We came in at Noon and the lot was full, so was the WH all tables full. Was a bit noisy and caught a table right away. We waited 10 minutes to get waited on. Once waited our coffee and Tea came out without a Hitch. Our meals came out in 7 minutes. Cindy is a Great waiter, she been there since this WH Opened some 20 years. Our meals came out great. My grits came as order, Cheese eggs a bit overdone, Sauage perfect, Raisin toast bit overdone. all in all, good. Cindy checks on us often. She rates a 10. Note If you want quick service order up your Meal with your drinks Plus the. The place has not been remodeled or reconditioned since it opened at least 20 years ago. Food is good but the air blows so cold your food is aso cold in minutes. If you want quick service it is ok but local diners are same price with better atmosphere. read more

Amazing food. Nothing more to say besides a great place to eat at any time of the day or night.

SO LANA DEL REY. Vintage americana slaytastic. Kitchen was super noisy and we were seated right next to it, where we could see a literal mess of appliances. But I chalk that up to an authentic waffle house experience. Our server was really nice and the food was suprisingly really good. Perfect first time at a waffle house. Pretty awful. Eggs and toast were okay. Bacon undercooked and rubbery. Hash browns barely cooked and in a pile of grease. We went for breakfast Saturday & Sunday while visiting Haggerstown. The food was ok, good enough for us to go two days. Lynda our waitress was amazing and friendly. She was fast and checked in the table frequently. They do need to use something different to clean the tables because even after wiping the they still felt sticky to me. And they need to wipe down the seats more. read more

Waffle House is my new favorite fast food restaurant! I can't believe that I never heard about this until recently when I took a road trip down the West Virginia to visit my friend! Who doesn't enjoy waffles and breakfast food at any hours? This fast food chain is usually open 24/7! Not only do they offer crispy yet fluffy waffles with or without chocolate, they also offer burgers and hash browns! When our friends and I took a pit stop here, we ordered an omelet, burger and chocolate waffles to share, and the meal was very satisfying with sweet and savory flavors, great and efficient service, and surprisingly clean ambiance! The burger definitely get the spot with its juicy meat and refreshing lettuce and tomatoes. The size was not too big or small, which filled me up just right. However the hash brown was a little lacking in flavors and a little oily. Other than that, I had a lovely meal! read more

They get a zero from me! All Waffle Houses are open all the time and we showed up at 8 pm and restaurant had customers but they had homemade sign on door that they were closed and we went in anyway and were told they are closed until 9 pm!! This was terrible! read more

At every Waffle House, they greet you when you come in the front door--they shout it out from behind the counter. Dependable comfort food. Stopped here for breakfast before our trip to Florida on Allegiant Air at nearby Hagerstown Regional Airport. Wife had the biscuits and sausage gravy. I had the pecan waffle and two eggs over easy. Review is about how filthy the restaurant is. I sat at the counter and therefore saw everything - butter packets, creamers, and various other garbage littered the floor, piles of waffle batter on the counter, just filthy. I was afraid I would see mice next. Busy as they are hard to believe someone isn't held responsible for cleaning throughout the day. Woman at the door who seemed to be there to help people find seats sneered at me when I suggested they could keep the restaurant cleaner and said "They're too busy." Really?? It's a health hazard, lady. Hope for their sake they don't get cited by the health department. Folks work hard there. Someone should also be paying attention to basic cleanliness. read more

A friend was in town and we wanted to grab a quick bite before he headed back to the airport for his flight home. In the interest of time and seeing as how It was less than a mile from the house and just steps away from I-81, We decided on Waffle House. The Hagerstown Waffle House is no different than any other city or towns Waffle House. Their menu doesn't appear to have changed since my family and I would make the occasional stop on one of our many vacations some 30-40 years ago... And that's a good thing. The reliability of WH is unmatched among breakfast establishments. Nothing has changed because it's never needed to. You can be sure that whatever you order will be just as you expect it. I'll have the pork chops and eggs over easy with a side of hash browns please. The only downside of this particular establishment is it's almost always crowded. Beyond that, you can't go wrong with this place. Be it an early morning off to work breakfast or a late night after bar hopping and hangover preemptive strike, Waffle House has you smothered and covered. read more

I have stopped in several times for to-go orders on my way home from work, and this place consistently has speedy service and hot food. Sometimes when I arrive to pick up my order, they are so busy that they're full. Other times there is no one in the restaurant. I get consistent quality every time. Nasty weird food. I like the feel of the restaurant and the staff both times were friendly but the food...oh my the food. Just bad. I don't even understand what they do to their hashbrowns/potatoes. Everything reminds me of the fake plastic food you buy in a little mesh bag to go with the fake little kitchen kids play with. If you were to eat the fake little food I bet your wouldn't find a difference from Waffle House food. read more
