In contrast to the memes, the service at this Waffle House location was actually really nice! Our server was chill and patient with us the whole time. My friends and I went here after a long day of pickleball. The inside was decently clean. I got their Hash Brown Bowl with sausage, eggs, and cheese for only $9.50. The bowl was really good. I don't expect too much out of Waffle House, but it's a convenient place to dine in at a cheap price with good breakfast food. My Uber driver told me about Waffle House and recommended it with such enthusiasm! Yet, I was underwhelmed and wished I saved my stomach for something better. The service at this location was good, but not the best, no complaints there. The food was alright. I expected more from all the hype, but it's nothing to rave about to my friends back home. One of the best Waffle Houses I've been to, if not the best. The service was immaculate. Each of the workers greeted everyone as they walked in and were very mannerable to the customers. Our server, Kenya, was very attentive to our needs. We did not have to ask for ANYTHING. She offered condiments, cream, sugar, etc. without us having to ask. When she brought my waffle out, she asked if it was too well done for me. It was a little brown, but I kept it. It still tasted good! The food was fresh and good. The bacon was not burnt (as it usually is at other WH locations), and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. They had the good music playing too. When we were leaving out, the manager (who was dressed in a nice Waffle House button down with slacks and a tie) held the door for us and was extremely nice. Horrible.. even for a Waffle House . Was told to be seated anywhere.. no tables, all tables occupied. Sit at "bar" seat, they had to clean off a plate ( totally understandable ). A server "Lee" was extremely rude asked what we wanted to order after we just sat down. Had a loud conversation with other employees about "weed water". Noticed this Waffle House on a route to our twice weekly therapy,was delighted because we eat at other Waffle House locations.Our waitress was very nice and efficient.The problem we had was the music was so loud we couldn't have conversation over breakfast and to some of the crew was singing loudly with the music.I understand the love of music but this is too loud.We will find another place to stop where we can enjoy breakfast and have quiet conversations read more

I work in this area so I stopped in to get breakfast to go before heading to my shift. They took my order promptly and got it to me in about 15 minutes. They were nice and friendly and multiple servers checked in with me to make sure my order had been taken since I was just sitting at the counter. Granted it's a Waffle House so the service/attitudes are kinda you get what you get but I've never had an issue with any of the servers or cooks. Here's a little about me: about 8 years ago whenever some friends and I would hit the town we would always end the night at Waffle House. It was never good, I always regretted it and I have secretly judged Waffle House lovers ever since. Fast forward to present day. David and I were hungry after I night out and, for some reason, I suggested Waffle House. I hadn't been in years, I wanted breakfast food and I figured anything was better than IHOP. We wandered into Waffle House and sat in a booth. We both decided on the "All Star" breakfast that I got with two eggs over easy, toast, grits, bacon and a waffle. Go big or go home, right? First of all, I was immediately impressed at how fast the food came out- we're talking less than 10 minutes for the both of us to be served. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the grits were great and the bacon was crispy. I had never actually had a Waffle House waffle before and it was perfect- nice and fluffy, the way a waffle should be. Could it be that I actually enjoyed something I got at Waffle House? I'm not sure if it's because our experience at Huddle House was bad, but David and I were both impressed by the service and food here. Maybe you have to go to Huddle House first to really experience the professionalism at Waffle House. Who knows? All I know is that our check was $20 and our food was delicious and we'll definitely be back. read more

I came in one evening after a night of partying and my waitress was the best! Took care of me and two others that came in after me. The other two customers got into a fist fight in the parking lot with some other people who I'm guessing they planned to meet there and my waitress, like the professional she was, yelled after the other two patrons. reminding them about their waffle which was just freshly made as soon as they ran out to confront their opponents. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I love Waffle House but this place needs to get their employees in line. On 1/21/23 we entered the restaurant where we were the only customers and there were three employees on staff. Not a single table was wiped down so we chose to sit at the bar. Not a single employee greeted us or even acknowledged that we were in the restaurant. After 10 minutes without a word being said to us we grabbed our stuff and left. Two weeks prior we had a similar experience with the tables where the staff was arguing over who would wipe them down. This went on throughout our meal and no one touched the tables. They also argued about dishes and we were forced to dine with plasticware since they said there were no clean forks. Absolutely ridiculous! As full time travelers we are thankful this is not the norm and we won't let it stop us from enjoying other locations but we will NEVER step foot in this location again. read more

