Not bad...neato tiny little ma and pop greasy spoon joint packed with graying haired men talking politics and reading the paper. Got a sausage biscuit to go to test it out. Cheap. $1.50. Nothing remarkable about the biscuit but not bad either. Cant quite tell if tgey are home made. Came out hot and steaming. Not a bad sausage patty. Will try their cheeseburger next time to get a better read. They do a brisk morning business.

We came here on a holiday Monday for a late breakfast at 1030. Ordered breakfast special with an extra biscuit. Water to drink. $6.94. Waited 22 minutes on my order, and noticed they filled walk in Togo orders before mine and the few other seated customers who ordered prior to me. That may account for The wait. The amount of food was skimpy and I've had the Hardees breakfast platter for $3.99 and gotten more food. The dining area small, 6 four seater booths, 1 two seater booth, and one 4 seater table. Dining area with straws and visible dirt on floor. Bathrooms located around the side of building are clean, smell fresh, well stocked, and slightly chilly despite being heated. I know I wouldn't return for breakfast but would consider takeout for burgers or other lunch, for no other reason but to see what exactly keeps this place afloat.

Country ham egg and cheese biscuit, fresh hot and tasty. Pretty quick. Friendly service. Good price. No complaints.

Cash only breakfast/lunch diner, limited seating but has to-go and a drive through. Always consistent and fairly priced.

I've ordered the sausage biscuit to go while vending downtown at a holiday festival. My husband and I have had a few date night cheeseburgers. Every time we've visited, we have been genuinely greeted and served some of the best meals. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and neatly decorated. I also enjoy their cinnamon rolls for a nice sweet treat! My husband and I were looking for a place to eat lunch and bring our two dogs while visiting downtown Waynesville. After learning Main Street Grill was dog friendly, we decided to give the patio a try. We were greeted with the same kindness we are used to at the door and enjoyed a wonderful meal with our pups on the patio. The kind and knowledgeable staff checked in with us often, offering our pups a bowl of water and lots of attention. My husband and I had the smash burgers, absolutely delicious! I get the fried okra as a side (some of the best fried okra I've had). The girls had a sausage patty (which they thoroughly enjoyed). The patio is very nice and comfortable with a nice view of the mountains. The string lights would make a warm and inviting place for an evening meal. A perfect spot for a nice lunch with or without our furry friends! Main Street Grill is one of our most favorite spots in Waynesville, NC. We look forward to our next visit!

We DO NOT like to be rushed and unfortunately our waitress just kept interrupting our conversation and asking us to order. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was NOT super busy. So I had the cheese ravioli for my main- was really rushed into that decision and my boyfriend had the Reuben with fries... he was told that she would have to check with the kitchen AFTER she said that a special was shrimp and grits!!!! We were like huh???? Anyway one of our favorite spots unfortunately needs to reevaluate their staff. But we will be back and try to avoid this waitress's section at all costs!!!!

Made reservations a week in advance since it is popular & we were coming on a Saturday night. had to call to do this but the staff were quick with the booking. We were staying on the north side of Asheville a few minutes from downtown & this was a quick 12 drive to Weaverille. Place was packed when we arrived 10 mins early for our seating. We waited maybe 3 mins though & were in our booth. The vibe here is something else. Decor is eclectic but layout mimics the vintage diner that it resembles from the outside. Very casual but doesnt necessarily feel that way. Menu isnt extensive so you dont have to fret about too many choices which i personally like. We started off with the seasonal watermelon salad which my wife says is one of her favorite things shes had anywhere in recent memory. I had a side portion of the steak wedge salad. For mains i had the carolina shrimp & grits & my wife got the pot pie. Both were insanely rich & satisfying. Good portions & quality ingredients represented. Even though at this point we were stuffed we had to go for dessert & tried the omg peanut butter pie & the tiramisu. not surprisingly, both were excellent. Apparently they have a dedicated pastry chef who makes the desserts every morning. Service was really good here and my sister in law's friend who was working the bar came over and raved about being employed there which is good to hear. Cant find anything negative to say about this place & you'd be hard pressed to find anybody doing so online really either. Just a local joint serving good food in a fun environment. Highly recommend

The parking lot is smaller but there are still a lot of parking spots available. There are several spaces adjacent to building, including a handicapped space right next to the entrance. Other spaces are across a traffic lane. There is another handicapped in the corner of the lot not too far from the door but be aware the pavement in that area is broken and walking is difficult. There is also no sidewalk from this space to the door and the parking bumpers are in the way. If you do use this space, walk into the parking lot to get to the door. We were greeted as we walked in and taken to a booth. Seating is a mix of tables and booths, with a few seats along the counter as well. We were there a bit after the lunch rush so they were only about half full. Our server took our drink order right away and then gave us a bit of time to review the menu. She returned with our drinks and we placed our order. The food took about 10 minutes to be brought to the table. The Cowboy burger was a good sized patty cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and juicy. The bbq sauce was enough to taste but not so much it dripped as soon as you tried to take a bite. The bun was fresh and held up without breaking apart. The fries were cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and they did not skimp of the quantity. The Blue Ridge burger was outstanding. There were plenty of mushrooms and enough cheese to get some in every bite. The greens and tomato were fresh and added great flavor to the sandwich. The bun itself was very flavorful and certainly added to the overall burger experience. Fries also accompanied this burger and were just as good, being crispy on the outside and soft inside. Ca's is a great diner experience with wonderful service and great burgers. This is a must stop whenever in the area.
