Other patrons mentioned the same feeling as we were basically sitting at the waiting area. I don't pretend to know why this change was made. Perhaps it was a business necessity or a temporary situation. What I do know is that it isn't working for atmospheres. I truly enjoyed the feel of it. I have places I brunch where that togetherness dining works so it isn't a crowd issue for me. The Junction in Charleston is a great example of close dining that works. My breakfast was good but husband's scrambled eggs were too scrambled and dry. It only appeared as one egg also. Their grits had a great creaminess and my sourdough was awesome.
