The southern-most staple that you can EVER find, by far, is probably Waffle House -- with many locations and splendid service, you're bound to find something unique in every different location that you go to. Me and my friends happened to go to the one off of State Route 121 in Grapevine, and to be fair, this was probably one of the most energetic Waffle Houses that I've ever been to. Not only were they engaged with us on making sure we felt welcome, but they paid extra attentiveness to making sure our experience was one that could not beat ANY other Waffle House that I have been to. Thankfully, that week, they had a special where the Grand Slam combo was on discount -- so I was able to get a hold of that opportunity. The eggs were cooked the way I liked them (sunny side up), as well as the pancakes! Talk about the grits for a second. Not only were they thoroughly cooked, but they were also thoroughly seasoned with the Southern love that every one deserves. Ambiance was a little bit on the dark side, but the energy inside the restaurant made up for it. I'd definitely come back to this location again to try more Waffle House delicacies!

It had been awhile since I had eaten at Waffle House and this was a welcome return to their brand at a new location for me. The service and upbeat ambiance at this store was notable right off the bat when I walked in. Either these people really like working together here or they should be in acting! It sets a great tone for the customers! The food was amazing! Of course to me, Waffle House's All-Star Special is as good as a store bought breakfast gets. I upgraded to their latest creation, the Strawberry Shortcake Waffle. It was really good, but so rich and so much sugar I am not sure I would order it again. But hey, if you can do lots of sugar and richness, you gotta try it because the flavor was really good.

This has been one of the cleanest waffle houses I've ever been too! It's so nice and they are so quick with the food. The service was great and everyone was really friendly! Also the music was bumping and it was an overall nice time with delicious waffles!

This is a Waffle House - like most others, yet also, different. The food is hot and fast and with just that right amount of WH grease, yet this fairly new establishment is clean and with a diverse clientele. Alexa, our server, took great care of us and represents the WH brand excellently. I had to go with the hashbrowns - customizable in so many ways. The flavor of these was in keeping with WH standards, and the toppings were laid on perfectly. Definitely a place to visit when you are craving WH without the drunken bloodshed.

This was my first time at a waffle house, and I truly enjoyed myself! I love the concept that you can see the cooks prepare your food through the open kitchen. I came here with my friend around 8:30 pm for breakfast for dinner, and it was relatively quiet. We had amazing servers, and the waffle house team were laughing. You could tell they were happy to be around each other and they were so attentive to us. The food that I tried was very very greasy. It's not something I'd eat often, but I still enjoyed the cheesesteak hashbrown bowl. Yes, i added gravy to it, too, which was a great idea lol Also, the waffle was so hot when they served it! I ate the whole thing. Overall I liked all the options on the menu, and the service was fantastic!

Waffle House. 'Nuff said, right? Actually no... This is, without doubt, one of the best ones I've been to. 5 stars for real! EASY to find and park. Ambiance, LOL, Waffle Houseesque. BUT seriously, CLEAN, well maintained on BOTH sides of the counter! Staff was incredible CUSTOMER focused! Food was prepared to the finer points I asked for! I wanted darker waffles (Maillard Process) as the butter, egg and flour starch give it the full flavor to make the syrup come alive! THIS location did them perfectly! The staff understood exactly what I wanted. While waiting, the staff continued to look after me, treating me like I was a family member (a liked one). Extra effort went into packing my meal to go and then double checking! I should add, this place was packed! A crowd waiting and a hungry body in every seat. The register was constantly ringing someone up (well, guess none have actually rang in the last 45 years, but you more mature will know what I meant). A note, even the exterior was well manicured and clean! No wonder this place was BUSY.

We had two servers and both were kind and helpful with taking our order and getting drinks and food out on time! The restaurant is mood-lit and vibey. It's a calm atmosphere and their bar area is stunning. I got the fries and friends, which came with three dipping sauces. This is a very generous portion and my boyfriend and I were unable to finish it between the two of us- would be great to share with 4 people, in my opinion! I also got the Brussel sprouts, which I did finish. They are cooked to perfection and have an incredible garlic sauce. They used to have grapes mixed in, which I LOVED! However, they have since changed the menu. I understand it was an odd pairing and maybe guests didn't want to try it, but it was great!!! Sad to see it change, but still good! My boyfriend and I both got the great rum punch, and it packed a punch! Although l couldn't taste the alcohol on the sweet drink, I could feel it! We had a great time and will be back. We wanted to recommend the charcuterie board, we get it most times we come! They always have fresh and seasonal options they put on the board and have even made a fully vegetarian board for me before, they're great!

He was personable, helpful, and attentive throughout our meal. We were excited for him becoming a first time uncle a couple hours before our meal. Started with an iced tea, which was fresh brewed, and some fried green tomatoes. They only hiccup for us was it seemed like they were served with white tartar sauce, instead of remoulade sauce. The fried green tomatoes were very lightly battered and perfectly fried. Delicious! My wife liked the tartar sauce, but I was disappointed. You don't find pickle chunks in remoulade sauce. For our entrées, she had the Reuben and fries, and I had the fried chicken strips and waffle (also came with fried eggs). Both were really good; huge portions we could not finish.

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
