Excellent service, nice atmosphere. My food was not as expected this trip. The grits were way too watery. I returned them and got hash browns. They were delicious. My bacon was cooked but not Crisp as I ordered it. I am not a fan of rubbery bacon. The coffee was hot and fresh. My eggs with cheese was perfect. In route to Dallas we stopped in for some breakfast. Had my traditional pork chops (lightly seasoned & smothered with onions) double hash browns (smothered & covered), wheat toast & iced sweet tea. My son ordered the 2 egg breakfast with bacon replacing his hash browns for cheese grits. I was very disappointed! My pork chops were salty, I barely had any onions in my hash browns and my tea was just ok! I truly expected better tea in LA! My son's grits were unbelievably thick & lumpy with barely any taste! However, we manage to eat our food for nourishment! Was gonna give this restaurant 2 stars but the superb service we received from Dannie garnered an additional star!! Our family just lives the food at this Waffle House. Always a friendly staff, fast service and yummy food.

Bad experience. The place is way too small with few tables. Definitely not a place for a slightly bigger group of 6-8 people. However the worst part was the service. Four employees, all with long sour faces completely ignoring the customers. There was 3 empty tables that where still unclean and the employees were making no effort to clean and make tables available. Sadly we left cause we were never gonna get served. Others that had sat down and were still not served also left and we found them at the next Waffle House. read more

My husband and I were there this morning. We waited for 10 minutes and were never acknowledged by anyone. As we got up to leave a smart mouthed waitress started mouthing off that we had not given them time enough to wait on us, REALLY, you all were not that busy. Won't go back! read more

Substantially more bustling and bigger than the one just down the road by Louisiana Downs. I had an attentive and pleasant waitress. I'd been to about five or six WHs in my day, and this is the first I actually had their (wait for it) waffle. It's surprisingly simple and good (like a better version of an eggo). read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. never waited on after 15-20 minutes of sitting. Guy never made eye contact and was just sitting up there reading orders to the cook. There were 6 other people in there and everyone already had their food but he still wouldn't come to our table. As we walked out he finally made eye contact and looked mad that we left. I went to asked about a Charge on my bill & a waitress that had nothing to do with my bill pops off to me & then started calling me bitch & said she would come upside my head but when I told her to to come on then she just started to cuss me out with the manager just let it happen. Let me start out by saying the food was really good, Waffle House food is always fantastic. The service however was terrible. We were seated and it took at least five minutes for our waitress to greet us and get our drink order, you could hear the workers in the back saying "Has anyone greeted them yet?", talking about my families table. Our waitress was very forgetful and not very good at taking our food and drink orders. She did not check on us but maybe twice the whole visit. She overcharged us for food items that she forgot or didn't know was part of the meal. The girls restroom was also terrible. The toilet is broken and would not flush. We will not be returning to this Waffle House anytime soon due to the very crappy service we received. read more

I miss Waffle House, and getting my hash browns scattered, smothered and double covered. The only chance we get to visit a Waffle House is when visiting family in the southern U.S. or passing through Ft Collins, Colorado which has the westernmost Waffle House location. Stay away from this Waffle House. Go into Bossier there are many locations there who treat customers professionally. Poor Service (no service) Employees are more interested in hiding from the customer than wanting to keep their jobs. We walked in to sit and the place was empty except for 3 employees. The Cook busily cleaning the floors. One waitress plopped down 2 menus without saying a word and kept going. Another couple entered and they were greeted and sat down where two waitresses were giving service. We walked out. Look at your security camera video for 1:55am to 2:10am on 1-27-2018 for proof of what happened. No Service, no greeting, no nothing. We went home and cooked. Worst place every!!! The only reason why I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give a negative 2 stars. We must have came in on training night because no one seems to be clear on their job.
