Okay. This is my first time at a Waffle House. My experience of a Waffle House has been the crap you see on the Internet - the fights, the drunks, the idiots making scenes. This was not that!! There was plenty of parking. And when you walk in the cleanliness is almost an assault. I was so happy!!! Everyone - every employee - said "Hello!" It was a great way to start the day. I ordered the Breakfast Sausage & Egg Bowl but added Sausage Gravy. Also had a Blueberry Waffle and a Ham steak. WOW! It was ALL DELICIOUS!! The coffee was also a surprise. It was tasty! Erika was very good. Didn't miss a beat even when her station got cluttered. The fact that she was calm during the "rush" was commendable. And everyone in the morning crew seemed to want to work together. Trust me it makes a difference. So, all-in-all a GREAT EXPERIENCE! I am looking forward to trying other menu items as I am staying at a nearby hotel for the week. And please remember to tip at least 20%! And it's better if you TIP CASH!! We had never been to a waffle house so we did not know what to expect, but my expectations werre along the line of similar food to IHop. We were extremely disappointed when we got there. To start off they understaffed, EXTREMELY!! There was only 1 employee running the entire restaurant, back and front of the house so the service was super duper slow. The food also tasted extremely mediocre , it oretty much was all frozen food just heated up. The hashbrowns were chewy and tasted artificial. We probably will never eat at a waffle house ever again. The Waffle House never disappoints. Stopped by for Sunday breakfast. I was greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. I started with a delicious cup of hot coffee. Then I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast and hashbrowns. The eggs were fluffy and delicious made from real eggs. I asked for wheat toast with no butter- which they got right. The hashbrowns were crispy and delicious. The service is friendly and fast and the food is delicious. I recommend you give Waffle House a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

food came out so fast, great crew working, Rhonda was our server and she was amazing and attentive. Nick was running Expo and guiding the cooks where everything was coming out fast and accurate. so nice to hear positive comments amongst coworkers, like how nice they made that waffle, or how on top of the game they are! if I lived here this would be the Waffle House I'd frequent. read more

I give no stars! Took my "90" year old father for breakfast because he wanted a waffle! Got yelled at for sitting down at a booth not cleaned yet asked him to get up I said no as he had a hard time getting up and down ! The waitress got mad and slopped everything all over him! Wow. First time at a waffle house and it was good! Service was excellent we sat at the bar, it is a whole experience getting our order taken and watching the cooks and servers work efficiently and seamlessly together calling orders, washing dishes getting drinks and cooking the food! I got the egg cheese bacon hasbrown bowl, husband got the all star breakfast. The food was brought to us as soon as it was done, it was hot and fresh! Pretty good price as well! We've been to many Waffle Houses during road trips, but finally decided to try our local one. The food ( waffles of course) measures up to their star menu item. But their cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Not only were the menus sticky and windows filthy ( a lot of syrup sticky fingers on kids I guess) but the floors must not be swept very often. Waffle House by default as this was the only restaurant open at 11 p.m. on a Thursday night at Interstate 26 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. My hotel was blocks away and I was hungry as the musical I just attended didn't serve food - only drinks and snacks. I ordered the hash brown meal with all the fixings and a glass of water. It was too late for coffee if I wanted to sleep following my meal. Food was typical "Waffle House" fare. Hot and greasy - eat it quick before the toppings make the hash browns too soggy to eat. The hash browns were "okay" until they became too soggy to eat. I ate about half my meal. Server was polite and friendly. Plenty of parking and restaurant appeared clean. We visted at lunch time on 5/17/2023. We were greeted with a big smile and hello by our waitress. The kind of welcome that you give an old friend. My husband is gluten intolerant and ordering is always a challege. She not only took the time to look at every ingredient but also her manager jumped in to assist and provide a wonderful meal for him.This is the kind of care and service you do not see anymore. I wish i would have retained their names but kuddos ladies! I had the 2 egg breakfast with hash browns and perfectly cooked crispy bacon! It was by far one of the best ive ever had! i recall an Anthony Bourdain episode of Parts Unknown where Chef Sean Brock took Anthony for the first time to a Waffle House and he was blown away. All I can say is this Waffle house in hendersonville on Four Seasons Blvd. is the best waffle house I have been to in years. We walked in the waitress was over to us in one second time, gave her coffee order, two seconds later brought over kept on coming over to refill coffee, asked if she had country ham and immediately said yes and ordered and food was on the table in less than five. I wish I got her name she was so wonderful, pleasant and fun. It was 12 a.m. and the place was not crowded two other people at the counter and one table. It was clean for my standards that says alot, I am a little OCD since covid. I will be back whenever we have a late night. read more

I arrived to Waffle House around 8:30p tonight. There were 3 customers, two of which were homeless men. The only person manning the store was a small 17 year old girl. She was terrific!!! She ran that store like a duck on water despite her obvious anxiety. I worked in F&B for the first 5 years of my occupational journey as an adult but I'm pretty sure this is not ok. I called local PD hoping that they'd send a squad car out to make sure that she is safe for the rest of her shift. After I left I observed the homeless men walk back into the store. The food is okay the service is very very lacking. When I went into the waffle house this morning at 10:00 on Sugarloaf road in Hendersonville I was holler at screamed at called names told to get out don't ever come back nobody likes you. All I did is ask for a waffle and some coffee and Miss New York she talks with a New York accent said all that to me screaming and hollering and well she didn't cuss that's all that's the only thing she didn't do. It was very very bad. I asked for a waffle and they couldn't even deliver that. Me and another man order at the same time he received his order and was half finished his milk and they still didn't have my waffle and they were only four customers in the store and I was one of them. She was completely ugly with me I should sue for defamation of character everybody in the store heard it. He said everybody nobody likes you. Very very ugly experience. Pulled in at 4:30am.The staff was all there having a party and closed the restaurant. They turned 3 cars away and would not open the door. It's a shame I wasted 10 minutes by getting off the expressway and getting back on. There were at least 3 staff members and the friends hanging out at a table laughing. What a joke!!! read more

VERY CLEAN! Stopped here on our way back home from Cherokee on a Sunday afternoon. It was very clean! The staff was very friendly and on time with everything considering they were packed. But to my surprise, the food was largely inedible, the service nonexistant and the only 2 staff members were unaccaptably dismissive of my complaints when asked - the cook was openly rude and combative!
