We eat there at least once a week. It's usually before 2pm when the shift changes. The early staff are truly awesome . Today we went in at 5pm. Our server's name was Brittany. There were only 2 people there when we sat down . We ordered our meals. Mine was simple, waffle and sausage. I usually get bacon but it seems the young man cooking before 2 is the only one that knows how to cook bacon. My husband ordered 3 eggs over medium with (1) piece of cheese, got 3 pieces of cheese. He also ordered toast. We had to ask for his toast 3 times and finally after we had finished our meal , they finally gave him his toast. Not once were we offered a refill of our iced tea .My advice to everyone , go to this Waffle House before 2pm to insure a prompt, correct and delicious meal. read more

Poor service. Stood and waited while several places were empty but not cleaned. Servers did not speak or try to clean tables for myself or other people waiting. Finally sat down in between a dirty spot and another guest at counter while server stood in front of me doing nothing until another server came and they spoke to each other. To start, I'm being generous giving 3 stars and the only reason for that is that our waitress, Ashley, was great. She had a wonderful attitude and she was very attentive. The restaurant itself was terrible. The "social distancing" was a joke, they didn't seem to be sanitizing anything, they wiped down counters with water, and I didn't even see them clean off the plastic menus after they were used. They do have a digital menu option, which we used. We also noticed the staff are required to wear masks, which is great, but apparently that's not enforced because one of the cooks had his around his neck... which protects us from his neck sweat I guess???!!! He was working on the grill, but he was so attentive to all of the customers at the same time. Three If the staff were more interested in the obnoxious antics of 4 Marines and who thought yelling out was hilarious. Been here a few times since moving into the area and so far it's pretty good. The food is served hot and to order. They have decent prices actually rather cheap considering most places that serve a full menu all day. The coffee is very good not bitter at all and I would have to say it's better than strong coffee from other places I won't name. The employees here each time I've come have been very professional and welcoming upon entering the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant could use a deep cleaning as the floors and baseboards are really dirty and looks to be filled with grime. Also, if sitting in a booth looking over in the cooking area it's really not well kept greasy and again a bit nasty. I'd suggest closing for a day and doing a deep clean if I were the manager. I'm giving three stars because the food is good and the employees are professional, however the interior of the restaurant needs much improvement. read more

I just came from this Waffle House trying to buy a slice of pie. There was no line and I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting on someone to help me. I made eye contact with several of the workers waiting to be acknowledged or helped and there was actually a worker named Jason right there cleaning something and he was literally there the entire time I was at the counter so I asked him if someone could please help me that I was just trying to buy pie and had been waiting and he said we're really backed up right now and as he said that another worker whom I believe her tag said Meredith or something with an E chimed in and said you can go somewhere else.... I was beyond pissed especially because it was so many workers around and even the manager Bajru was up in the front and didn't acknowledge me either or say anything to the employees. I really feel like going back and getting her name but needless to say I left extremely mad and disappointed because I had just went the morning before and they didn't have the chocolate pie and the guy said to come back tomorrow which I did. We came for late breakfast on a Sunday morning, right before the late morning church service usually gets out and things get busy for breakfast areas. There was a long line, about 10 people, but we were seated in under 5 minutes. The menu is the same from Waffle House to Waffle House. I don't like eating here because the food is way too greasy for me (you know, as diner food is), but the rest of the family seems to like their waffles a great deal. Their bacon is consistently crispy, however, so if you are a bacon lover then you at least won't be disappointed by limp bacon. However, the staff is friendly, the wait for food is extremely short, and the place is clean. If you're unfamiliar with NC, you can enjoy eating at his diner in a smoke-free environment. While I'm not a fan of the food, that doesn't make it bad. It's typical diner food and consistent between Waffle House locations. If you like W.H. you'll like his location too. 4-stars for keeping the place clean and friendly stars. read more