Upon arriving and walking through the door I could see it had been maybe a busy morning. Yet, not one person acknowledged that my boyfriend and I had stepped in the building. So being the polite people we are, we just sat and waited to be acknowledged and to be seated. Watching almost everyone working that shift look at us and say nothing with some on the phone and some just standing around we waited about 10-15 minutes. We looked at each other as another pair of women walked in. Same thing, no one greeted them but instead they sat themselves and no one said a word that we had arrived prior to. I tried Waffle House at different locations and this one was by far the worst. I went in with my family at around 2pm and when we went in, we sat ourselves down. We waited a good 5 to 10 mins and got no service. My wife waved to the employees there and it seem like they pretended to not see us. Maybe they were doing a shift change because I saw them more interested in divided up the tips. Regardless nobody even said that they would get to us in a bit....nothing. Waited another 10 mins. and we had it. Left the place and went somewhere else where our business was wanted. As we left, nobody said anything or seem to care that we left. Will never go to this location again. Update: my review on this place has changed. I went there a few more times and service was much better. Everything was awful. There were four of us. It was pretty busy when we walked in as all the tables were taken so we sat at the bar. But there were 7 employees on the floor. After awhile our order was taken. Our server (I'm not including the persons name as everyone who works there serves begrudgingly) had no clue what she was doing. Grits was cold so it was one big blob, my friend ordered a salad which he wanted first but got last ONLY after our server was reminded. And we watched her as she picked through the lettuce bag picking the bad lettuce out into the garbage, but in truth all the lettuce was bad. So I asked it be take off our bill. The server probably didn't realize the lettuce was that bad because they were busy talking to a co-worker. I ordered a waffle and didn't get it. So I had to ask that be taken off our bill too. As a topper the cook sat down and was writing our food tickets out using g a calculator to add things up. So when I asked for things to be taken off he had to go back and recalculate. Such weirdness. I flat out told our server that my friends left zero tip because if the service. I left a small tip and told her the reason why. I was looking at stacked "clean" plates that had caked up food on the sides and bottoms. On a Friday night after the movies, my nephew and I wanted a quick bite and I noticed the new Waffle House had opened on the way home. I stopped and decided to dine in, since it's been forever I've had Waffle House. I was greeted and decided to order my usual which is either the all stars special or waffle with hash browns. That night it was kind of busy and I figured since this WH just opened that the employees were still training hence the reason why service was slow. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, although my server did apologized & 20 minutes for our food. I asked my for my waffle to be extra crispy (well done) and for my hash browns to be done the same but both came out soggy. I didn't complained I just ate. Hopefully next time they will get it right. I am really surprised to see such bad reviews. Either this location cleaned house on the staff or we just went during the right shift. We were greeted promptly when we walked in and grabbed a booth. The couple sitting at the table before us walked out of the restaurant right as we were getting out of our car. In the short time it took for us to walk inside the table was already cleaned off and set. Same thing when others left as well. Tables were promptly wiped down and set up for the next customers. Our server was very nice and attentive for the most part. It took a little while to get syrup for our waffles and to get our check, but they were crazy busy so it was understandable. Things happen. The food was hot and pretty good. I would highly recommend getting the country hash browns (they come with the sausage gravy). The prices, of course, are always great. The staff was not rude and no one was sitting around doing nothing. Everyone was pretty much busting butt the whole time. This place is pretty much day and night compared to the Behrman Hwy location. One visit over there was enough for us. We will never set food in that disgusting place again. read more
