I did not have any food but they had hand written boards with boneless wings for 5.95 and some other bar food. Apparently playing darts is big here because along one wall is nothing but dart boards and the same on half of the other. They have high top tables, a bar and some regular tables; Formica type if you know what I mean. The waitress, Rebeca, was friendly it is obvious this is a local hangout. It doesn't rate as a classy dump as others I have been to but it is somewhere you would pick as a local hangout if you don't mind the smoke and live close by and wanted a cold one. I have to give it a 2+ and it is a place that seems to attract older crowd or it could attract biker crowd possibly. I would probably go again with my bike riding guy friend because he seems to know everyone there.

I am not sure what is going on with this "Awful House" but they need to get it together. My experience last night was ridiculous. My wife and I usually go here when we want breakfast but for now on we will use the driveway as the road to Cracker Barrel locates right behind this place. We came in around 8:15 pm sat down got our beverages. After getting my first cup of coffee I never seen our server again until 8:58pm. She came over and asked "Did they not get your order"? Once we seen that our server was just now on putting in our order we told another server not to worry about it because we are leaving. We sat there for 45 minutes. I do not think we will be going back. I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and 2 of your evening shift employees were at a van acting suspicious as they looked around hesitantly much like they were buying their fix for their evening shift. If you can't provide a better service then maybe you should look at replacing your staff. We have been here on multiple occasions but after experiencing similar issues at other Chattanooga locations I think we are finally just done with the BS. I did not notice any handicapped spaces but the lot is small and paved so travel is pretty easy. There are several signs on the exterior wall cautioning to lock your vehicle as they are not responsible for stolen items but nothing appeared nefarious. Seating is a combination of booths and tables plus several stools along the counter to the right. We seated ourselves and the server came by quickly for our drink orders and dropped off the menu. The menu is pretty extensive with many options as well as the ability customize anything. We decided on the Cleveland special and the Western omelet. With a cup of coffee, this came to about $24. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive. The first thing noticed is the biscuits are huge. They are easily the size of a saucer. They are a bit crumbly but that makes them great for covering in gravy. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the gravy was very good, and the sausage appears to be locally sourced. The omelet was also huge and completely filled. The veggies were sautéed perfectly and made for a great meal. The service was just fine but could have been better. I had asked if the sausage was locally sourced and the waitress did not know. She never came back to let me know if she had an answer. I had to ask twice for a refill and eventually waved down a different server. We also needed to ask twice for jelly packets. While not terrible by any means, it was unusual for what we expect from these type local restaurants which seem to pride themselves on great service as well as great food. This little diner is a must stop for a great meal. Just have a little patience with the service and you'll be glad you came.
