. The decor was lovely, albeit totally akin to a hotel restaurant. We sat at a booth table that was very comfortable. There is individual LED lighting on each table bright enough to see the menu, which was great. Our server was energetic, helpful, and she kept a close eye on us without being intrusive. Here are our thoughts about the food: We read that the croquettes and crispy lasagna were dishes Pennyflower is known for, so we ordered those. The croquettes are gooey and rich but came to us barely warm. The lasagna was a very browned huge slab of layered pasta with ricotta and surrounded by an arrabbiata sauce. The flavors did not quite hit anything special for us, and the crispy aspect was way too much so. I also missed the meat, as we do prefer meat in our lasagna (I did order knowing it did not have meat). The burger was...well, just a burger, but the fries were fantastic. The best dish of the night was the house salad. It was perfectly dressed with bits of candied almonds, feta, and thin slices of fennel. We would order this over and over

A couple notes I'd share with the restaurant: the entrée prices feel a bit high, and the gravy was unfortunately too thick and under-seasoned for our taste. The place is bright and friendly with what appeared to be many regular patrons. Our server was nice and helpful. I ordered an omelette with a hotcake and he got two eggs over easy with goetta. Our meal came with toast too. We ordered rye and whole wheat. Candidly, the food didn't have any flavor. The potatoes were the most bland. My veggie omelette had large sliced vegetables inside vs smaller pieces. The huge hotcake was thick and I'm guessing that's the difference between a hotcake and a pancake. It was good but not great. Glad we stopped by. Atmosphere very nice, service was great. We won't return due to the food. Just not good, no flavor.
