The people seemed nice and all and the waffles were okay (also their whipped spread was pretty good). The price was fair for what you get. However, the menu had minimal options compared to other similar places and the whole place felt gross. None of the staff wore masks or the people making food wore gloves. The napkin box was made of rusted metal. The silverware looked unclean. The tables looked unwiped and was sticky. And when the waitress handed us back our card, it was sticky with syrup. I took some family who live out of town to Waffle House for breakfast before we went shopping. This was hands down the most disgusting experience at a restaurant. Our waitress had a meltdown while we were there. Waited almost 20 minutes for a cup of coffee and 2 chocolate milks. Then had another waitress come over to figure out what we ordered. Then our waitress brings out our food with snot running down her nose and using her hands to wipe the snot which she did not wash her hands. What the hell!!!! I emailed the corporate office and they said they would have the owner contact me. WELL it's been a week and never heard a word from anyone. DO NOT GO HERE. Hand washing is not a priority and there is a chance your waitress will have SNOT running down their nose into their mouth!!!! And cleanliness is most definitely not a priority, as the place was dirty, even for a Waffle House. And if you have a complaint don't worry your health concerns will get ignored and no one will address it. read more

You know what to expect when you come to a Waffle House, for those not in the know it's a diner equivalent of a Denny's. The service here was a bit questionable, I felt like I was at the DMV. The waitress asked what I wanted and I said give me a minute in order to look over the menu. She didn't get back to me for another 7 minutes even though she was a few feet away from me helping another employee do dishes. Not only was I looking directly at her trying to get her to acknowledge me, I also tried to get the attention with every employee and got nothing. There were several people on staff with hardly anyone at the Waffle House, so it was just bad service. The waffles were a bit under cooked and the bacon was over cooked completely. My fiancé and I visited this location yesterday (November 6, 2021)....the food was DISGUSTING the only thing we enjoyed was my coca cola and her orange juice....if you are very hungry please go to the Royal Farms across the street from this location and if you do not like Royal farms please ride pass Waffle House on Pulaski Hwy.... I am honestly doing you a favor. When you must have breakfast the just do it. I had a nice waffle after a rough day at work. Friendly and attentive staff. Wish the seats were more comfortable. I like to sit at the counter and watch the staff do their "dance" somehow getting it all cooked, cleaned and served without crashing into each other. The staff are attentive and honest. OK, you either know Waffle House or you don't. for those who don't I suggest starting out at a different Waffle House before coming to this Awful House. WH is one of the most standardized joints in the country so they should all be fairly similar, right? It's only the quality of the staff that differs. Granted, I haven't been to this one in a few years but I've always thought it was bottom of the barrel compared to other WH's I've been to. It was the staff who made this WH a poor choice who were just not wanting to be there for the job at hand. High school kids who just didn't care. This is the best Waffle House I've ever been to. It's not only clean, but the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home.

Good drunk people or hangover food. Cheap, quick, easy. I have never heard of/been to a Waffle House before coming here from the West Coast. I was sold on the pricing alone! Coffee is great. Service is always great although they mess up my hashbrown orders pretty much every time-- they're always willing to fix them though. Pop on in if you're curious. I don't understand what all the fuss is all about. On the way to Florida this was our first pit stop for breakfast, we ended up wishing we went another few miles to have some McDonalds breakfast menu. The waffles were stale, McDonald sausages are twice as better than what I got, iced tea was - hot, topped off with 5 pieces of ice cubes. Ahem. The waitress was nice, but obviously not happy with what she's doing, and more occupied with what was going on with her staff friends. I will never come back to the Waffle House. read more

The food was standard Waffle House fare. The service was very friendly, as others have noted -- and generally efficient. Here's the problem: This place is filled with flies. Dozens of flies. Sit by the window, and there can be two or three on that pane of glass, and you can look down and see them on the other panes. They are on the floor. Two of them were on the sign above the register when I paid. The staff seem oblivious to it -- but the flies were everywhere on July 14, 2019, at 6 PM. We almost walked out immediately. The food is ok, but it is expensive to go there for breakfast. The best part about it is the homefries. The layout of the resturant is strange and gets crowded quickly on weekend mornings, but there aren't too many, if any, good breakfast places in Have De Grace. (Maybe some good brunches) read more

Its a waffle house.. the foods is greasy, the waffles are delicious.. This particular waffle house has a manager that yells at the cooks enough to make me uncomfortable.. the best value is their all star combo where you get a ton of food for $7. The menu shows a drink, but you have to pay extra which is dumb. They do have a dollar menu. Their grill is right out in the open, so you smell like a grill after eating there. My friend went there and one of the waitresses fell asleep over the food once, and drooled in it. He and his kids left immediately. I've never gone there to eat or drink, I've only gone once to hang out and kept reminding my friends of that incident. They no longer eat there either. read more

Standard waffle house grub, though really poorly laid out. They could cram another 5 tables in here easily, yet that space is just used by people standing around waiting for the few tables they do have. Waffles were surprisingly good. The layout was nifty and cute for the limited space. Didn't have to wait long, and servers were polite. Picky eaters might have trouble finding something they want; the menu is small compared to IHOP. read more
