This place was about a mile from where we stayed overnight at Dothan when I pulled in the parking lot. I got the feeling. It was a place that locals went. When I went inside that was confirmed it was nothing fancy, but I could tell it was a place for a good breakfast and I was spot on! The food was fantastic and plentiful and the service was fast. Price was fair. This is a place to go back to for breakfast or lunch. There were several groups of people in there that you could tell this was their local Saturday morning breakfast and there was one large group of family maybe a dozen or more people. I wasn't expecting a whole lot of this place located in Dothan Alabama. I thought it'd just be OK. Upon entering, you could tell it's the locals that come here and for good reason the food is really good. I'll just leave it at that. A great find while in the area. We arrived early enough on Saturday morning to get a seat right away. We ordered coffee and water. I enjoyed the variety of creamers but found the coffee a bit bitter. We ordered the Veggie omelet with sliced tomatoes and biscuit and 1 chicken fried steak with cheese grits and chocolate chip pancakes. My omelette was great with sautéed veggies, biscuit also great but part of my tomatoes were very under ripe. The chicken fried steak and cheese grits were very good. The chocolate chip pancakes were terrific. The restaurant is a true diner and pretty clean. Javier our waiter was great, funny and attentive. I had the fried pork chop dinner with potato salad and black eyed peas! My pork chops were big! They were seasoned very well and tasted very good although they were a bit dry for my taste. The sides did not disappoint!! Crystal had the 3 egg omelette. It was DELICIOUS!! Cooked perfectly! This HUGE omelette came with 2 sides and she chose home fries and pancakes!
